It's obvious Rick has never worked on a construction site because not everybody gets blueprints. Mostly the engineers get blueprints

Yeah I could see it being worth $200 retail but I gotta frame it, vacuum it, have it re-matted, touched up, rebound, get the chrome worked on, tickle it, read it bedtime stories, its gonna take up space, gravity will be holding it to the Earth, its gonna raise my car insurance, I'm gonna have to buy more cat food, my cousin's gonna call me, I'll give you 8 bucks that's the most I can do final offer not a penny more take it or leave it.

Not everyone on a construction project gets plans
That set of prints looks to be about 35 pages. I wouldn’t be surprised if they broke it down and made 35 nice framed presentation pieces. You know, one blueprint page and a couple pics of the dam under construction. They could probably sell those nice, framed pieces for $150-$225 a pop. Figure maybe $50 each to get them framed... therefore bringing in about $3500-$6125... minus the $160 he paid for the set... That’s what I would have done anyways.
Rick is the only one I believe when spouting historical facts as opposed to the others who sound like they looked everything up ahead of time.

Each episode literally follows the same formula. Customer comes in, explains what they have, a brief description of the item is presented on screen, rick says how much you want out of it?, customer gives prices, rick sighs and gives an explanation as to why it's not worth what the customer thinks it's worth. He then lowballs. The customer lowers their price and then rick throws his final or next to final price. They either go up or down a bit and agree or they are too far apart. They shake hands, customers says final words. The end.
What about the part in which rick take the risk?

I'm come to find out that it doesn't matter what price the seller counters with, Rick will always sigh and have some sort of negative reaction to it, in this case it was only $10, sometimes it's $1,000, sometimes it's $10,000
