In 2013 I went with a tour group to Italy and Venice was first in the list. We stayed in the Lido and I felt it actually was almost the best part of the trip. If I ever have the chance I will go back to the Lido.

Nice video. I was on the Lido on Friday. That public beach became a private beach in 2020. I had to go about 600 metres to the left to find the free public beach.

Lido di Venezia is underrated for sure .... but on the other hand that is good, because otherwise it would be overcrowded with even more tourists ;-)

Visiting Venice Lido in Oct.2021. staying at Parorama hotel in town,near shuttle from Venice. Great rate.way under$100 nite. Going to bike ride,go over to Venice,Murano other island.cruise Msc to Greece 7 nite $650 total 1 person.back to lido 3 more nites.end of a 2 month trip. Paris 2 weeks,Nice 3 weeks, Cannes 5 nite! Go cheap but go.most rooms have refrigerators.no ice.fly free!!retired fa!life is good!living the dream
