Either she was abandoned or maybe her owner passed away and no one else wanted her. I'm just glad that these two people took her in and adopted her.
What a memorable story. She changed from a begging, abandoned, street cat into a gorgeous, spoiled princess, which she deserves. One reason to rescue and adopt, not to buy.

I was worried for a second until you said you found them homes. 62 would be a bit too many even for someone in the middle of nowhere.

1 male in our neighborhood
1 female can have up to 36 cats a year, many of them are males but the females start having babies at 4 to 5 months of age, and they just kept multiplying,
I never had a cat or own one in till I was looking at this white kitty infront of my house he got ran over, I saw the mom pain my Neighbor said all her babies have gotten killed
From the last litter, I ask the city to help me stared traping all the cats she had had in the past, I didn't realize how many cats were in my Neighborhood until I started trapping, I brought young mama's to make sure they had there babies in my house we have a 2 story shop where we build boxes for them with heat and air
TNR programs will help
I bought 7 traps so I can keep traping and that original mama she is killing us
She is super smart she will.not get in any trap even drop traps we tried with 1 of her babies nothing works she refuses the traps
We don't don't stop in till we find all the litter she keeps having all.my Neighbors know I am just trying to fix the situation
So they tell me where the cats are she moves arround because I keep taking her cats but she abandoned them way to young
We have in texas Cayotes like crazy they run arround like dogs arround here
So really my numbers are small compared to ppl who do this every say TNR programs
How did you get started, if you dont mind? There are some strays in my area
I saved only 2, in Chicago and Hawaii.
That cat has such a good temperament; it did not attempt to kill anyone who was medically treating her, cleaning or grooming her and she willingly got into the pet carrier. I think the Cat appreciates everything those people are doing for her and loves them.
I wish they all have a happy life!

this cat has heterochromia, each eye a different color. In my country they are believed to bring good luck. I hope she brought good luck to this kind person.
You know when I was homeless, I found a white stray cat who was long-haired. She's a Turkish angora and she's absolutely stunning. She has a little Gray patch. Looks like an angel shape on the top of her head and she had 4 kitties. She was pregnant when I found her. She was just like a 9 month old kitten and I helped her get her babies into this world. And I have her in 2 of her babies and 2 of her babies went to another home and I love white cats and one of her babies was also had the same eyes that this little girl has. And this little girl is absolutely stunning and beautiful. She reminds me of my girl only with short hair love this
The fact that she is letting you rub her tummy shows how safe she feels in her home with her people ❤ brings me so much joy watching this

Yes, some Turkish Van cats have such an appearance. There are different Van cats. They see usually all sweet.

Amazing eyes and her fur is a special colour too, it has a bit of taupe in it.
Even through the vet visits and groomers, she knew you were taking care of her. Such a sweet cat, I hate to think what her life was like on the streets.
She handled it well. Without hunting skills she found a friendly human. Very smart.

I read somewhere that the probability of deafness is about 35%. The probability with one blue eye is the same, but only on the side with the blue eye.

Сколько их было в моей жизни, каждый раз зарекалась, а потом тащила домой, не в силах спокойно смотреть как страдает животинка и все равно их так много, бедных, что даже человеческой жизни не хватит всех обустроить..
Если бы все люди переодически хотя бы подкармливали животных они бы были счастливы и беззаботны. Без людской поддержки им тяжело.

Some cats deal with the outside world well, those are the ones that don't come up to every human that pspspsps at them. If they want to come in and you have no reason not to let them, you should. Even if you just put a heater and some food and water in your garage or something.

Loyalty is something a cat gives when you take care of it, love is something you both give as kindred souls when you adopt each other.

Большое спасибо вам за то, что приютили бездомную кошечку... У всех животных должен быть дом и забота. Это страшно, что государство никак не озабочено созданием приютов, бесплатной стерилизацией и рекламой этих "братьев меньших" и призывом брать их с улицы домой...В школах надо учить этому детей и тогда общество можно будет назвать здоровым....

Не даром в Древнем Египте кошки очень ценились. Даже брови сбривала семья, которая теряла кота или кошку. А сколько мумий их сделано. Я за своей ушедшей страдала долго, пока она не приснилась и не сказала:« Мама, хватит убиваться, я встречу тебя там обязательно, когда прийдёт твоё время», вот тогда я успокаиваться начала, а ещё во сне другом расцветку показала, какого кота мне брать, так и есть купили серенького полосатого с рук у мексеканцев в Лос Анджелесе.
