I heard a suggestion once to put an air tag in each of your checked bags when you fly, in case one gets lost. There's also been many cases of people using air tags to stalk people, by putting them in women's purses, backpacks, or coat pockets, so be careful, if you find one that isn't yours. In December two women in California filed a class action suit against Apple.
I like the way you are so specific at sales and only pick up the pieces you know will bring good return. I need to practice that more in my picking adventures!
That elderly lady was funny describing her husband's forgetfulness- “ He can't remember s**t “ straight to the point there Kayla. Some great picks.....that simple blue - striped bowl was a surprise.
I was literally just finishing up Matt’s video when the notification popped up for your video. I always look forward to Thursday just so I can watch your videos and Matt’s video as well.
Awesome finds!!! So much fun!! Bring ON the 60 minute video!!😂 You find the best things!!! You DEFINITELY have the eye for it!! Awesome way for us to ring in the weekend! Can't wait for next Thursday... wait .. Matt's video!
I do love your channel. Take stuff to protect your findings.I'd rather be safe than sorry. Not being ugly. I know how much you treasure your finds. Plastic crate and some old rags for protection. Thanks for sharing.
I always look forward to Thursdays. Love your videos but girl you gotta take some cushioning materials for breakables and a collapsible bin to put them in works great. Can’t wait for the next video!
I was so nervous about the blue bowl when you sat it on the edge of the trunk and tapped on it a time or two talking about it, like I was gonna jump in and catch it for ya! 😂😂😂 I do love Thursdays for sure ~ YAY it's Kayla!
I literally just replied those words to a previous reply to me, so . . . My people!!?? I need people! Lol only SUPER COOL people though (insert cheesy grin here)!
Just found your channel. Loving it! Great to hear a familiar accent. I’m in Tennessee, so a bit different but still sweet. And I enjoy your approach, your energy, and your personality. Looking forward to riding along on your adventures.
Daughter was watching with me today. I told her I LOVE your energy and watching you doesn't irritate me. LOLOL I also love that we find out NOW what something sold for. I HATE watching folks shopping and might not ever find out what it sold for. I think what bothers me the most.....just TONS of stuff bought, and seems like it never gets listed or sold! The value of some things doesn't hold forever. When I have a yard sale, I actually do love chatting with shoppers about their sales, or their kids, or their adventures. Fun! Stay safe! Hugs!
Don't forget to look over the couch pillows at the yard sales. You got Matt hooked looking for good ones. Don't you have to keep up the profile for you two? 😇 💕
As you kept putting things in your car I was, oh oh, something is going to break and then at the end….😢. Girl, you gotta take some packing material and boxes when you go garage sailing, lol. Enjoyed your video. You have the sweetest voice. Loved the bunnies.
I bought that same roaster for $8 and it sold for $125 plus ship. Love those finds. You find the coolest items. I sure do learn a lot from you. Thank you
The brown stripe looks glossy to me and I've been a pyrex collector for a decade. The marks on the outside are utensil and rub marks and will come off with a magic eraser. Rub lightly and carefully so as to not remove colour from the bowl. There is also a pink stripe and a yellow stripe bowls that go with that set.
I knew you and the part time picker were dating!!!! We have been saying it for weeks and he finally slipped 🤣🤣♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I am so happy for you guys!!
I am surprised that you do not have bubble wrap/ paper to wrap things when you shop. I always bring a box w wrapping supplies. Saves breakage and heartache
😍love the videos I’m in Ireland and I wait for these every Thursday only problem is it’s like midnight my time when they come out.😬 watching Matt too 😍
When you were putting those Pyrex bowls in the back of your truck I thought to myself “now, one slam of the breaks and those are toast”. Definitely keep some old towels or blankets in there for stuff like that. Good finds!! I love your videos!
May I make a suggestion? I used to yard sale every weekend like a boss! I was searching for OLD stuff. Not for resale, just to fill my home with antiques. But in order to keep stuff from getting broken, you might wanna carry 2 or 3 tall, sturdy cardboard boxes in the back of your car. Add some packing paper, bubble wrap, or whatever to quickly wrap up any breakables. My home is full now, but I keep finding, but hit the thrift stores now because of gas prices, not having to get up early (getting old sucks) and knowing the thrift stores and what they offer. Being friendly like you are really helps. I dicker on prices and people don't know what hit them. But I am fair, too. Three of my four kids, all in their late 30's and 40's all buy and sell, used items. Two for a living and one when she needs extra funds. From a 70 years old thrifter. Boy, are my kids gonna have a hay day when I die!!!
Kayla, you are so inspiring. I'm just starting out with my own business flipping items on eBay + forums and a lot of the times when I'm looking at something to pick, I think could this really sell? I'm learning and I love watching your videos, you are teaching me a ton, love your no nonsense, very professional way of finding quality🙂
I love Thursdays! Great finds. I always learn new things on your channel. I know now to look for those Magnalite roasters, and i found out a new Pyrex pattern! Also, what a BOLO on those cute bunny bookends. 😮 I can't wait for the next vid, thanks so much! 😊❤
Great vlog Kayla. I hit a yard sale this week and picked up a juicer also for $1.00, and then sold it for $25.00. So I did well. When I go to sales, I carry packing paper with me at all times. I was trying to tell you, "Kayla, keep those pyrex safe". You didnt hear me though. I LOVE pyrex also. Better the brown one than the blue I guess. Cant wait to see the next vlog and have a great memorial day weekend with the kiddos.
Great video my Kayla girl. What ashame about that pyrex. You need to pack some small blankets in the back so you can use to wrap breakables in and maybe some totes so they don't move around. You got some great deals girl. Can't wait until the next one.
Thank you for sharing about the Apple AirTags. I put one on my husband’s keychain and since he has dementia and wanders, it has saved me time and time again to find him in the neighborhood! They’re a real blessing.
Hi Kayla, hope you and your daughter are doing well. You were on a mission today and didn’t hesitate with what you bought. I love that, in and out 😊 Wonderful items you chose! Have a fantastic weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You found some great things! I'm surprised you didn't check out the Louisville Pottery pieces @ 25:00. They always remind me of Mary Hadley, which is one of my favorites. Keep on keepin' on, girl! 💙
You would absolutely flip over my Pyrex collection, I am 55 yrs old and I have my moms Pyrex set my dad bought for her on their first anniversary. All the pieces have the little orange and yellow flowers on them
Clean your Pyrex with peek, it's super quick and easy. It was a suggestion from Tim, from the resellers information network. I use peek all the time, it really changes the appearance of your Pyrex for the better.
When that nice lady said how much she pays for her antique booth I had flashbacks of the days I had one for about three months. One of the things I love about this job of ours is the never ending learning and growth
Girl you need to put a rubbermaid bin in your car, made me nervous seeing the glassware back there! Great finds! Just found your channel + subscribed, this is my 2nd video, so far.
That lady is so adorable I can relate though I’m 61 and CRS it’s a real thing. I can’t imagine? Stealing boxes of yard sale. I’m thinking we may need tags on us as we get older lol. I think the bag is a good pick up. The bunny guy had good prices but he was high on games you should have hit him with an offer on them all 😅 great buys
Hi Kayla you hit one of my friends yard sales in Lexington.. I try to learn from your videos this is a side thing I do is yard sale myself We have so much glass stuff.. Stanton Ky
I am a new subscriber and I'm already obessed with your channel! ❤ You found some pretty awesome finds! Hope you & your family have a great Memorial Day Holiday! ❤
As usual a great video. Kayla I have to say I am glad to see you have your money wallet is a wrist one. One of your last videos you laid it down. I was so fear you was going to lose it. Lol I am going to have my 75 birthday tomorrow. So I guess I am very cautious of my money and cards and such. God bless you and your girls. Just me Bea ❤
Happy Birthday, Bea ! I will be 75 on June 3rd ! I worried about Kayla losing her wallet, too, and was also glad to see it had a wrist strap on it in this video. Guess we're two old worry warts !
Girl, I was afraid you were going to pass on the Pyrex bowls! I have a small one with the pink stripes #401 and I knew they were worth a good bit. I'm sure glad the blue one didn't break ! I was worried when you just sat them in the car without wrapping them that they would get broken.

That other man that I seen with you on a few videos of yours his voice sounded like I heard before on another garage sale picker but wasn't sure. Nice he joins you on your pickings. You both know your research on things you find. Keep up the good videos.
I travel a lot, so I'm familiar with traveling a lot with my SUV packed. The first thing I thought, when you packed your bowls was nooooooooo, but you didn't hear me, lol. I learned any small bump with glass inside another glass bowl was disaster in the making, sorry. I love your videos.
Lets take a drink everytime someone mentions something about your item getting broken. Let it go. Accidents happen. You've been my favorite since you started. You seem happier maybe because of Matt. He has the most calming personality.❤
My Mom had similar Pyrex bowls. I just remember the quality and colors. We were poor, so they were probably the standard back in the day. Being from KY you may understand this my buddy was going to the range and he had a box of clay pigeons. He went over a bump and lost like half of them.
Electric pencil is for hand engraving into metal objects. The tool vibrates the tip, so it cuts the metal. Especially good for putting a name or initials on tools. You don’t see them as much anymore.

Kayla you are such a sweetheart. Thank you for letting that man know about Air Tags. You could see he was grateful
That was sweet of her...she is just so down to earth. 🥰
Definitely!!! She’s a sweet person
Apple tags I think she said
Yes that was some helpful advice! I sure hope he found his keys soon after that clip. The stress and frustration of losing your keys is horrible.
I wish you'd consider longer videos, Matt also. I think you'd both be surprised how much people would love extended videos. ❤
Kayla, from the comments everyone loves you. Funny how everyone is looking out for u to have bins and packing materials for your finds. Great video

There was basket 🧺 at the garage sales too!
You walked right by the Longaberger Baskets!!!
I about died when you had that bowl sitting on edge of your trunk 😬
Your videos are SO much more entertaining than the other pickers! I enjoy Matt's too!
I would love to have an hour long video from you all day yard selling
Me too. I learn so much from her.
Yes!
Yard Sale = Yard Saling 😂
Absolutely would love it. I have learnt a lot from both of them.
Always keep a bin and towels in ur car. So happy the big one didn’t break. Just watched Matt’s before yours. We would love an hour long video 🥰
I love how you chat with everyone at the yard sales, like you're suddenly friends with everybody. Such a friendly person 😃
Funny observation… Matt is so slow, cool and easy, Kayla reminds me of myself on speed! 🤣😂
