Correct @TheSpoiledTexan. Authorities have found massive amounts of evidence of the heinous food crimes on the internet & in his home 😬. Josh is currently waiting for his turn on death row. They let him have his last wish to cook his own meals before giving him lethal injection.
My Grammy used to LOVE shrimp cocktail-one of the last times I saw her before she died was at thanksgiving, where she probably had like 40 shrimp by herself, haha. She was awesome and I bet she would have loved josh's energy as it would remind her of my siblings and I. FUN FACT: the grey line in the middle of Humboldt Fog isin't actually mold (although it may contain a little mold) its grey pigment comes from vegetable ash, which coats the outside and is layered between the curds. This is why it does not have that intense taste that comes from a blue cheese. My Grammy also used to love eating 'cheese and crackers' with us, and she taught me a lot about cheeses, as she grew up and lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for most of her life. Anyways, thank you for sending me through so many fond memories in this video. -Sincerely, a little cook who is super inspired by your cooking.

I know this whole last meal concept was supposed to be spooky for ✨Spooky Season✨ but it’s just so deep and existentialist and I as a student of philosophy freaking love this. We are indeed Beings Toward Death, and we should all be able to enjoy the privilege of a last meal.
“Aw you again?!” Again? Is Josh like a cat with 9 lives? He just keeps eating enough ranch to kill himself but balances it with crazy abdominal muscles so Death doesn’t know what to do with him so then he just comes back anyway?

No-one will probably see this but you have to get yourself on the Off Menu Podcast - I would love to hear you talk for an hour with comedians about your favourite meals.
My last meal would be some onion risotto. It was my favourite dish growing up, the first dish my dad learned me to cook. And it will never taste as good as the one he used to make but well. Add maybe some raw beef with some rock salt or some way overcooked bacon wich are also tied with my childhood (my lovely grandma). And some pistachio ice cream. Mostly nostalgic things indeed
This was the best episode of mythical kitchen. Josh just really hit a lot of things home for me. Existential crisis/Easy Going/ Actually learning a thing or two about cooking. I know he wasn't as crazy as he usually is but this one was just really great. 👌
Can you guys PLEASE have Caitlyn Doughty (of Ask a Mortician) on this show? I know that the point is to get people who maybe DON'T regularly face mortality to discuss it, but I think that the juxtaposition of a person who's career is based on facing mortality would be a really interesting perspective. Also, amazing show! I really love the concept
"My family was rich and had a summer home" vs. "court mandated vistation rights." Guess what: I had BOTH! I basically didn't have a home when I wasn't at school, it just depended on how the courts were feeling that year. Don't cry for me, obviously. The fact that I had two parents that both had homes and one of them even had a summer home means that I was doing okay. I'm in my 30's and I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever own my own home - the fact that both of my parents did it separately from one another is increasingly astonishing to me. The fact that they co-parented me while hating each others' guts is less surprising to me, though.
Is Josh telling us his last meal because he's dying or because he's planning something and may be put to death via lethal injection if he fails? 😄 Regardless I'm hungry now lol
My last meal would be: Chilli garlic lemon ginger grilled prawns, also with some smoked Scottish salmon with lemon wedges. chicken balmoral, whisky peppercorn sauce, roast tatties and some grilled asparagus Then clotted cream ice cream
Brooo what does clotted cream ice taste like? They don't sell clotted cream in America so I made some at home and it's honestly one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted.
@Colin Deal if prawns with some lemons and garlic and chicken, potatoes and asparagus followed by ice cream is fancy to you, then you are easily impressed.
Sometimes my dad will just pick up the salt shaker on the table with his dirty hands during a meal and-.. It. Drives. Me. Crazy. I don't even want to imagine how the kitcheneers handle Josh's humboldt blue cheese shmear all over every surface 😂😂
Josh’s speech about food bringing us together was the most coherent and beautiful thing he’s ever said (that was serious). Also, is this Josh’s way of telling us he’s dying/leaving?!? Rumor mill engage!

I know this whole last meal concept was supposed to be spooky for ✨Spooky Season✨ but it’s just so deep and existentialist and I as a student of philosophy freaking love this. We are indeed Beings Toward Death, and we should all be able to enjoy the privilege of a last meal.
“Aw you again?!”
Again?
Is Josh like a cat with 9 lives?
He just keeps eating enough ranch to kill himself but balances it with crazy abdominal muscles so Death doesn’t know what to do with him so then he just comes back anyway?
I really didn't expect this whole episode to be one long existential crisis
Do you even watch MK?
I loved that ya'll did this it's so creative and such a joy to watch. Would you consider doing this for the other cast members? I would love to see what everyone would like to have :)
But also Josh I want to know what crime you committed that got you sent to death row.
josh is being very unus annus about death here
Josh's weirdness makes My day..He's so effin funny
No-one will probably see this but you have to get yourself on the Off Menu Podcast - I would love to hear you talk for an hour with comedians about your favourite meals.
PAPPADUMS OR BREAD JOSH?!
Last meal would definitely be lasagna, but carbonara sauce instead of the usual white sauce, it's got everything, meat, pasta, cheese and sauce.
Momento mori, amirite? And mine would be a large meat lover's pizza from pizza hut with a pitcher of beer. I don't think i want to face death sober.
18:26 this has to be some sort of record, because never before this moment has Josh ever legit made me uncomfortable 😂
I Love his dorky sincere attitude, what a sweetheart.
Is Josh telling us his last meal because he's dying or because he's planning something and may be put to death via lethal injection if he fails? 😄 Regardless I'm hungry now lol
He's going to commit the biggest food crime of all... Human burger
@@HiperPivociarz what if he saw the meat pie video babish did and he decided to make a more accurate Mrs.lovettes meat pie?
Pretty sure it’s related to his plans for replacing Link as Rhett’s best friend
Yes
My last meal would be:
Chilli garlic lemon ginger grilled prawns, also with some smoked Scottish salmon with lemon wedges.
chicken balmoral, whisky peppercorn sauce, roast tatties and some grilled asparagus
Then clotted cream ice cream
Brooo what does clotted cream ice taste like? They don't sell clotted cream in America so I made some at home and it's honestly one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted.
@@JM-bd4qh haha really? It’s just like a really nice cream flavour, it’s so good, simple and effective my favourite is Mackies traditional ice cream
That dessert will finish you off for sure. Killer menu though.
@@michaelhall5429 haha thanks, n the ice cream is top tier a simple pleasure
@Colin Deal if prawns with some lemons and garlic and chicken, potatoes and asparagus followed by ice cream is fancy to you, then you are easily impressed.
When I'm buying tortillas at the store, I am shocked every time by how many stacks of little non-burritoable tortillas there are.
Dems is for tacos.
Snack quesadilla tortillas
It's the tortillas that accompany your main meal when taco isn't the main course
Like rice, beans, eggs, soups, stews, etc
18:34 I think josh would agree with me, make massive tortillas more mainstream. The demand is there, just supply.
Sometimes my dad will just pick up the salt shaker on the table with his dirty hands during a meal and-.. It. Drives. Me. Crazy.
I don't even want to imagine how the kitcheneers handle Josh's humboldt blue cheese shmear all over every surface 😂😂
Can't wait to hear them discuss how shrimp are pickles or something like the sea is a soup on "A Hotdog is a Sandwich" next week.
we had to take Josh off of death row, all that cilantro got the insanity plee accepted.
Would be fun make show like food fears, but with that concept
Josh’s speech about food bringing us together was the most coherent and beautiful thing he’s ever said (that was serious).
Also, is this Josh’s way of telling us he’s dying/leaving?!? Rumor mill engage!
This is such a GREAT series!! As one that has experienced loss in multiple ways, it is nice to see to normalizing of something that is inevitable. I am a mental health professional and think this is one of the best shows on UA-cam; it may potentially become a form of therapy much like music and art.
As someone who is obsessed with where this series has progressed to, this was a joy to watch. Josh, I’m obsessed with you and what you put into the world as a human. Get a twin stat so I can lock them down in life. Please and thank you.
