- A playthrough of American Laser Games' 1994 arcade FMV light-gun shooter, The Last Bounty Hunter.
This video shows the game being played as it appeared in Majesco's 2009 compilation disc for the Nintendo Wii, Mad Dog McCree: Gunslinger Pack.
This video shows me playing through the game on the Sheriff difficulty level.
Though it's not technically a part of the Mad Dog McCree series (if two games constitute a series, that is), The Last Bounty Hunter is more than similar enough to nicely round out the selection of games offered in the Gunslinger Pack. It's also one of the lesser known ALG titles (the home ports were limited to the PC, 3DO, and CD-i in the 90s), so there's a good chance that even if you've played the Mad Dog games to death, this one will be a fresh and new experience. If you have played it before, the Wii port is just as well done as the conversions for Mad Dog McCree and Mad Dog II. Aiming the targeting reticle accurately is easy and intuitive with the Wiimote, the video is nice and sharp despite the occasional pop-up of interlacing artifacts, and the entire thing is as goofy and cheesy as you could possibly hope for. It's quite well done, and one of the better examples of laser disc-based light gun games.
If you like American Laser Games' signature mix of FMV cheese and plastic six-shooters, this is easy to recommend. If you aren't a fan, The Last Bounty Hunter isn't likely to sway you.

I have this on the CD-i, the resolution is much higher here. Didn't know this was also on the Wii, I got the console as well and might try it there now too.

Even the leader come in to just start laughing what everyone was seeing, now tomorrow we are going to have a party, and I invited to play this what I consider, a masterpiece of FMV Lightgun shooter, we can't stop laughing really.

I used to go to the Dayton Mall in Dayton, Ohio and play the original Mad Dog Mcree. Best Sega CD game ever.
10:25 I think that guy was the final boss in an arcade quick draw game that I loved but it's been forever since I've played.
He was! His name was Wes Flowers. My father Lloyd Kirkman and Wes started the fast draw arcade games back in the 90's. They both were world fast draw competitor. They became friends over the years. I miss them both so much, they were amazing!

A tip: Shoot to the wheels, skulls and lights (red like) for bonus, weapons and other stuffs

Awww yeah, this is my stuff. We used to drive to the "big"city about 30 minutes away all the time in the mid 90's, and this one was there for a couple of years. Had a lot of fun on it.
I know you mostly do retro stuff, but you played Night in the Woods yet? Holy crap, that would make for a great longplay on here. Best story in a game I've encountered in years.

Kind of a story driven platform/adventure game? It's kind of hard to put into one genre. There's not much in the way of actual gameplay, it's mostly little mini games and exploration, but the story and dialogue will utterly blow you away. Seriously. Never mind it's all cute widdle animal characters, they are more adult than any JRPG character ever made.
Hmm, it certainly sounds interesting. I'll have to give it a try to see if I like it.
Be ready for a serious gut punch of emotion, though. Holy crap. The music is also absolutely astounding.

So far American Laser Game mostly covers genre of Western theme, of course with modern cop theme, gangster theme and sci-fi theme. Wonder what if American Laser Game touches theme like World War 1 and 2, Vietnam War, Gulf War, 60s spy theme, 70s blackploitation theme etc

Am I the only one questioning why this wasn't a MadDog focused game? Like, what happened here-? Not that I hate it, this game definitely has it's charm for sure. I'm just confused.
