a bit of a longer vlog tonight guys but hey, it's Sunday right? Shout out to the Sikkimese police not to keep my drone, and to Ramboo for the cool ride 🐂
my best bro frenchy looking handsome drive slowly carefully thank you for your huge respect against cpec friendship countries lot of love from your best bro viki 💙
Pierre, the reason the prayer flags are strung up is that when the wind blows, the flags flutter and the prayers are carried by the wind all across the world. That's the concept.
Damn unreal drone shots Pierre is getting better day by day in vlogging all the way to go 100k before Christmas for sure let's show the support people from India he is covering it beautifully
kudos to you frenchy i never came accross a travel vlogger like you. youre vlogs are unique and showcasing parts of india which are so underrated in my opinion.being from goa (south west) i never been to this part of the country its probably bcoz its quiet far plus i think a lot of people underestimate the beauty of notrth east. love the consistency of your vlogs. keep growing brother and have a safe ride.
Clouds on the road and random waterfalls on the way like its nothing special! Unreal is an understatement! What a heavenly place! If there is heaven on earth, here it is!
Visit Arunachal- Tawang,Bomdila,Mechuka and Meghalaya for some really cool lakes,waterfalls,caves,canyons...also try Dzuko Valley, Nagaland, Loktak lake Manipur,Aizawl-a place to chill..
This brings back nostalgia because i went on a Sikkim trip with all my friends in final year of our college and we had so much fun there and the weather was just like this but colder since we went even futher in winter when Tsogmo Lake had frozen over and it was like winter paradise and there was snow and fog everywhere..i still remember the taste of warm maggi soup i had that day...it was something out of a dream and for the first time in my life i had gone over a frozen lake and kind of skated..LOL...also the cloudy roads are still imprinted on my mind, especially the view of sun peeking through the clouds here and there on the road and it looked so magnificent
You have come a long way brother.. A humble request to you.. Please don't leave without visiting NorthEast.. Assam Especially... I am sure you'll be taking our love, care, warmth, and taste of epic dishes with you forever.. 😍 Love from Guwahati, Assam, India❤🙏
I visited tsomgo lake earlier known as Changu lake in 2003 when i was 5 years old Wow what great memories 🧡 thanks man for taking me back in time....... 🧡✌ Funny thing is even then the yaks used to stand at the same spot, nothing's changed 😄
That drone shot was amazing. You have inspired me to visit north-east once more but, this time on a motorcycle. Love how the riders greet each other. Bikers are cool.
Too many restrictions in Sikkim. Even we Sikkimese need a permit to go to Tsongmo lake, the Nathula area, and the entire north district in Sikkim. I am sorry bro. I think the state government and the Indian 🇮🇳 government should work on this issue if they want more tourist-friendly destinations. If you are in Sikkim for some more days then can visit Rumtek monastery, and West Sikkim (Pelling, Yuksum, Dubdi monastery). Best wishes bro👍 Cheers!!!
The local governments cant really do anything as border security is paramount. As long as china has a border with india, i dont see these restrictions easing sadly.
i've been there 4 times in each season 😁. Insanely beautiful roads and views. I think most beautiful in winters when there is snow. But its unfortunate that you won't be able to experience Gurudogmar lake and Zero point. @thevoiceofsikkim do something about it.
Finally you said "chalo chale" instead of chalo chalo..frenchy is a slow learner but don't worry you will get there in next 10 years when you will be completing your India tour😃😃..just kidding..lots of love ❤️
Now that you have seen East Sikkim, you can visit the Goecha la in the West Sikkim, its the base camp of the Mt Kanchanjungha ( world's third largest mountain ). Views are amazing and I'm sure you'll love it.
but NE indian also have indian culture, let me tell you how, they have similar culture with Tibetans and Mount Kailash ( sacred mountain of Hinduism) is in Tibet, that's mean Tibet was part of Bharat( india) in Ancient times..
One more proof is Tibetan Buddhist believes in reincarnation, which is concept of Hinduism... example Dalai Lama and they also worship Kailash Mountain 🗻.
The only result of British Empire colonizing India for 200 years is turning India into another expansionist land grabber regional bullying with a bad relationship with all its neighbors. Arunachal (Zangnan),Sikkim, Leh are all traditional territories of Tibet China but occupied by Indians. Feel very sorry for the Tibetan ethnic people now living there. Their life standards are far lower than the Tibetan of China. Their culture have been invaded by Hindus and endangered of losing it, They live in shabby, dilapidated houses, temples, no job, hunger hunted them, malnutrition, meager children, poor roads, many places without wifi, crowed unclean streets invaded by Hindus and their COWS.
Christmas is coming and you r actually very close to Shillong Meghalaya where you can celebrate your Christmas in cherry blossoms it's the only place in India where cherry blossom blooms and its very beautiful. Reminds me of Korea and Japan.
Hi Frenchy, Nice to see that you enjoyed your ride i went to same location a week or two back i got snow. Nevertheless it doesn’t normally snow during Nov for that you need to visit during Dec or March. Do get in touch if you need any help. Best wishes Ride safe ❤
Same will be frozen in January Pierre i have visited same at fab 22 and just month before today,,wish I could send you some pics when tsomgo lake frozen
No bro they're not laughing at your hindi, a foreigner speaking in our native language makes us genuinely happy and it gives a sense of belongingness :) love your videos, keep exploring and uploading!
Visited this place in 2005 , known as changu lake then...it was all frozen around.. awesome memories...do visit nathula border...and yes permit are required everywhere.... just luv the vibes her...
It's unfortunate that it's almost the middle of November and a quite high elevation 3753 m lake hasn't witnessed snowfall yet. Although the proximity to Bay of Bengal and lower latitude are a determining factor but climate change is very much perceptible.
Nope. It usually snows in december and january and may extend max till february mid. However temperature usually drops below 0 degree in november itself. This is the normal case.
Snowfall can start in December for 1700 meters+ elevations in Northern India. 2500 m+ places in Kashmir have already witnessed (a bit late though) first snowfall of the season during this time. It being a lake and that too at an elevation of 3753m demands at least 5 months of snow cover.
Zuluk is a fabulous place, especially their zigzag road. You can search the internet for the beautiful road. I don't know why foreigners aren't allowed there.
Amazing vlog. After 1 month this lake will be completely frozen. If you go North East don't miss the state 'Meghalaya' it is a hill state. The culture and food are very different like completely different than North India.
Hey! are not planning to visit anywhere in North Bengal? there's so many places worth checking out before you plan on heading to Assam especially Darjeeling and Sandakphu
These places always existed 😳😳atleast i imagine there were roads here since decades but somehow India was got stuck with Just Taj Mahal and snake charmers 🤔🤔🤔🧐☹️😰😰 Sikkim has been part of India since 70s .
@@frenchyvlogs whaaaaaadafaaaak. Sad bro but despite that you're a great traveller. Love your vlogs and can't wait for you to visit South and explore ancient Indian temples and caves. It's quite normal tbh. Snowfall only starts mid December.
Global warming and climate change. The snow lines are way more higher than before
