What Tony is speaking is the truth. If you are a single woman in this dating market then you have to take these things into consideration. If you know you’re average and a man way better looking than you is pursuing you then you have to wonder why. I don’t think I’m ugly. I’m fit and keep myself looking nice but i know as a brown skin woman I’m not the standard of beauty for most men. I understand that I Will most likely have to choose an unattractive man if I want him to be a provider for me. I will also most likely have to venture outside of my race as well. Some of y’all have to be honest with yourselves. Just focus on looking your best and being realistic when dating

If a man notices another man's "beauty" it doesn't mean that you're gay. A handsome man is a handsome man. An unattractive man is an unattractive man. Means nothing. I don't know...I think that the people in the comments who would even suggest that about you Tony have some maturing to do.
I have older guy friends (in their 50s and 60s) that can say their son looks handsome or can acknowledge if a man looks sharp in a suit or whatever it is, and they feel secure within themselves as a man. It's not a big deal to acknowledge one another unless you make it a big deal. Same thing with telling another man you love him. I love it when I see men say, "I love you, brother/dad etc. We NEED more love in this world. We need to be telling each other that we love one another and are here for each other. I work in a field where people are starved for love.

The bottom line is… YOU HAVE TO BE GENUINELY IN LOVE WITH YOU & KNOW YOUR WORTH. No matter what gender, color, shape, or size you have to love you thee absolute most, get to know yourself and constantly work on self-improvement and what that looks like to you in all areas. If you do not have this mindset, you will be a follower, be used, conned and taken advantage of in some form or fashion whether that’s in a relationship or at work. KNOW YOUR WORTH AND ADD TAX! Always focus on your abundance, mind, body and soul… then you will be able to feel and easily know what is genuine, what is fake, what is influenced by society etc. You will move this way in all situations in life and only get better at it!! 👑

Understanding the concept of Looks Compatibility is empowering. Understanding this will help individuals successfully navigate romantic relationships as well as assist parents in child rearing.
Who we choose to marry is one of the most important decisions of our lives. We must make wise choices and help our children make wise choices.
Thank you, Tony. You’re continuously positively contributing to our society.
    God bless you.😇

Example: Michael Jordan married the societal standard twice.
His first wife’s look was being praised & promoted during the time he married her, and his second wife’s look was being praised & promoted when he married her.
Also, Jordan’s son, Marcus, is in a relationship with a woman whose look is being praised & promoted.
Please note that I’m a huge Michael Jordan fan, and in my opinion, he is the the greatest athlete of all time.
      Sooo don’t get it twisted.😌
I don’t have anything against anyone mentioned above.
      This is just an example.😉

TG is 100% correct and knows what he is talking about on this matter. I remember when I was in college this was the early 2000s, and there was a young black man that was attractive and his fiancé she was not attractive based on societal construct of beauty- she was dark skin (think Lupita N complexion) wore glasses, and tall and thin. I was like how are they together? But that young man was seeing her through God’s eye (she was a hard worker, nice and sweet, a Christian). Both were Christian and that taught me a valuable lesson a real man could care less about looks, he wants peace.

The more I have listened to your videos, the more I agree so much. I know how the world sees me and I am fully aware of that. I have put it thru the test and hey, I have to be honest, is real. It takes a real man to really look at women in another way. They are programmed. We can't keep ignoring what you are telling us and you are speaking what it is. Thank you because this was something I had to truly sit with it and accept it and the world judge us women this way and we just gotta keep working on ourselves and continue to be authentic..the rest, God will handle ..

Watching from Kathmandu, Nepal. What you say is so profound and sad at the same time. I own the skin I was born in. And happier for it but had to, over time learn to love my dark skin because societal norms and some men in my community said my complexion was not desired. Thank God, I have a husband of 20 years that loves me the way that I am.
IMO, the degrading concept of colorism has always existed in all societies. I equate it to people comparing blonde vs brunette hair color. While we all have preferences, some act as if blonde hair is a character trait. Therefore, making it seem as if women with blonde hair are more attractive. I think it's completely ridiculous and so superficial. Watched a dating show where, a woman wore a blonde wig but had naturally brown hair. The guy didn't like the brown haired girl but praised the blonde girl. It was the same woman and same convo. What???
Looks become irrelevant when you need someone to care for you on your sick bed or support you when you need it most. Superficiality won't fly with those types of scenarios, Good luck with that. But you know what doesn't fade over time? Love, respect, loyalty and intellect. Thanks for the insight.

DEAR DSBW. YOU are loved. YOU are wanted and you are beautiful. I know its so damn hard to affirm yourself when the world says otherwise but damn it...DECENTER MEN!
What has desirability gotten any woman? Halle Berry, Shakira, Beyonce, Sandra Bullock, Adriana Lima. KENYA MOORE, Mariah Carey. DESIREABility is a depreciating asset that doesnt ensure you will be loved well -just coveted.
Demand respect. Earn it through your accolades and great treatment of yourself.
Desireability does not ensure a long healthy marriage. It ensures that men will beg, borrow, lie and steal to get you inntheir possession. JUST like a damn car. 🙄

This is so true. That’s what I said when I seen them together. His second wife will be looks comparable to him. He is using her. She needs to get that marriage annulled before it gets costly. Women need to start looking at things logically and ask why is he choosing me. Women need to be realistic of how coupling works. As an adult women I would never date a man that looks better than me. I’m glad Tony is talking about this and I liked when you said women need to ask why is he choosing me. I had a guy DM me on IG who’s not what I normally attract. I don’t qualify myself as ugly and my self esteem is healthy. I’ve never had a problem attracting men as a plus woman but I know the normal type that is attracted to me. Even if he’s good looking to others as well, my typical guy is not fine fine. He’s not looking like Simone’s husband. So when the guy DM’d me trying to strike up conversation, off rip I said sir I am genuinely not trying to come off as rude but I’d like for you to state your intentions for messaging me. I believe we can be realistic without downing ourselves. By society standards, I’m not the first pick. If I go out with a group of women, I’m more than likely not gonna be the one a man buys a drink for. I’m ok with that. But I DO know that sis ain’t ugly😂😂😂😂😂 It would unrealistic of me to want a man of a certain status to pursue me just based off my looks alone. My mindset was always this growing up: Imma like who like me😂😂😂😂That doesn’t mean settle but it gave me options which allowed me to even attract men who had some looks on them.

It's so interesting that in a phase of my life where I've been doing a lot of deep inner work around appearance for many different reasons and your video comes out as part of my process to undo what I been taught. I never felt good enough bc every decade had a different standard of what all us women should be in order to please men at the end of the day, be disliked by women as well and it's all just a scam to copycat and buy what we weren't given by God. I started working out and lifting for 10 yrs & often times i've been told i wasn't good enough for not being thick. Accepting myself as i am and naturally enhancing what i have to be it's best is the direction i took despite what society say's. That's why I don't even get on social media anymore bc I realized how nuanced and yet small the scrolling ends up slowly becoming these tid bit of how we begin to form that program. before you know it, your in this unconscious state of making apts to get lip fillers or whatever it is for you as a woman. I had to wake up and realize wait a minute, what am I zombing my way into? Is that where I place my value? And why am energetically, financially that invested into this external aspect of me of which draws men or ppl who end of valuing you and the next for superficial things. Rambling here but Thank you Mr Tony for validating my personal journey of growth.

But I will never stop being me! I don’t little myself and I love dark girls and light girls! We all are beautiful and I’ll never play myself small around nobody who is lighter than me I understand she may have certain advantages because of the skin but I’ll never ever get upset like I use too I understand now! Hi Tony. As an older woman, I wonder how these situations play out and how the women in these situations will feel about their choices as they age. As we as women age, our inner and outer attractiveness is affected by the choices we made when we were younger. I am so grateful for the Lord Jesus Christ, who heals us and teaches us women how to be wise in relationships. This presentation offers another dimension to wisdom, discernment, knowledge and skill in relationships with men. Thank you, Tony.

I don’t date broke or financially unstable men who have nothing much to offer but sweet talk 🍆 and marriage. I will only date a man who is financially on my level or better. I’ll be damned if I date a man who wouldn’t choose me at his best just to say I have someone. I don’t need his money but this is one way I filter out a man who only wants to use me. I’m beautiful and I know I don’t look like the presence. I’d rather be single than be used to better a man for his dream woman. *Drops mic*

You are speaking truth here and I’ve said this before. When I was married(divorced since 2017). My ex was not attractive and people always asked why are u with him. And it’s sad but many would say,”he so ugly.” Buahahhaha but yes the truth is he was a provider and a beautiful mind and heart ♥️ but I was not attracted to him physically. I know now what I didn’t know then. So, coming from an honest person. You are speaking truth here. So, now I know that I do need to at least be attracted to the person and not just spiritual maturity. But all should be aligned mental and spiritual and physically matters. So, yes the majority is that way. And so that’s why I gave it to God to find my mate since you I don’t care about the ways of the a world and the season phases. As long as I’m attracted to him physically as well. I’m good and God will determine who is right for me and who I am right for according to HIS PURPOSE. Because one thing I learned by THE WORD, GOD brings people together for purpose. And I’m allowing HIM to do that. I thought my ex was Gods purpose because he was a pilot and taught me and I thought we would fly around the world and serve God but didn’t happened. 😂 I learned to fly but then realized I had it all wrong. I have to allow Him and also to heal and be whole because I wasn’t then. Second time will be right.

Tony, you also have to take in consideration that people will only stay together if they have the same level of self esteem. If one person has a much higher or lower self-esteem level than the other, they will find a reason to break up because it's too uncomfortable. It's mostly on a subconscious level.

I just want to put this tidbit in the comments section based off of something Tony said during the video, when he mentioned how in 2050, everyone will look racially ambiguous due to self hate. Ironically, during one of my classes this semester, we were talking about dating and we learned about assortative mating which is how you choose your partner(mating/sexual selection) and we typically choose people with similar phenotypes. The irony of this is that negative assortative mating is when we choose people who are the opposite from us, yet it produces more genetic diversity. I thought this was interesting because a classmate and I were studying together and we were wondering why it was considered “negative” assortative mating when opposites get together but idk I just had a full circle moment when Tony brought that up. Anyways, just a little bit of info. Feel free to add anymore info!

So true! The wrong one can damage you. I thought it was wrong, when I was younger, to take into consideration a man assets and that it was superficial and shallow. So. Sexy and broke, was for me don't care, I don't need your money. But never considered why sexy and broke was checking for me? I didn't consider myself as sexy, trauma was leading my thinking and actions for years until counseling. So I figured once he got to know me and saw how awesome I was, he would of course genuinely want me. 😂😂😂😂 Sweet and delusional I definitely was.if you are not his one, nothing can make you his one, but he will settle for you to benefit himself in other ways. And I was like "being with me isn't setting it a come up"😂 still delusional. It is settling for them if you are not their ideal if the ideal women. I want him to be pleasing to my eats and heart and that's a lot harder to find sifting through these media programmed damage fools standing in front of the few good men still out there. Be good to yourself and grow. Your goodness and growth will draw him out. 💯

No-one should be seeking the approval of themselves in others. I feel like that’s truly the first step in avoiding the pitfalls of this whole looks compatibility thing.
