Infinite power for old phone without battery

How can we power old phone without battery using simple and cheap LM2596 DC-DC module from AliExpress.
You will need sun-powered power bank, LM2596 DC-DC step down converter, 10 K resistor and old piece of USB cable.
Time for assembling: 10 minutes.

Will this scenario work on a torchlight 🔦 that use 3x aaa battery by straight convert( by pass the aaa battery)to use usb power bank cord without soldering in step down circuit board. To cool if there’s a diy video.

Is it necessary for you to solder the usb wires? Soldering is difficult for me
