@@BeNice2All0 Not really, since the Ultimate Ninja Storm series is THE most comprehensive adaptation of Naruto that is neither manga nor anime. Most of the details are exceptionally minor. The most egregious thing omitted was Danzo in Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.
Obito has got to be my fav character of this whole series, his character is just like naruto except instead of Jiraiya as his sensei, he had Madara 😓
If Madara wasn't the way he was, he'd be a dope ass teacher to have. Learning from someone who you share the same abilities with (for the most part) and that can go head-to-head with Hashirama? Sign me up ASAP!

Rin had the 3 tailed beast in her and the hidden mist wanted to use her for experiments and her only way of escape was death so as kakashi had used his lightning blade instead of the mist ninja getting hit, she jumped in the way and got impaled instead

Yeah it’s going to take awhile. Probably a year tbh. But it’ll be a fun ride 🤩🥳
For what happened to Rin: She was captured by the Hidden Mist Village and they sealed the 3 Tail Beast inside her. Their plan is to use her as a sort of a Trojan horse bomb to attack the Hidden Leaf Village (The village Kakashi, Obito and Naruto the main character is from) by letting her carry the Tail Beast inside her into the village and then deliberately letting the Tail Beast burst out of her. All Tail Beasts are like walking calamities that destroy the landscape in their rampage. Their Tail Beast Bomb attacks, which are concentrated chakra bomb attacks that they can spam, are like nukes that can level mountains. The Hidden Mist deliberately let Kakashi rescue Rin, and then even fakely chased after them but not catch them, to give them a sense of urgency and danger to escape back to Hidden Leaf Village.
Rin, being a sensor type ninja who is sensitive to chakra changes, noticed the foreign chakra inside her. She quickly understood what the Hidden Mist was trying to do when she realised the 3 Tails was sealed inside her, and she quickly made the decision that she had to die to not let their plan come to fruition. She told Kakashi about it and wanted Kakashi to be the one to end her, because she loved him. Either that or she will be committing suicide either way. Kakashi refused of course, having lost Obito by then and also promising Obito that he will keep her safe. He was hoping to bring her back to their teacher Minato (The 4th Hokage and Naruto's father) in hopes that their teacher will have a solution.
The Hidden Mist ninjas overheard that Rin was onto their plan because they were still chasing them, so they decided to kill Kakashi and recapture Rin before she can kill herself. Kakashi decided to engage the Hidden Mist ninjas to buy time for Rin to escape and get to their teacher Minato. Even if he has to sacrifice himself in the process, he will keep his promise to Obito to keep Rin safe. Kakashi used his self-invented trademark technique, the Chidori to try to get a hit in and instantly kill one of the Hidden Mist ninjas. Chidori is a high speed trust attack with a hand coated with Lightning chakra for maximum speed and penetration, made to have the hand pierce through all defenses and through the enemy to kill them. What happened next is that Rin instead saw this as an opportunity and she jumped in front of Kakashi and took the Chidori attack head on instead. That's why you see Kakashi's hand went through her.
Obito of course witnessed this. Obito is an orphan, and Rin was the only person in his life that remotely cared for him, which made him loved her. He knew Rin loved Kakashi, and he was happy with Rin being with Kakashi, because what mattered to Obito was that Rin is happy. You can say Rin is Obito's very tether to humanity. Witnessing her being killed by his friend whom she loved is some next level bullshittery that made something snapped inside Obito. After Obito massacred all the Hidden Mist ninjas present, he managed to discern what the Hidden Mist's plans were. He decided to join Madara's plan of Infinite Tsukuyomi, not only to bring Rin back, but also to eradicate all this fighting and ugliness in the world. To him, the root cause of Rin's death is ultimately the conflicts caused by the darkness and ugliness of humanity. Simply put, Obito has lost all hope and faith in humanity.
Really should've waited to see if it was gonna be covered in later episodes. Otherwise this is just super serious spoiler and I don't understand why people feel the need to do so.
I'm pretty sure this video doesn't get into what really happened with the Kakashi killing Rin situation. So here goes my explanation, if you want it: the Hidden Mist Village made experiments with Rin, putting the Three Tails Beast inside her. Their plan was for Kakashi to rescue her and bring her back to the Hidden Leaf Village. When they got there, the hidden mist ninjas would make Rin transform into the Three Tails to destroy everything. Rin realised their plan and very selflessly throwed herself in front of Kakashi's attack to die by his hands. Hope this helped.
I heard that the game might explains it once it reach to the part of the game so far, as we are watching the story set during correctly order of the timeline. So we might witness the truth in some parts ahead

It's interesting seeing someone's exposure to the series in this way. You're not supposed to know about these Obito events until like 70% of the story is over. You're just supposed to think Obito is just Kakashi's dead friend, and then it hits you with the reveal that he's been alive all along and is an imposter Madara, and then you learn more about his story and how he actually survived. Fans even speculated back and forth for yearssss if the masked man was Obito or not before the reveal.
To clarify, this isn't a "wrong" way to experience this story or anything, just vastly different than seeing the series from episode/chapter 1.

The Hidden Mist sealed the Three-Tails into Rin with a remote-release seal. They intended for her to get back to the village and then open the seal, destroying the Hidden Leaf. Rin figured it out and told Kakashi to kill her. He refused but she jumped into his path when the Mist ninja tried to recover her and Kakashi hit her with his attack instead of the enemies. Obito arrived just in time to see it happen.
The Sharingan is tethered in emotion. The more extreme emotion an Uchiha feels, the stronger their Sharingan gets. They feel love, joy, anger, and sorrow more strongly than other clans. Unfortunately, negative emotion is easier to induce during wartime than positive emotion. The more they use negative emotion to fuel their Sharingan, the stronger those negative emotions become. The Uchiha became trapped in a spiral of hate that eventually destroyed their clan.

Your comment about "this is cheating" is more true then you know. The sharringan is an Uchiha kekkei genkai (an ability only their clan can unlock and use). It allows for faster processing of information and in later stages of its awakening can even predict exactly what an opponent is about to do. Often before they know it. It can also see through all genjutsu, as well as allow the user to copy any ninjutsu they happen to see except other kekkei genkai
Think of eyeballs in Naruto as light bulbs.
A bit of detail about Kakashi killing Rin: Rin got kidnapped by the hidden mist (how nobody watched her to the point where she could get kidnapped is beyond me), they made her the jinchuriki of the 3 tailed beast, probably placed seals in that ritual to where they can unleash the beast whenever they want. They planned for her to get saved and Kakashi did. They chased them not to capture them again, but to hurry them back home to the hidden leaf so they can unleash the tailed beast in the heart of the enemies home. Rin didn't know as she probably was under a genjutsu. On their way back home she felt the tailed beast inside her and figured out the hidden mist's plan. She asked Kakashi to kill her without further explenation. He refused and was put in a position where he had to fight the hidden mist and could not run from them anymore (probably by Rin stopping to run). Kakashi charged with his chidori (aka lightning blade) attack to a hidden mist ninja and Rin jumped into his attack.
Also for more context on this video so Kakashi, Obito, and Rin in the videos you watched them as a team they were 12 years old and when Obito recovered from his injuries and went to help his team fight against the Mist Ninja they were 13 years old at the time
I was kind of hyped to see you guys react to this, but upon further inspection I hate to say that it isn't the most enjoyable way to watch someone react to Naruto's story. Especially for their first time.
I could write several more paragraphs than I intend to on why, but to save time I'll just say that that games can't do the emotional weight justice without proper pacing, animation and music. A lot of appealing aspects of Naruto have to do with beautifully animated and choreographed fight scenes, rewarding character decisions and stellar, unforgettable music scores. All of which are absent from the viewing experience you're having. The actors usually do a good job in the show, but the acting/directing pales in comparison here. The order of events in the way you're experiencing it undercuts the narrative direction and pacing. The information you're learning (in addition to being confusing without context) is very spoilery and is much more effective and rewarding to have learned it only after taking time to understand the world of Naruto and learn about its characters and relationships with each other.
I know these scenes were arranged deliberately and the investment of watching Naruto is a daunting one. That's probably why you chose to react to it in this way, but do yourself a favor and don't taint your experience. Whether you intend to upload your reaction to the show or not, Naruto is ultimately best enjoyed as an anime--with all the benefits (and admittedly flaws) of storytelling that comes with it.
For more context to Rins death:
She was the Jinchuriki for the 3 tailed beast and when ahe got captured and kakashi had to rescue her she found out she had a Forbidden Curse Tag implanted in her so the tailed beast would be let loose on the leaf village when she and kakashi returned. So to prevent this she jumped in front of kakashi's strike to protect the Leaf Village. Kakashi never intended to kill her and rins kidnapping was in fact part of Madaras plan to turn Obito

In the show Obito being alive is the longest running mystery and isnt revealed immediately like in ninja storm 4. He was just meant to be the reason for Kakashi getting his Sharingan and the main villain for most of the show hides behind a mask and in anonymous though he claims to be madara uchiha. For something like 150 episodes his identity is a mystery and Obito is believed to be dead the masked character uses alias
Hello, i don't know if it was said in the comments before and given it's seem to chronological i don't think it'll be shown but to get where Kakashi was coming from on his obsession with following the rules.
When he's 5 and joins the academy his father Sakumo a war hero and revered ninja of the village, during one of his mission, abandons it in order to save his teamate resulting in a failure and some lost lands.
And for that Sakumo was shunned and vilified by his superiors, the village and even his teamates and Kakashi saw the whole village turn his back on his father, saw the depression he went through and eventualy his suicide becoming an orphan...
So he learned that 1 "wrong" decision was all it took for his nation to turn on him and forget the deeds of the past, that the pawn game of nation was more important than the lives of the ninja serving those nations, friendship could be broken and the admiration of the citizen didn't mean anything.
And ends up feeling that he needs to clean the family name of his father's "mistake".
So he decided that as a shinobi he'll always follow the rules, that the mission was always more important than your comrades, that your country doesn't care about you, recognition doesn't get you anything the day you miss.
So him coming back here is a big character development for him and the sentence from Obito that he'll later teach Naruto "ninja that break the rule are scum but those that abandons their friend are worse than that" a turning point for who he is and becomes. Since it reminds him of his father and now understands why he chose to abandon the mission.
Lastly something that has never been conveyed that well (in my opinion) wether it's in the manga/anime/games is that Kakashi is supposed to be 12 years old here and Obito and Rin 16. (For their rivalry given that Kakashi is the leader and of higher rank than Obito.
PS: As for Rin and Kakashi, she was abducted by the village of the mist and turned into a "human bomb" so she jumps in front of one of Kakashi's attack so she wouldn't become a threat for their village, it wasn't a choice on Kakashi's part and has been living with that guilt since. And Obito turns to Madara in no small part due to hatred toward Kakashi and grief has he thinks that Kakashi did it out of convenience and was following orders.
You guys should watch a summary of the chunin exams and release it once we get there. Its a major arc of the story
If you guys don’t understand WHY Kakashi killed rin?!?!? Was because the anime actually explained why and showed the reason why so what happened was that rin got kidnapped and Kakashi found out and had to make his way to go rescue her and then along the way he found out that hidden mist ninjas from the hidden mist village were having a experiment program, the only village that have that but it also was breaking the Five Kage Summit Agreement Amongst all Five Nations…..but the Hidden Mist Village at the time didn’t give a fuck cause they was evil like that back then but they was tryna use the 3rd Tailed Beast and seal it within a host because nobody was a vessel for that mythical beast at the time and they had no more bodies to use within their own village because they was trafficking their own kind in their own village but once they found out they couldn’t do it to a lot of them in there own village?!?!? They had to go for ones from other villages and got Rin and she ended up getting experimented on her quick and had the 3 Tails inside of her ended up being the Jinchuriki(Vessel) of the 3rd Tailed Beast and Kakashi saw no other way but to kill her becaus he was young and he didn’t know how to undo the seal from her body and soul so it’s hard for someone like him to be put in that situation like you CANT blame Kakashi for what he did and he’s already been blaming himself enough throughout the series because of it
I don’t remember if they explain it but the hidden mist village kidnapped rin so they can seal the 3 tails in her knowing she couldn’t control it so when she went back to the village it would rampage and mess up the village and she knew that so she jumped in front of kakashi’s raikuri (the lightning thing) and that’s what obito saw

I am pretty sure you will get the full context of the Kakashi Rin scene that obito saw, so i wont spoilt it but yes. at this point in the story (manga and anime too) context is intentionally missing....which just makes everything even sadder :D........ (im not crying ;-;)

the obito fight with the hidden mist is so good in the show, but i think the english dub is lacking emotion. Japanese + subtitles is the best.

Found the video you guys are watching for this series, stick with it. This is actually perfect for you to watch to understand the entire story of Naruto. Just take your time with it because I saw it’s hours long but it’s more content for you guys to post over the incoming months. I co-sign this is one of the best ways to digest Naruto
I'm not so sure these being in chronological order rather than the order you would get the information normally is such a good thing
its sad to say but the games VO especially english VO just doesn't quite do it justice. BUT, Hopefully you delve deeper into naruto story especially the original japanese voiced anime. the performance is just night and day compared to the english VO.
You know that this 21 hour video doesnt have two arcs from the manga right. Thats why you should have watch the anime or read the manga.

Rin had the three tails sealed inside her and the hidden mist village wanted to take her and use her as a weapon. Things were looking real ugly so the only option was to kill rin so they don't get the three tails. Sadly this was in the Manga only, not in the games witch kinda sucks for newcomers. I honestly feel like some of the cut scenes will have spoilers for Ken and Bethany that's my own opinion at least.
The reveal of Obito being Madara was one of the most mind blowing things that happened and a whole series!
Yeah it kind of already got ruined for us when we checked out obito death battle (though Bethany doesnt remember that one too much as our dog Bucky was being a handful during filming haha 🤗)
For context, Obito being alive was such a big shock in the series that took years to be revealed.
Kakashi’s backstory was shown maybe around 30% into the story. The story you’ve seen here, in the actual anime and manga ended after Minato Sensei talked to Rin and Kakashi and the narration about Kakashi and Obito becoming heroes. After that there was absolutely no mention of Obito until literal years and hundreds of manga chapters/episodes later.
Before Obito was revealed to be alive, there was another very goofy character introduced in Naruto called Tobi. He wore an orange mask and was part of the villain group and had bizarre powers but wasn’t anything more than a mysterious comic relief for the bad guys.
That is until this goofy Tobi suddenly reveals that he is none other than Madara Uchiha, which was such a shocking reveal. But then it’s doubly shocking later on when it’s revealed not only Obito is alive, the Madara Uchiha we knew of was actually just Obito all along. This was after fans thought Obito was dead the whole time and we had spent hundreds of chapters with this Tobi/Madara Uchiha character
Also, Kakashi’s backstory and Obito’s entire screen time prior to the plot twist of him being alive consisted of only two episodes. But even with only like 40 minutes of time with the character Obito I think everyone watching cried when he “died” lol
Chronological order is great for newcomers to quickly and easily get the storyline right but it does take a lot from the emotional journey. There is some stuff you definitely shouldn't know right away after some other.

I love LOVE! Obito. He’s lowkey my favorite character from the series which is reaching because there are sooo many cool characters but he truly takes the cake with everything. 😭 Loved the Video

The Naruto ultimate storm games are probably my favorite adaptation of the story. Although it skips over quite a bit from the first part of Naruto (Land of Mist arc, Chunin Exam arc, Sound 4 arc) the rest of the story is perfectly adapted, and in some cases the game executes some scenes better than the original manga/anime
Coming every Friday for Naruto. And we heard the games are good adaptations but guess that comes in later for the series. We may have to watch some scenes in our own time to get some more context but the community has been super helpful with giving us info 🙂
I wish they didnt put obitos turn this early in the video it kinda erases the mystery later in the story
I get that this is how the events happened chronologically, but the events about how Obito and Madara met were revealed near the end of the series.
One of the greatest scenes in the anime but super nulified in the game 😭

Anyway, have you really watched all of Clone Wars already?
Just for more context, the scenes you are watching are in chronological order but not the order of the actual anime as Obito and Kakashi’s backstory gets revealed in the sequel series of Naruto, called Naruto Shippuden. The first series Naruto is about Naruto and his friends going through their trials and tribulations as ninjas and Shippuden dives into more about the overall conflicts and history of the world. And Obito’s reveal in Shippuden is apart of the final arc(season) of Naruto Shippuden and that’s when we get all the story of Kakashi and his old team with Obito and the big moments of those flashback episodes are being represented in the video you were watching first when it dived in to Team Minato at the second half and then this second video covers more of the old team flashbacks as well as adding the backstory episodes of Obito and why he fell into the darkness. Hope this helps you guys and can’t wait for when you react to more 😎👍
There is a ton of emotion in Naruto. There's a reason Naruto's favorite move is called Talk-no-jutsu. Get all them feelings out.
There are a few moments/fights that I think the game cutscenes just can't or wont do justice. The Obito vs Mist ninja fight is way more emotional and impactful in the anime. So i'll list some of them here so you can watch them on your own or react to them which I'd be happy to watch.
1. Rock lee vs Gaara chuunin exams.
2. Naruto vs Sasuke part 1 final fight.
3. Itachi vs Sasuke
4. Obito vs Mist ninja
5. Obito vs Kakashi
6. Sasuke vs Naruto.
Chunin exams aren't even in the games lol 😂

I really wish you guys watched the show,
I don’t think the game explains this but I can inform you in why kakashi followed the mission before all rule so hard. His father was a shinobi of one of the wars. He was very accomplished and one of the strongest in his time. During a mission, instead of completing it he saved his comrades. The thing is the mission ended in catastrophe due to this and everyone in the village including the comrades he saved shunned him. Eventually, one day kakashi came home and found his father committed suicide leaving him alone. Kakashi became very committed however very self absorbed aswell believing he could do it all alone.
Loving your reactions to Naruto 🎉. Just a heads up though, Naruto suffers from a lot of wasted potential, whether it be in the world-building or characters, especially the female characters (to be fair, there are a lot of characters, there's just not enough time for everyones development).
It does have a lot of really great characters aswell though, but it is something you will notice (maybe not as much in the game).
If you can look past that, this show does have a lot of great messages, themes, amazing fight choreography and storytelling. So definitely still worth a watch despite its shortcomings.

And Rin was just a crossfire target the entire time.
Though Kakashi did turn out better thanks to these experiences. Well, better in the sense that it would help shape him into who we know nowadays.
