Beautiful area, thanks for taking us with you. I grew up in upstate New York and when we were kids my father would take us to the locks on Mohawk River to watch the boats going through. The lock in your video brought back some great memories from my childhood.

Thanks Calvin and Marie. This trip reminds me of Daddy taking us fishing. As a little boy we would pass the chain Gang Workers in white and black strips sling blading of the sides of the road and carrying their ball and chain. Daddy would tell us if you grow up and get in trouble with the law they had a stripped suit and a ball and chain for you! We would also walk the river bank I remember seeing the biggest snapping turtle in my life, as a little boy I thought it was as big as a Volkswagen! What good memories. I miss Rome/Home!

We have the historic Erie Canal system here in western NY. We've ridden boats through the locks at various locations. Of course the locks are drained from late fall until late spring so they won't be damaged by ice. Thanks for sharing your morning travel to the lack. Best to you both.

I have noticed a lot of restaurants that was good before covid... just aren't the same....it's a shame 😕... I hate you all didn't get what you asked for. I would call and let them know..if they don't know they can't fix the problems. Great video!! Have a great week guys!

Thanks for the beautiful ride. I love them all. Even though we can make something better at home we like to ride and just get out and pick it up, but when it’s not right we are really disappointed. Always look in the bag before you leave the place. Just in case it’s not right. That’s what I was told to do. I made your corn bread muffins last night, they were really good with the pinto bean soup. But my soup turned out to be black eyed pea soup. Lol

Beautiful place! My dad was stationed in Panama in the mid 60’s during the riots. We got to see the ships go thru the Panama Canal all the time. It was beautiful there too. Have a Blessed evening!
