Even without a flywheel mine runs beautifully. Bachmann did a great job on her
Emily looks great, especially with her coaches she's pulling!

For a small model she looks really detailed
Emily is a nice model for the most part. However, she does have some flaws in terms of the mechanism.
Unlike the other characters in the range, she doesn't have a flywheel attached to her motor, which would have improved her slow speed running ability greatly.
Something else that would have been a great help was Bachmann could have had her trailing pony truck be part of the drive mechanism with pick-ups, instead of relying on just the drive wheel and half of the leading bogie.
Emily is very well molded from her original HO model to N Scale size, and feels very pre-CGI at that.
Sorry about how your layout has been causing trouble for the recent released engines, as changing up radius curves could help keep them secured on the tracks.
Any word on Henrietta, btw?
I have asked my supplier - they haven't got her in yet.
It's a shame Emily isn't a great runner, but she still looks excellent nonetheless.
I was able to get her set for 360 aud on eBay can't wait to get her but very expensive
I would very much like to own a model of her but based on your review, I have mixed feelings about it. Still, Emily and James make a cute pair.

The way I see it bachmann first off need to make Gordon’s leading wheels have a tighter radius
And Emily just being better or refund those who had her before and keep her away until 2026 to fix them issues and then release henry with the tighter turning bogie wheels and re release a fixed Emily of more power !
Ermm actually 🤓🤓👆 Henry was the one who called Gordon “fat face” *snorting sounds*
@@MaxwellTheTrainFan The curves I have used are the 'mini' curves so they're not designed for bigger engines - it's not Bachmann's fault in this case
