    It should be noted that there are two conflicting reports about Dorothy Dandridge's cause of death. In the video I mention accidental drug overdose, however it has also been suggested that she died of a rare embolism.

    One thing I noticed on a few of the graves is that rather than, "great actor" or "character name" they've chosen to have their military rank and service branch noted. Despite the fame, they wanted people to know they served their country. Very cool.

    • @JennaLeigh
      @JennaLeigh 6 років тому +56

      NILDA RODRIGUEZ I've been looking into it, just out of curiosity, and I've found that numerous graves may go unmarked for a few reasons: 1) if the actor or actress was Jewish, there is a tradition that a temporary marker stand for 1 year after death. After that 1 year, they get a proper marker. Or 2) the deceased was old and preceded in death by family and friends, leaving no one to look after the headstone/marker. Sometimes families purposely keep graves unmarked out of a desire to keep the final resting place private. They may do this out of a desire to keep knowledge of the grave within only the close friends and family. In some cases, the deceased was a controversial figure, and the family/friends were fearful that the grave could be vandalized. And sadly in some cases, there isn't anyone to oversee the grave. Judith Barsi, for example... She was a child actress who had also done voice work in cartoons. Sadly, her father was terribly abusive and ended up killing Judith, and I believe he killed her mother as well. Fans took up donations and saw to it that Judith finally got a headstone a few years ago.
      Sorry for the novel, there! Just wanted to shed a little light on that topic for you! 💗🖤

So much so, that she and George had a TERRIBLE FALLING OUT, because Gracie was wanting a new one! George leaves, and when he returns the following MORNING, has a BEAUTIFUL NEW CENTERPIECE for Gracie!!!! Well, she knew what had transpired!!!! Gracie was overheard telling a friend a few years later - "I wish George would cheat again! I need a new CENTERPIECE!"

    The true level of your talent is not just continuing to produce high quality videos, but keeping each succeeding video fresh and unique. You should receive an Oscar for your creative idea of having George Burns watching Hollywood Graveyard on his TV. Now, how many people would have thought of doing that? Not many. Undoubtedly, you will include Michael Jackson's resting place in subsequent videos. Just look for all of the sunflowers placed by fans near Michael's location as I understand the sunflower was his favorite flower. Thanks very much for your continued excellence and creativity.

    Who would of thought that you are a fan of the Big Band sound (Natalie Cole singing Paper Moon)? I love it. In addition to your other exquisite talents, you also have great taste in music. Arguably, what the majority of your viewers don't realize is that they are bearing witness to your evolving genius. Seriously, the epilogue of George Burns turning on the television to watch your videos - sheer brilliance. With the large number of celebrities buried at this location (James Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, Elizabeth Taylor, etc.), I could easily see you devoting more than 3 videos to Forest Lawn Glendale. Whatever the case, I look forward to your next production. All of your videos are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I saw many times this video, and I find always something new. In another video, talking about Eymie Gormé, I remember Nat King Cole who sang in spanish too, he recorded three albums: "Cole Español", "A Mis Amigos" and "More Cole Español". The biggest Cole's hit in spanish is "Ansiedad". Nat had many fans in Latin America, and in spite of his death, fifty-two years ago, his music still is aired in latin radios. In Peru sounds many times. In case of Natalie, her daughter, I remain a song called "Sophisticated Lady" who was a hit in my country. Greets from Peru...

    I recently saw Disney's grave. I'm amazed that it's so modest, considering this is the final resting place of Walt Disney. Don't get me wrong though, it is very beautiful. It's very strange how when I got there, I was happy that I got to see where Disney is today, but also felt quite melancholy to remember that he is gone. I also saw Nat King Cole and the George and Gracie.

    My old stomping grounds! I worked briefly at FL when I lived in Glendale and it was fantastic being around the old buildings all day. The security staff are ruthless, though. They will turn the sprinklers on you if you appear to be a lookie-loo!

    This cemetery had a lot of private sections, so it's interesting
    To see who was interred in those areas. I think Michael Jackson is in the Great Mausoleum as well, but I could be wrong
