I just wanted to see your reaction because of the way he sang the song .....he had a high pitch through out the song then to the end he had his normal voice and the look on your faces was the reaction I was looking for and also the way in which he jumped inside the street and swam to the other side while people worked on the street to me it was amazing....lol question who jumps in asphalt and swims in it lol ....the reaction you guys gave was the reaction I was looking for thank you much

@@xandermarley8552 Maybe for you, but you have to understand why Kate wrote the song and sang it that way. It was for a particularly dramatic movie scene involving a difficult birth. Maxwell's cover is too chill and would not convey the same sense of urgency. Kate sings in many styles and genres. She has the knack of choosing which one, and deciding when and where to use it appropriately.

@@MetalRHeadReacts1985 Kate wrote it, produced it, sang lead and backing vocals plus plays piano. About 10 years before Maxwell. I think he was 15 years old when she did it in 1988.
