What is the difference between OPS and TPS, operations per second and transactions per second? The comparison chart shows Solana does 10k TPS while SEI does 20k OPS. Everyone seems to treat them the same, but are they? Thanks.

Great stuff. I get EVM, and how SEI is ahead of the game there, but is there such a thing as BVM (Bitcoin virtual machine), and could SEI incorporate that too? And by doing so, get even more ahead of that side of the market as it emerges, assuming that even is or could be a thing?
Bitcoin doesn’t have smart contracts, so there is no virtual machine
And one more question, if you will. When does SEI v2, which I believe is the addition of EVM, come out? Thanks.
I believe it’s expected for Q1 this year
How do you see SEI v2 comparing with Solana?
Less of a native developer ecosystem right now, but once it’s EVM compatible, lots of current Ethereum devs should be able to deploy there. Solana’s big advantage has been attracting consumer dapps and depin networks, so it may fulfill a different niche than SEI.
Do you think SEI with v2 will be enough of an advantage that some Solana developers might change and move over or some developers who were considering Solana might then choose SEI v2 instead?@@DynamoDeFi

what does it mean for sei to be evm
EVM stands for Ethereum Virtual Machine. It means that applications that run on Ethereum will also be able to be deployed on Sei.

Haven't watched yet, so maybe this is addressed in the video, but one of my main concerns and questions is token unlocks. 1.7 billion mkt cap but 7.43 billion fully diluted as of today.

So its a cosmos chain, that aims to provide an evm between eth and solana? (Sei V2) what has solana got to do with it? Just a word salad.
It's a parallelized chain, like Solana, but that's EVM compatible.
Sei sounds like a rug pull.
Backed by Coinbase Ventures and already have a working Layer 1. Not a rug pull, though you can debate over how much traction it will get of course.
Why is this guy so focused in comparing hisnchain with Solana?
Because it needs to be better than solana in order to succeed.
