My Mom and Daddy got married in Calhoun Georgia in 1951. Mom was 16 and Daddy was 21. Best parents anyone could ask for.

What caught my eye especially were the Sherry Lewis-style hand puppets from the early 1960s on TV. What a nice but unusual store. The emblem on the store front reminded me of Chuckee Cheeses Pizza, but Buckees is anything but.
Marie and I were just talking about going back up there to get another brisket sandwich.

I went to Lagrange Ga a couple years ago for a wedding and stopped here on my way home. This was the first Buc-ee's I ever went to. I got to visit the one in TN in Dec when I went to Gatlinburg. Hoping to visit one in Richmond Ky this fall. They are an experience.

Calhoun Georgia is really growing big I remember when it was a little country hicktown yeah right up the road from Rome Georgia.

I have been to a Bucc-ee's out here in Texas, it is a nice store plenty to see and food to eat, but I have to agree there is way to many people in there, I don't like being around that many people either, thanks for sharing !!!!❤

Sorry for your loss Marie. I've never heard of Buc-ee's. They have a nice size gas station. The store looks nice. On UA-cam editor you can click on blur faces and it will blur people's faces. I am like that if a store is crowded I don't stay long because I get anxiety from being in crowds. The brisket sandwich and fudge looks good.

I have never heard of Buc-ee’s . I was surprised they didn’t sell groceries. It doesn’t hurt your diet every once in a while to cheat. But the trip was good for you.Sorry about all the sadness you had to go through. I certainly know all about that.God less you both. Love ya.

I just saw a video last week about Buc-ee’s in Dallas Texas. I’m impressed at the size and variety of food’s. That are well stocked for sure. We don’t have one in my area. Thank you for the tour. My condolences on your loss. Have a blessed week.

We love bucees. Every chance we get to stop by one we certainly do. The closest one to us is 2 hours away in Baytown , Tx suburb of Houston. All the food there is great , so are those beaver nuggets, very addictive . Yes things are pricey , usually we don’t buy a lot. Hope y’all had fun !

I had never heard of this place before. What's in those nuggets? Wondering what it compares to. Glad you made it home safe.
The nuggets are corn puffs covered in a light brown sugar coating. It is very similar to caramel popcorn in taste but texture is slightly different. I loved it to much.

Hi Marie and Calvin. I loved riding along with to Buc-ees. I have never heard of that store before. Please take us along with you on more car rides. Its nice to see what other parts of our country looks like. I would love to show you how beautiful Minnesota is in the summer time. I've only been in Georgia once in my life. That was when our son graduated from Fort Benning the army base. We were there for a week and got to do some sightseeing. Thank you and take care

Calvin and Marie, Thanks for sharing your trip to Buck-e's I have heard of it but never been there. I thought I would take a moment and leave y'all A comment. I have been producing video and VLOGS A good many years now here on UA-cam and consequently I am often too busy maintaining my own channel to comment very frequently. My Wife and I do however subscribe to and enjoy watching the cooking videos y'all produce among several other Cooking show type channels. We usually stream them to our living room television. Today I finally picked up on about where yall are located when you mentioned Silver Creek I think that's up past Rockmart. I use to get to Rockmart on A regular basis when I was still working at the Railroad. Mentioning Rockmart has reminded me of A story to tell on A future vlog.
