and a night lighting touchup night time in this game is awful, after sunset there's a time slot in which it gets PROPERLY dark, but actually so dark even headlights don't do much, and then most of the night is lit by a stupidly bright moon to the point headlights are unnecessary. And dusk/dawn look weird, they have this diseased looking green hue.
2:33 this can be easily fixed by putting a small separation in height for each layer, maybe between 0.025 or 0.01, this also helps with selling the effect of a 3D cloud further
the beamng new world editor functions like torque3d world editor, i tried it on torque3d game engine (without putting anything on it) then tried to make a 3d clouds
You can by deleting the levels folder in your user folder (You can get there by selecting *Manage user folder>open in explorer* in the BeamNG launcher.)
yeah beamng needs a skybox revamp
true and probably weather features
To get another -859 fps

In War Thunder, the clouds are 3D and can even cover the sunlight, as well as black smoke from burning planes.
Yeah the clouds and smoke in War Thunder looks amazing
MSFS 2020👀
That's because they're volumetric clouds, this game doesn't have that, but i really wish it would.
At 2:55 how did you achieve these graphics? Please make a tutorial
that emoji😹
probably a reshade mod? or its just the way the sun is positioned
Did you not watch the video?
@@tamazhi6762 I did, I'm talking about how the headlight reflection and other obvious graphical changes are done. Nothing related to the clouds

Okay but what if you listened to that other guy who made you delete the clouds how to fix that ? 😂😂😢
I tried it on old version of beamng (0.3.4) and it also works

@@BMWZ4Gamer37 i know
We need actual rain in beamng
would be cool if this was implemented by the devs, maybe if they find a way to make it less power hungry
I did but it did not work
Crazy julien
This game desperately needs Volumetric Clouds.
There’s a really neat project by Chipboard which is definitely worth checking out!
