This is strangely nice. On the whole G / O scale I'm pretty sure. i was asking Lionel for their O scale models, but I'm thinking back 10 years. I remember seeing a O Scale Thomas at a Brick Pit train show. As history tells Lionel couldn't help me obtain their amazing models. This looks very nice and NOW I WANT ONE. Yes I agree this is one of the best AEG models and train sets.
This Model is really accurate to the AEG version. While I do wish that Lionel would do both Original Series and AEG stuff to give people an option, the AEG model looks so much more faithful to AEG than the original Lionel Thomas did to the Original Series version of Thomas.
This set is very cool! Thomas looks just like he does in AEG. I didn't know that Annie and Clarabell have different coulored eyes and different patterns. Great job on this review! Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for the video...i I wanted to buy this for my grandson (8yr) but i couldn't find any detailed information about it! I purchased for him for Christmas because i found your review which addressed all my questions which #1 was would it run on low pile carpet! He LOVES Thomas even though Sonic has invaded his world but i wont let him loose his innocent love for Thomas. Can't wait for him to open Xmas morning!!!! THANKS AGAIN😊
My biggest gripe with the set is that the couplers are hanging too low which makes it impossible to connect to other Rolling Stock to solve this problem you might need to raise them up to match the height
I love it, but it feels so wired. If it was cgi series, I’d say it’d be Lionel’s best product ever!! However, I am grateful we even got an affordable Thomas WITH a working water based SMOKE FOR UNIT!!
Despite it’s based off the crappy reboot, I still want to get it because I’m a sucker for toys/models steam trains that blows real steam and plus I always wanna get a lional train set when I was a kid.
@@vincentn7264 I've seen toy trains make steam before but this one is actually very good - and perhaps better than some of my HO Märklin steam engines in that regard

@@isaiahvang144 they've announced a few times they're not doing AEG - I also don't think the age group is right (no kids have grown up with AEG enough to buy real model trains yet)
This is a joke...NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!!!! If this rendition of Thomas were real, I would look at his coaches and say, "What're Those????" Low-key they look like if James May's Shed was in Underground Ernie.... If a full-grown Caillou and Annabelle the Dummy got together, Those two would be their lovechildren.

This set is great. I’m definitely excited to see if Lionel makes other characters like Percy.

It looks so absolutely hideous, but its so accurate! I just wish they put this effort into the old version, as that would've been great.
@@1471SirFrederickBanbury yeah having to start again made them actually try 🤷♂️
I wish Lionel could make a more faithful version of the original Thomas for their O gauge Thomas model
That’d be wonderful, I wish they can do both canons.

imagine if Lionel actually started making other characters in O Gauge instead of re-releasing theyre christmas thomas
