An enemy I killed asked me if I was noclipping through walls. I dragged his body to the window I jumped through, and said there was scaffolding outside. He apologized. 10/10 player experience.
This one guy was dead and calling out a group of us, so I dragged his body into a corner and started T-Bagging him and soon there was like 15 people bagging this guy lmao. Even he was hysterically laughing
I had a 10 minute talk with the enemy once. The stairs to a building were gone and my squad had a spawn beacon at the top and the enemy was trying to take the building but there was no way for them to get up. We had the most friendly conversation. At the end He said he would give me candy if I came down. My mom says I shouldn’t talk to strangers so I gave him a rocket to the face.
Theres good sportsmanship. My team is rarely not risking it all to revive me. Yestrrday my last game i got in a btr and played it safe and kept going back to base for resupplies and i burned through maybe 1000 rounds and it nearly blew up 5 or 6 times but i went 30 kills 2 deaths and they were deaths from the very beggining od the game when i didnt have a btr. All i did was camp the flag closest to spawn in conquest to stop all the back cappers from screwing up my teams advance. No bush wookies ever came out to blow me up. One the one map with the busted ship i took rhib boat outninto the water and used it as cross map anti air because few people were coming out to get me and i got way better at hitting shots farther out so they got scared to come close. One time they did and itnwas a blackhawk but they went too low and the heli sunk in the water and they were all stuck swimming 😂 it took me forever to hit enough shots to kill them all it was so sad for them i was having a blast. I wish there was shotguns, i wish there was an option for support class to build a more LMG based machine gun nest fox hole. Theres an old game callrf ww2 online and they had a foxhole option where it put a small divet in the ground with a couple sandbags on either side and the m249 has bipod but its low poly so its a but difficult to find decent spots to actually set it up without gstting my head blown off by a sniper with unlimited range and accuracy. So i end up not using m249. It would be cool if there was shotguns and one of them should the the stubby midget from bf3 that wss a 3 shot 12 guage very close up sidearm. Im suprised there isnt benelli m4 or aa12
I killed a guy and he said “nooo i was taking a rip from my bong!!” i walked up to him and talked to him until he despawned and then i died next to him
I think part of the reason for the great community in this game is the lack of daily challenges and battle pass and all that. Players return to the game to have fun, not because they feel obligated, which fosters a better attitude
I will add that when I play the game , death doesn't have a big meaning , I can always respawn quickly. I don't need to wait long or travel much to actually engage in battle again. So it does no make me frustratingly wait long to get in again. Also I don't know how much but most of the players in the community positively respawn you and heal you and are actually doing a proper job of helping.
I quit halo infinite because the game was pushed by devs towards nothing but challenge grinding and muh esports. Fun has been made secondary. When games like this come out, they really shine as an oasis in the desert.
agree that battle passes are for tryhards, and therefore i still don't get why some devs/execs are so obsessed with em as much as shoving BRs into anything that didn't need one
I struggle playing games without buddies to talk to/play with. The greatest part of this game is being able to hop in solo but feel surrounded by buddies due to the proximity chat. It’s such a vibe
Lol i had one game with all RP'ers in it it was the best sht ever, even submitted the clip that top battlebit plays and got featured. "I lost my legs!!! Cant kick little jimmy anymore, if you ever f*** my wife dont turn her back she has spinal surgery" dude this game is GOTY
Its a game the corporate bean counting panderers havent destroyed yet m. 15 bucks and its a ton of bang for buck bro esspecially if it keeps developing
I think it also shows the disconnect between what gamers SAY they want, and what they actually need. If people didn't want crappy, retrogressive yearly COD, it wouldn't sell. I think the general public just didn't realize what it needed was fun gameplay until a little indie game shoved it at them
@bennyb.1742 Thank you! I've said this so much! I found it funny that gamers who usually say stuff like "360 Era graphics" now are also praising this game! Gamers tend to be our own worst enemy because people will complain about stuff they really shouldn't and publishers miss the ENTIRE reason why their game is actually failing
i like the war vibe it gives. the sheer scale of the thing, hundreds of players. You literally have everything. From simple guns to launchers, and helicopters & tanks. Only missing planes, but the map might not be even big enough for them. And the ability to talk to others is just what makes this great.
I love it so much. Proof positive that graphics that can show me the freckles on my enemies neck will never compete with solid gameplay backed by a good community.
EA is too woke to realize anything. They're probably too busy figuring out how to force even more womens and trans rights into their consumers. I'm still waiting to pirate the Dead Space Remake. I will not ever give EA a single cent.
Honestly the chopper moments are always the best. You have one guy making callouts, the pilot playing Freebird, and a dude jumping out screaming “FOR NARNIA”. Most fun I’ve had in a while.
Right?? My first time flying a chopper I was trying to get my fellas the rappel line but I accidentally exited the chopper mid-flight as the pilot. Hearing my fellas scream over VOIP to their unfortunate deaths was truly tragic and hilarious 🤣
127v127 just feels amazing. Its so actionpacked and chaotic. Dorky yet somehow cool visuals, good game- and gunplay AND a fun community. This game just slays. Im almost Rank 100 and still not feelin the urge to stop anytime soon.
The VOIP feature is the funniest thing I have ever experienced in a game. So many good times. I also find that when you die if you make a "death noise" you are far more likely to be found and revived or at least alert your teammates to danger.
I was a beta tester and I'm really really happy that the friendly light hearted silliness is still a big part of the game. The people doing big toxic freakouts on VOIP are generally shunned and it keeps the vibe alive. P.S. Come on buddy, Vector spam meta? You're better than that.
@@KazooieX1 it is that good. its just, youre probably using it without attachments. After 125 kills any gun becomes good. the issues with vector being inaccurate are solved completely once you unlock certain barrels like the supressor. The vector without attachments can shred most ARs. THE ONLY TIME youll die with a vector in hand is if youre against a player that has all the attachments on their M4, or their Ak. it takes 2 ak headshots to kill a player. the ak has a fire rate so low compared to the vector that it is on its 6th bullet by the time Ak has shot 2. EVEN IF THOSE ARE HEADSHOTS the vectors 6 shots to your body still beat it.
@@KazooieX1 whats happening to you, is likely you have just unlocked the vector and do not have the attachments that turn it into a laser. Im talking 200+ meters kills with accuracy. Its not like that when you unlock the gun, its actuallly awful base by itself. Whats likely happening is youve watched videos of players flanking with the Vector, so you go to use it after just unlocking it anf youre going against people that have their guns fully kitted. it goes like this. Vector with attachments > Every other gun in the game M4 with attachments > Base vector
lol its like anyone can help you is also fun also they reward people more to save people ... the theater voice acting by random people is just hilarious xD
I bought this game yesterday and one time I was down, I talk to voicechat "Help, I have wife and kids... Who's gonna feed my cat?" Got a laughing answer and revive :D
MY SOOOOOOULLLLL! God damn it I'm an absolute graphic wh0re but I might have to get over it and try this game. I'm actually still enjoying BF4 and even 2042 (I know I know, cut me some slack) but this seems like one hell of a game
4:46 It helps that if you stick around on a server past a few games, the teams are shuffled. So a person that completely shit on you in a previous round could just as easily be the hero medic that braves withering fire to pull you to safety and get you up and back in the fight. I think that and voice comms are a big part of it.
The pre-match clusters of teammates in spawn always devolves into screaming and monkey noises lmao One match there was about 60 people fighting for a small tunnel Both teams screaming at eachother, explosions everywhere, people dying and being revived by medics profiting off the carnage, people screaming “CHARGE” and then many people following, there was even a child singing the national anthem I love this game
Bought the game today and played a few hours. The funniest moment was when I tried flanking as a recon. So I look through the scope and hear "did you spot anyone yet?" from the enemy who was right behind me. I wasn't even mad yet he still said "sorry bro". Love this game already.
I do that to enemy recons, usually saying "hello how ya doing" and open fire with pistol to at least give them chance to fight back lol (one time i was shot 180° no scope lol)
Ended up in a bit of a scruffle with my pants down and we ended up trading. [He killed me but bled out immediately after] We were just chatting for like 10s before his medic came and picked him up. He asked if he could do anything and I said drag me outside so I can see the sun. He dragged me out and said "May you find peace."
It goes to show, a reduced graphic setting for a development can actually increase the games other variables to greatness, and all from indie makers, inspiration manifest.
I personaly think the art style plays a big part in why the community has been so wholesome. It's hard to truly sweat in a game that looks like roblox so people are just more inclided to have fun
Lowkey gamers are so happy to have a no frills fun-focused fps game that they're in too good of a mood to be toxic. Especially when everyone in proximity chat is just RPing and memeing.
It would be interesting to see the stats of this game. Maybe players who were looking for this type of game simply ... matured? I know, wishful thinking.
The beta was also really solid. Whoevers doing the building really put heart and soul in it bro. If battlefield made it id probably be getting 2 fps on my old dinosaur laptop, although it would look better because they have the budget for optimization. The chinese could barely optimize pubg bro. And its so so much uglier 😂😂😂😂 its like scary how ugly it is.
Lmao its more of a complete and polished product than battlefield 2042 was after 8 fck8ng months! Man tthats when i jumped into 2042 and they STILL had game changing updates. Literally old map reworks, huge nerfs, and actuallu changing controls for 0 reason. I dont even know 1 thing in battlebit that might need a fix. maybe 1 map needing more destroyable walls lol
@@nicholasholloway8743 The game has good vehicle controls, tons of intentionally destructible terrain, stable servers hosting 250 players a map, and only minor balance issues. As someone learning how to develop games, graphics are the only easy part to make here, as even triple A games can fuck up terrain collision for something that isn't altered throughout the map.
a 10/10 video about a 10/10 game. Honestly, Battlebit is one of those games where you can play, get the snot beaten out of you and lose, and still have endless amounts of fun and feel good after the match ends. Battlefield used to be that way back in the BF3 days. I have quit playing these kinds of games a long ass time ago, like during Battlefield 1. I just lost interest in BF games and same with Call of Duty, but I'm considering getting Battlebit cause it looks like the fun me and my old Battlefield clan/platoon used to have.
I think a part of the friendlier community could be due to no battle pass or weekly challenges maybe? With literally no fomo in the game nobody is stressing about "gotta complete X thing before Y time" so they can just focus on playing the game and having FUN. Tis just a theory though.
I can see your point. This guy makes a good point. If you cam buy gold camo for a dollar you dont have to grind challenges as a grown human being that has a job and little time. You spend your little time enjoying not grinding. Im in it for the fun man i want to see my teammates head explode sometimes
most fps game right now has some kind of "force progression" to keep players engage with daily challenge, ranked, battlepass, etc. in which making it a chore. Battlebit removes that and let the community engage you by VOIP nor rewarding you for every choice you make.
@@monarchyyyy Progression in battle bit is get kills with guns. Thats how ya unlock the sights. Though you can just do C4 memes by slapping them to a humvee and ramming a tank.
@@davidty2006 yes, i know and its better than forced progression. Battlebit gave you an option to play it whatever playstyle you like. unlike COD that tells you to kill someone while crouching, sliding, prone, etc and that's forced progression because you're forced to do that to progress.
This game feels bizarre to me. Because I never stopped sporadically playing MW2 and BF4. So this fresh air everyone else is getting I'm still acclimated to. BF4 still has an active community!
I think this is the reason why I like this game a lot. I haven't played any Battlefield game after 4, cause of life in general, and it has kind of a Planetside "feel" of hundreds of players in roughly one area. I personally love this and it's great
The graphics and voice chat keep people grounded in the "it's just a game have fun don't take it seriously" and the gameplay is good enough to actually want to keep playing. It's fantastic, a personal highlight was a medic running about with "sexual healing" basting in prox chat as he revived people XD it's the only fps I've played in a long time people actually can just have a laugh in and not constantly get way too invested and scream at each other

I think you hit the nail on the head. When more people are having fun and communication is open, toxicity kind of just weeds itself out. Take Deep Rock Galactic, for example. They provide a very easy way to build camaraderie and keep it light hearted and fun, and its got one of the *best* multiplayer communities out there. I don't know if battlebit took a page from there or not, but the result is clear. People are just wanting to have fun.
Na it's just old school battlefield/CoD/Halo days. Even WoW too. Toxicity as you said, weeded itself out, because despite the seriousness of some players ruining the fun. The games were genuinely silly and a lot of fun.
hahah no you just get banned in this game for mean words You can see people getting banned every other minute for racism/toxicity/politics Twitter game
I don'[t know man. Sometimes toxicity can make memories. I miss the insane people of the MW2 lobbies where their insults and pettiness ended up being hilarious. I dislike this overbearing mother culture we developed where everything we say or do is being monitored for any slight offense. I think people should be treated as adults and if someone is being unsavory, we can mute them.
I think the other factor is the large team sizes and map sizes. Most multiplayer games are small team (5~ per team) so a bad teammate or a an enemy thats killing you over and over can get very frustrating. In Battlebit you'll only encounter the same enemy a few times per game and you can try and blame a teammate for a loss when you have anywhere from 16-128 teammates. Plus its fast to respawn/get healed and get back into the action so you rarely spend much time dwelling on a death and the queue times are fast so you rarely spend time dwelling on a loss (also theres no ranked so who really cares if you lose).
@@Devin7ElevenI am usually Kind but french people bring me to the edge. Just threatened one to in invade their country if they dont stfu 💀 sometimes we need that kind of talk, because sometimes you got a French guy moaning into your voice chat

Honestly, as someone who put thousands of hours into Battlefield 4 to the point of really not giving a sh1t about the most recent BF games (either because I wanted a modern-based shooter oooor because I legit cannot run them with my PC), jumping to BattleBit has been a BLESSING! It is SO GOOD!
I was playing on the desert map (I just installed and forget the name) but my friends and I were fighting another squad across some roofs that were close enough we could hear each other. One of the assault guys on my team pushed up and died, but we could hear them say they were willing to make a trade for my teammate. All we had to do was let them camp the roof and they’d drag our teammate over for us. They did, we let them camp, and peace was achieved. I had never had such a wholesome and peaceful moment in a game.

The funniest and most surreal thing I had in this game is when both teams stormed a 2-storey building, clashed on the 1st floor. With about 40 bodies lying there in a 3x3m room and screaming for medic, making gargling sounds , etc.
This is a pretty fun game, im into mil sims and less into arcade shooter and honestly this is a perfect balance when I am not looking to spend hours in a milsim but still want a lot of the features in a game just to have some random fun in.
It reminds me of the good days when you could have voice chats with people in games and it was fun and constructive and you made friends, instead of just turning in to a competition to see who could say the most sexist or the most racist or the most homophobic thing that day.
I think the Roblox style used also makes the voice chat friendlier. It’s a game where you don’t fell obligated to take it seriously which removes a lot of the toxicity in other voice chats.
Seeing 30+ people laying on the bridge then running passed screaming PUSH and seeing everyone get up and charge making monkey noises is honestly the best❤️ I love this game❤
One of my favorite things I’ve seen so far from this game is the devs themselves. Coming from a genre where large studios and their developers feel disconnected from the player base, this games devs are active and helpful on socials, and the game features a really neat and extensive feedback feature for maps and other aspects.
This reminds me a lot of the Planetside 2 community which for all the craziness during the massive battles it was for the most part a fun community with little toxicity. The gameplay of Battlebit reminds me a lot of that game and the more vids I see of it the more I think I may pick up a copy and start a new addiction.
I used to play FPS games all the time but now I’ve stopped since it felt like the good old days of lobby chat and voice chat were gone. Playing CoD or Battlefield feels so sterile when no one is chatting and when someone does chat it feels like such a rare occurrence. Battle Bit has reminded me that I love talking and interacting with people online, I really do miss communication like this and making Lobby friends for life ❤
this. I can honestly say I haven't had as much fun with a multiplayer FPS since I was 15 playing battlefield on my Xbox. I actually returned 2042 and the last COD game I bought was BO3 lol, this is such a breath of fresh air
I mean, people DO talk all of the time in COD lobbies.. it's just everyone making monkey noises and yelling the N word over and over again though. But seriously I miss the Xbox 360 days when I could hop on Gears of War 1 multi-player and meet some cool guys
CoD still has hella active people in voice chat compared to other games. I rarely play CoD but when I do, the voice chat always feels like the old days
While there is a “meta” in the game, it doesn’t punish players for playing how they want and instead rewards them. You can get xp from headshots on snipers, reviving teammates, or even just driving a car. I think that’s what makes the game so great.
I remember playing this game a couple of months back during some playtesting sessions, and during one match, I forgot which map, it was full on chaos and there was destruction pretty much all-around. Like at the end of the match, there was pretty much no cover at all and the map was almost unrecognizable. You couldn't even tell where the enemy was cause explosions were goin' off constantly everywhere, and both enemy and friendly fire was constantly passin' by you. Sometimes, I was just a couple of steps away from the enemy and neither of us knew about it till one of us tried advancing and got absolutely shredded. Sometimes I had to lay down and stop moving so I could figure out 'the hell was goin' on. Shit was amazing.
just feels amazing to play a game and have it feel like a social experience again I'm not always on the voip but it's so fun to have friendly exchanges with enemies, feels like good source game community servers
I haven't had this much fun in a shooter in ages. Honestly, I haven't even bothered to play a shooter in ages. I love the combination of a certain degree of realism and tactical combat with an overall sense of not taking itself too seriously.
I've been a Battlefield fanboy since 1942, and it's just unfathomable how a multi-million dollar company is so disconnected from what people want. I understand companies have to turn a profit, there's no such thing as a 'free', but god dammit I have been waiting for something like Battlebit for a long time, I hope it continues to improve and give us that grade A battlefield experience
Shareholders and a board control the company, I can promise the devs know what people want. The devs are told what to make by the board with no say. I know it's anecdotal but My cousin worked on BF3 up until 2042 when he quit. They pay very well but he said the fight the devs have to put up is a long lost battle and not worth the stress when he just wants to make good games again.
right now between the three individual developers (excluding expenses and costs of hosting the game), they've each made about 9 million dollars, 27 million in total from selling 1.8 million copies at $15. Insane life changing shit going on behind that discord.
I'll be honest, the battlebit community is one of the best communities I've ever had the pleasure to play with. They are actually extremely nice. Complete opposite experience than the one I had when playing Squad
For a game like battlebit, its meant to be a more casual shooter with amazing meme potential. If you look at games where people are toxic usually there is a ranking system involved and the games point is to be competitive, it becomes a sport at that point. But with battlebit ofc u wanna play well but the result doesnt matter that much, its more so to enjoy the process and its easy to do so, where as in games like cs go or valorant, league, etc its more about the end result. I think thats the biggest difference in why battlebit has way less toxicity than in other games
my favorite thing about voice chat is running around then all of the sudden you hear extremely loud fortunate son or arab music blasting from someone’s mic 😭😭
The sheeple saying "you dont know how to drive" every time 😂😂😂. Dang thing doesnt have blind spot monitoring bro its a btr. The brakes take 100 meters to stop it it weights a ton its a troop carrier. I wish more people would load up because it carriers a whole squad so you csn really put a lot of firepower in one vehicle. It literally floats
This just goes to show that a game doesn't have to look godly. It just needs to stand out from everything else. I love this game. And it just goes to show that a 3 man dev team can tackle what a AAA has been struggling to do. And not even that. This game has motion blur turned off by default I MEAN LETS GO!!!! I wish nothing but the best for this team. And if another AAA game of this nature comes out and says "oh no we can't do that, and heres a season pass instead." I would just laugh and point at battle bit. Fuck you EA and Acti/Blizz. You can learn a thing or two from this game.
My favourite games this year are Battlebit, Armored Core 6, and Baldurs gate 3. All of those games look like they might have been able to come out on the previous generation, and it didnt end up mattering at all becuase the games are actually fun.
I really like the options for more tactical play, because the game, in all the chaos of 127 vs 127, still has excellent mechanics that lend themselves to tactical gameplay. It's really all around a very polished experience. I can honestly say I've never seen a game release to early access with this level of polish from the gate. It feels (almost) completely finished. And they're apparently planning on adding mil sim modes, and plenty of other content to come. This game could sell for 40+ and I'd think that's fair lol
The honor in the player base is amazing, I play a sniper exclusively and on SandySunset or whatever the big desert map is called I had a very honorable match where I fought essentially only 1 guy for the whole match making 1900~m shots from many different spots. I of course still killed people on objectives but me and this dude just went at it and we were in the chat having an absolute blast. Best game I have played in a good while
For me, it's the true feeling of FUN pick-up/put-down gameplay in Battlebit. All of the recent AAA titles have either been lacking in features, game modes, or incomplete; which makes it a chore to enjoy the core gameplay experience. Battlebit (in early access) feels like a completely functional game.
As Frankie once said about modern shooters "I just look at my teammates as cattle to the slaughter". The voip in this is so good you really do humanize every player in this game.
Yeah, it is especially fun when some enemy dies when he try to push or something. And they still keep good vibes and have laugh. Thats not normal for fps shooters.
the VOIP is hilarious; just whispering things like "BOOOO YOU SUCK BOOO" as youre dead surrounded by enemies always leads to hilarious convos with the other team
I'm a big proponent of the tactical cat noise. When dead, wait a sec then start meowing. The enemy looks at you, gets wasted by your buddies and then you get rezed
I ran this game on potato pc, Night time and on District Domination and played a specific strategy where i play support and spam claymores in patches of grass or places hard to see, at the end i had 104 kills without firing a single bullet, going back n' forth to objectives since the majority of the player at night go at groups to take objectives it was like back n forth taking objectives. At the end i had so much fun. In my other games even building strategic fortress with your friends/squad around the enemy borders, is just very rewarding. the different kinds of play makes memorable moment.
I was a pretty good helu pilot in Squad for a while. Even though it's a shooting game, the heli is so much fun. A good heli pilot gets so much respect in Squad.
Just bought the game last night. Couldn't refuse it because of the hype and for a pleasant change of pace all the clammer was well worth it. Super fun game and fun community. I did have a few "rude" people, but the VAST majority of players are there for the exact same reason as you. To have a great time on this shockingly fun blocky battle sim! From massive infantry fire fights to crashing the backlines in an APC or lining in from a Blackhawk this game is crazy in every way it's meant to be. A solid 9/10 and would highly recommend giving it a go.
One thing I do worry about is if they can maintain the servers. At one point sales will plateau and without any other form of monetization the games income will dwindle. If they at least sold cool vehicle skins or redesigns or special armor skins I wouldn't mind, especially if it was extremely low cost, like $1 skins would be fine with me if it helped them supplement the cost to keep the servers running.
the way we used to do avoid "a game's income dwindling because of lack of monetization" in game dev was we made another banger / expansion pack. and if it failed, you went broke and found another job. yeah i know, what a weird thought in 2023, not relying on predatory microtransactions.
@@Nick_Whiskey Which would work but they’ve already committed to free dlc so if this game wants to have any sort of longevity it needs some other form of monetization. I have no problem when monetized games are done with low costs, it’s when they start charging $30 for skins that there’s a problem.
4:20 it's also the fact that the game has a giant warning about toxicity and the potential for being banned if you break the rules. The devs have done a good job of moderating the community and ostracizing the toxicity.
@@weplaywax Shame, shame is a great tool. When they make a ban wave, they post the names in general chat for everyone to see. You dont want to be the a-hole that everyone knows is toxic when everyone is having fun.
The voice chat in this game has made for genuine fun time even when killing or getting killed being able to yell and drag people around is awesome and it seems like more people work together on battle bit then battlefield
BattleBit is a solid game without absurd design choices, bad mechanics players hate, and does everything players wanted in a game like this. Combined with the aesthetic, people are much more into it and generally happier than other games. Some games like Red Orchestra Vietnam have had happy players role playing before, but BattleBit does this without a theme to attach to. It's easy to play, easy to drop in for a match, runs well, and provides more than any other Battlefield/Squad style game since Battlefield 2 Special Forces.
Battlefield never had voip bro. Even the top g bf3 didnt have voip. And they rarely added guns too the rpg was the only rpg and this game they even give you the antipersonel oriented rpg warhead. It would be nicd if i could split it ans carry 1 tandem warhead, 1 personel warhead, or 1 regular warhead. Or any combination
This game solves a problem I've had with Battlefield since 3, and that's just excessive amounts of dust and bloom getting in the way of seeing what the hell is happening on the screen.
Voip definetly makes things fun and immersive- hearing people play romanian music, going monkey mode at the beggining of the game or well "My apendix has fallen out" . And well, talking with enemies is also cool (especially when drag player away works even if it's an enemy player)
A massive thing for me is being able to mute player so easily tbh, some games you have to navigate menus and remember usernames, but if someone's being offensive or spamming too much, just press F1 or report the, 😂😂 I should add that I've only had to mute a few players in my entire experience so far, it's been an extremely fun and wholesome environment as far as FPS games are concerned. I've encountered no racists so far, which is actually insane if you ever played FPS games in the old days lol
I think that is because your death in the match doesn't matter a whole lot and it is more or less an expected outcome so people are not really mad about dying. Also not having to run to the fight for half an hour probably affects it as well (meaning you are always in the fight so you don't spend as much effort to get your share of fun)
Thats what happened to that old gsme ww2 online. They wanted the biggest map ever yet only 500 people playing on a given night if that so you run for hours and see no one and you wonder who the hell is even paying the bills keeping the place running all these years
I am part of that 2mil players and i enjoy. Its so fun and way more people play the types of roles and enjoy playing them. Meds are the best and people just have fun and mess around. $15 is what helps too. Its silly and serious and even feels intense. People are always nice and goofy. Nothing feels forgotten and so much feels made with love. Id pay more for it tbh. Im happy for those 3 devs. Also those helicopter crashes feel like black hawk down.
I wish I had a squad as solid as yours. Even the worst players can dominate when they have a few homies at their back that actually know how to communicate.
im certain one of the main reasons the game is so friendly is because there is a lack of predatory marketing fomo or bullshit challanges you have to do. any of the above just creates frustration and usually people release it on others without noticing
Honestly so far I've been ignoring the upgrade system, not because I want to but because I just want to hop in games immediately, maybe I should check it
4:30 Something similar happens with rising storm Vietnam. Even if you tem kill people is just like "nah its ok, just keep burning everyone" énfasis on EVERYONE.
Amazing video dude. I'm so jealous. I have the bad habit of being a serious person, and taking every game i play super competitively, and while i may be very good, I forget most of the time that i'm here to have fun. I have always wanted to have a more lighthearted attitude to be able to make videos like this.
My guess to why squad doesn't have mag repacking is because it is aiming to be a hyper realistic shooter and repacking mags would take forever to actually do in a tactical situation while in battlebit it is fairly quick.
It would take ten minutes at the most. Really doesn't take that long especially emptying. I'd say the in-raid speed to load mags in Tarkov is fairly accurate. About a second for each round to be loaded. Some people can do it even faster.
If you're trying to knock out 15 rounds from one mag and load them into another that won't even take you 30 seconds. With magical health boxes able to heal gunshot wounds instantly you can really bump it down to 5 seconds and still feel reasonable.
I think the reason this game is soo good is that medic is fun, u really get to larp a combat medic, i remember in the beta where there were epic last stands where a bunch of guys with a few medics (i pretty much exclusively played medic) were trying to keep the entire thing togheter. When playing medic is fun, everything else has to be fun
me and this random literally made a last stand in the building and we both used voice chat, literally one of the best gaming experiences ever as we were screaming and holding our ground as the enemy rushes in and break through walls
Man this game reminds me so much of Unturned war RP servers that were popular couple of years ago. The artstyle, the community, the chillness it's all there albeit more defined. Definately gonna try it out! Update: I bought it and played two rounds. I have to say that so far the game is very fun, and I reckon that once I'll hone skill, the experience will be even better! I certainly recommend it.
Thanks for getting me in to Arma. Today (I think) marks the four year anniversary since I've started watching your channel. Hope you make 2 Million by the end of the year Commander.
It'd be cool if they added a zombies mode that has a survivors team that just tries to survive with limited resources, and a military team that has to find and extract the survivor team, and they work together
I think I have a good generalized view of why I like Battlebit so much. Its honestly just the way the game plays as a whole, because the gunplay and the mechanics of the game are amazing and realistic and have a good balanced feel to them, but the gameloop is so much more casual then games like ARMA so it allows for a more enjoyable experience. Like yes I want the guns and the mechanics to feel good and realistic, but I don't want to have to hike 30 miles every time I die... This style of arcade like gamemode combined with guns and the mechanics being more realistic means I spend less time worrying about making the most of each life and more of just having fun experiencing the game in general. In short the good mechanics and quick respawns mean I spend less time hiking and traveling and more time actually experiencing the fun that the game has to offer. Also proximity chat should be in every game, it's just too much fun.
this is exactly why i have uninstalled Squad about 10 times lol. I can still manage a lil Hell Let Loose, it doesnt seem as bad as Squad. I refuse to waste my time on it again. My buddy streamed the squad update for me last night, i literally watched him run for 10 min die run 10 min hahaha, i was like yup, just as i remembered it. im good thanks.
@@MethbillyBattlebit is definitely more battlefield than cod, I mean hell last time I played MW2 I felt my braincells fading away as I basically just ran around the map brainless with a sniper or AR, and yes I get your point that I used realistic more then it really applies, I guess a better word for it would be immersive. The fact that the ammo system is much more complex. The bullet drop and velocity being much more normal rather then overexaggerated like cod and battlefield have a tendency to do. I realize that I probably went a bit overboard with the praise for the game, but come on, you try and tell me the game isn't more fun then it has any right to be considering its a $20 game with only 3 devs and yet we get triple A studios releasing the same COD or BF game every year or two. I just think its a nice change of pace to see a game like this that actually shows life is still left in the arcade shooter genre.
@@Methbilly lol so it has cod TTK so therefore it’s cod, also the class system is basically just battlefields class system don’t know what ur on about. “Everyone is a medic with c4 and smg.” What do you mean by that? Not every class has smg, and no class other than medic allows health regen… and if you mean that medic is the only class anyone plays that’s just not true, sure it might be the “meta pick” but it’s definitely not the only class that people play. If you actually think this game is nothing like battlefield you are actually intentionally ignoring half the game. Like if you don’t like the game that’s fine, but don’t sit here and act like the game isn’t anything like a game that shares 85% of the key mechanics…
I think the heavily involved moderation is a big part of the high quality of communication. AAA games seem to leave 0 resources dedicated to moderation, so of course the worst examples are allowed to proliferate. Battlebit's zero-tolerance policy for abusive communications ensures there are real consequences. The lack of moderation in general across the web is a big problem, and I think the success of Battlebit is really illustrative: if we just decide to put our collective foot down and reject abusive behavior online (and the admins of online spaces actually follow through), we can enjoy much higher quality online spaces together.
Exactly. In your very first match after opening the game, the game tells you that you can and will be banned if you have bad behaviour towards other players.

Battlebit has the Team Fortress 2 effect - the game's style is so silly and fun that the all-chat remains civil and friendly. I only ever encounter a tryhard or rager on a rare occurrence. It's what makes the game feel refreshing to me.
best part about Battlebit is that you never felt playing it alone. Unlike Warzone nor Battlefield, you actually surrounded by people that communicate with you and actually keeping the fun vibes during the match. Perfect game when your boys is sleeping, and you still want to have some fun with someone.
you seem intolerable lol maybe projecting cuz u have no friends yourself? no one with a life or good personality would be replying to everyone bashing them
Personal experience from yesterday, VOIP very much humanizes opponents and just the other night turned a frustrating fight to dislodge a pair of stubborn snipers from open ground into a fairly exciting back and forth gunfight with plentiful banter. It was all the more satisfying to dive into the barricade-bunker and clear their spawn point as a result of the exchange of semi-friendly insults each time one of us died (and made it quite fun when we ended up in the same squad next match)

Im suprised there isnt benelli m4 or aa12
if you are ever in that situation reversed just build a wall and you can make it up
The banter when the stairs are gone and people is bunkering in the ceiling is absolutely wonderful.
Fucking preach!!!!!!!!!!!! SAY IT OUT LOUDER FOR THE ONES IN THE BACK!
and no bonuses for completing round or sth, if I feel I'm tired I drop off, if I feel like playing again I drop in.
agree that battle passes are for tryhards, and therefore i still don't get why some devs/execs are so obsessed with em as much as shoving BRs into anything that didn't need one
I struggle playing games without buddies to talk to/play with. The greatest part of this game is being able to hop in solo but feel surrounded by buddies due to the proximity chat. It’s such a vibe
A agree such fun
damn I might have to give it a shot then
Its just like how old COD and Halo games had casual lobbies full of people talking with mics. those were the days
Agreed, fun goofing around with the boys (and gals) in VOIP it does make it feel more personal and enjoyable
This game is symbolic of the disconnect between what games players want and what games developers make.
I think the general public just didn't realize what it needed was fun gameplay until a little indie game shoved it at them
He said while all the usual recycled AAA trash still makes millions every year cause people do in fact want it
@bennyb.1742 Thank you! I've said this so much! I found it funny that gamers who usually say stuff like "360 Era graphics" now are also praising this game! Gamers tend to be our own worst enemy because people will complain about stuff they really shouldn't and publishers miss the ENTIRE reason why their game is actually failing
@@bennyb.1742I don't think they want COD it's just the only product available in the space.
i like the war vibe it gives. the sheer scale of the thing, hundreds of players. You literally have everything. From simple guns to launchers, and helicopters & tanks. Only missing planes, but the map might not be even big enough for them. And the ability to talk to others is just what makes this great.

The VOIP feature is the funniest thing I have ever experienced in a game. So many good times. I also find that when you die if you make a "death noise" you are far more likely to be found and revived or at least alert your teammates to danger.
I always do a Aargh or Oooouch on reflex lol
It's sad that this is being treated as a new feature. Has it really been gone that long?

P.S. Come on buddy, Vector spam meta? You're better than that.
Vector is gonna get nerfed I guaranree. theyre gonna make it to where it can only kill in a certain range
Vector is so annoying as hell. I get lasered at a pretty good distance
Vector isn't even that good lmao.
Vector with attachments > Every other gun in the game
M4 with attachments > Base vector

The amount of times I’ve heard “MEDIC!!” Or people saying “MY LEGS! HELP” is a sign the developers have done something great 😂

It helps that if you stick around on a server past a few games, the teams are shuffled. So a person that completely shit on you in a previous round could just as easily be the hero medic that braves withering fire to pull you to safety and get you up and back in the fight. I think that and voice comms are a big part of it.
The pre-match clusters of teammates in spawn always devolves into screaming and monkey noises lmao
One match there was about 60 people fighting for a small tunnel
Both teams screaming at eachother, explosions everywhere, people dying and being revived by medics profiting off the carnage, people screaming “CHARGE” and then many people following, there was even a child singing the national anthem
I love this game

@@YouCanCallMeReTro honestly, this is what made older FPS games fun. You don't truly have fun with a game like this if they're not social.
It's not even the art style. I'd play BF3 the same way.

@@nicholasholloway8743 The game has good vehicle controls, tons of intentionally destructible terrain, stable servers hosting 250 players a map, and only minor balance issues.

The games were genuinely silly and a lot of fun.
hahah no you just get banned in this game for mean words

I definitely feel less tilted when people can talk to me on either side. The voip has absolutely been one of my favorite things in my game
And also everyone is in a chat that isnt proximity.
It reminds me of the good days when you could have voice chats with people in games and it was fun and constructive and you made friends, instead of just turning in to a competition to see who could say the most sexist or the most racist or the most homophobic thing that day.
I think the Roblox style used also makes the voice chat friendlier. It’s a game where you don’t fell obligated to take it seriously which removes a lot of the toxicity in other voice chats.
agreed
Bingo. The aesthetic is why people are friendly. Once you have a gritty war torn environment, people get serious
It also discourages toxicity because people would feel stupid if they rage at people in a Roblox shooter
and because it's a paid game.

One of my favorite things I’ve seen so far from this game is the devs themselves. Coming from a genre where large studios and their developers feel disconnected from the player base, this games devs are active and helpful on socials, and the game features a really neat and extensive feedback feature for maps and other aspects.
I wonder how bug the team is. And if any of them died suspiciously

I recommend tf2 for voice chat, there's pretty much always a couple ppl talking
@@o-manthehuman7867 I find it pretty dead there as well :/ Community servers are the way to go for that.

I've been absolutely obsessed with this game! so much fun playing with everyone and getting to yell at people whilst bleeding out
I remember playing this game a couple of months back during some playtesting sessions, and during one match, I forgot which map, it was full on chaos and there was destruction pretty much all-around.
THIS IS WAR!!! 😂😂😂
The voice chat is the best thing in the game. It gives a feel of community and most people are very friendly.

They've lost sight of the core of what drives every game: gameplay.
damn bro how old are you
It’s these woke corporate consulting companies driving ridiculous policies at the detriment of companies. Look at bud light
Gawddamn, didn’t know DICE made games back then
Shareholders and a board control the company, I can promise the devs know what people want.
Squad and Arma players are all wanna be operator neckbeards tbh
For a game like battlebit, its meant to be a more casual shooter with amazing meme potential. If you look at games where people are toxic usually there is a ranking system involved and the games point is to be competitive, it becomes a sport at that point. But with battlebit ofc u wanna play well but the result doesnt matter that much, its more so to enjoy the process and its easy to do so, where as in games like cs go or valorant, league, etc its more about the end result. I think thats the biggest difference in why battlebit has way less toxicity than in other games
Long story short, it doesn't take itself seriously. Just look at it 😁
That is not true you can literally see people getting banned for being toxic every minute

I can't stop playing it. Super addicting and I love the 127 vs 127 battles, total chaos and gives you a lot of freedom to play how you want.

A massive thing for me is being able to mute player so easily tbh, some games you have to navigate menus and remember usernames, but if someone's being offensive or spamming too much, just press F1 or report the, 😂😂
I should add that I've only had to mute a few players in my entire experience so far, it's been an extremely fun and wholesome environment as far as FPS games are concerned.

Honestly this game is the only reason why I came back to fps games. This most fun I've ever played in my life I really felt like a child playing this.
It takes longer to repack different guns too. You can repack pistol mags faster than lmg boxes
The moderation is professional. This is no discord level censorship
to *go there*, to enforce actual moderation of toxic behavior is a much stronger case of exercising free speech than it is to let these people exist.
Exactly. In your very first match after opening the game, the game tells you that you can and will be banned if you have bad behaviour towards other players.
