  • RE themselves offers a solution to butt pain on the Himalayan that mainly occurs on long-distance highway touring. But is it any good compared to the plethora of aftermarket options?

Via youtube recommendation, i come to this video. Watched few more and i loved them all. I am a new himalayan 411 owner, bought one and half month ago. I decided not to wait for himalayan 450. I hope it would be a good long term experience. As per your suggestion most probably i would go for touring seat. I feel the stock seat cushion is very soft and not suitable for long rides. Saying this as i just travelled 200kms on it. Thanks for this video.

Use the stock seat for a while, then switch to the touring seat. Yes, the Himalayan 411 is a totally different machine which will give you a good experience in off-road and short touring. Find a good service centre and you are set. Ride safe 🙂

I tried rao seat bangalore and air seat for my 390 adv. I went back to the net cover over the seat. I feel that really works. 300 bucks try in your front seat.

Didn't find much difference with the touring seat...only ridden 100kms yet...may be it has to be ridden more and bedded in i guess...can u share your experience?

if you are riding for more than an hour straight in stock vs a touring seat, only then do you get to know the difference.
