And he still insists on working with the Martians that have kidnapped him and tried to kill him at least twice (and they tried it again here, and only didn't succeed because the Venusians started attacking everyone).
It's an Enemy Mine situation. Given Morden's character, he probably would've disposed of the Martians when they're no longer of any use to him, since like you said, they tried to kill him twice.

Okay, so, did the Wii version get ported poorly or something? Because there's a TON of effects missing compared to the PS2 version. Bosses and enemies don't flash when they're hit, the screen fade-in and fade-out effects are not present (like the flashback scene or the final explosion scene) and even the soundtrack is missing a few queues. In the fourth boss (Elder Centipede), the background music actually STOPS as soon as there's a tremor. *And it goes silent.* Creating kind of a suspense moment for what's to come. It's only when the boss shows up that the music comes back, with the boss theme playing. I know it's a minor detail, but it really bugged me that it was not present here. :(
Also in the second boss at the scene where the villan guy explains what happened They were trying to get the boss from ms3 to revive it but the venus invaders??? Interrupted them

dude the boss in the sewers can pick up a truck in FIVE INCH DEEP WATER. how does that work? you can't just take five inch deep water, and hide a entire FUCKING PICKUP TRUCK IN IT. that's not possible.

I tried to like this version, but devs wanted to justify low ammo for guns because you have special powers, powers that are only usable against the first boss!! The rest of the bosses are away of range or they keep shooting stuff leaving you no chance.
