- Trying out the backward compatibility for the very first time, technically this is the PS2 classic built for the PS4, but boosted with the PS5's power. And here it is~ The new controller "Dualsense" feels super comfortable as well, I could easily speedrun all the other games with this beast. The graphics are enhanced by the PS5's boost mode (on default) and is upscaled to native 4K. And before I see some dumb comments like I enabled invincibility or used save state - you can't do neither on the PS5, if you know how to please do teach me. This is the raw gameplay recorded from the PS5. (Extra note: The other Metal Slug titles are only available on MS Anthology of the PS4)

Unlike on the PS4 Pro, PS5 Game Boost is enabled by default. This means you don't have to do anything to enjoy your PlayStation 4 games at their very best on the PlayStation 5. However, you will need to ensure you install the latest system software update as well as any game-specific patches to get the most out of your titles.
Metal Slug 6 (メタルスラッグ 6) is a run and gun video game for the Sammy Atomiswave arcade platform released in 2006. It was the first main game in the franchise not to run on SNK's Neo Geo MVS arcade hardware. This game, alongside Metal Slug 3D, were created as commemoration for the series' 10th anniversary. There was a PS2 port in September 14, 2006. It is also featured in Metal Slug Anthology for the Wii, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable, and Metal Slug Complete PC for the PC. Utilizing the backward compatibility on the PlayStation 5 console also allows it to play Metal Slug 6.

That's why this one ,4 and 7 are the least remembered, it isn't bad but they're definitely an downgrade from the other ones, the music is good tho, too bad the special effects are ugly af and too loud too so you can't appreciate the music at first

Yeah idk why in metal slug 7 they attack us again but I'm sure metal slug 6 is like uhhhhh where the story ends and metal slug 7 is a prequel or maybe metal slug actually doesn't have any story at all

I remember I bought the anthology of metal slug just to play this game. I loved they added the feature to switch guns, that was awesome!!! Even the story was pretty cool too!

Interesting. My play-style has always been: Shoot, kill a few things, toss 'nades, collect a powerup, die, continue... do this on loop till the game is done. Didn't know you could not die...

Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3 y Metal Slug 6 dejaron una buena marca en mi vida de jugador. Recuerdo cuando jugaba el Metal Slug 6 en mi PS2. Lo conectaba al minicomponente y le subía todo el volumen y esa parte del final era de película. Recuerdo cómo retumbaba las láminas del techo donde vivía. Eran mis mejores tiempos como jugador. Ahora solo quedan recuerdos, ya que la edad pasa factura y aunque he deseado recuperar esa misma emoción que me hacían sentir los juegos, desafortunadamente ya no puedo. Y eso es lo que más odio de madurar. Por eso jóvenes... Disfruten cada momento de su vida. Si les gusta algo. Disfrútenlo a más no poder para que el día de mañana, no se arrepientan de no haberlo disfrutado. Jajaja. Me oigo como un viejo. Jajaja. Bueno... Eso es todo. Disfrútenla muchachos... 🎉
😯 pero ¿por qué no podrías?, quizá sea cuestión de suerte, yo justo ahora estoy jugando RE4 en mi viejo televisor de tubo, tiene 25 años y aún funciona 😲, sólo se ha dañado una vez, y rápido conseguí un técnico para que lo reparara y afortunadamente no fue algo grave, y después compré un televisor de tubo de 38" y estoy tentado a comprar uno de 50", aunque para optimizar la experiencia necesitaré comprar de esos cables componentes, afotunadamente existen para todas las consolas que tengo 😏, la PS, SS, N64, DC, PS2, GC y Xb 🙂... sólo necesito comprarlos 😅

@@feverdream6142 Yes it was, the Vulcan punch can pretty much take down anything, and If your fast enough and you press LT and RT fast enough you can get back up afterwards
@@sayorinya5435 Not really. You can just mash any button like crazy (like I did with just the square button) and Ralf will still get up like a Shaman after one hit.

Depends .. Any score speedrun doesnt care but Highest core speedrun is the Ultimate Skill Show I see in Shmups and Run and Gun score based games

You know I didn't know until recently that they were originally going to have the "Big" status effect in the game, but seeing all the food items come out of the train in Mission 1 it makes sense.
There was a FAT mode you where slower and your guns shot bigger bullet I remember as a kid I just don't remember what you had to do to get fat
@@CONTRACTOR_SG3 There was in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th games. It was only done in certain stages or sections of a stage in each game. The only requirement was collecting a lot of food items and it would trigger if you were in the right spot.
In Metal Slug 6 the only sign it was supposed to be in the game was a leftover clip of the announcer saying "Uh-Oh Big!" That was dug up in the sound files. You can kinda tell it was supposed to be there though based off the huge amount of food drops in the train section of Mission 1 at least.

Gain the support from the Humans to win the war against the Aliens, inturn obtain Alien support for the annihilation of the Mutants existence. Love it

Went from riding camels (with strapped machine guns) to riding brain aliens (also with strapped machine guns?).
I like that the aliens are utterly terrifyied of the predator aliens, but they still fearlessly send swarms of their soldiers against the ragtag group of people that destroyed their mothership XD
