Sugar cookies are my favorite, but if I had chipless chocolate chip cookies idk those might win. The bites between the chips are the best part, the actual cookie part. They aren't exactly sold everywhere, and I suppose I could make them myself but I don't generally make cookies just for myself very often or I'd be much fatter than I am

I love that Link, Mr. "Has a Control Problem"'s favorite meal his mom made is a huge, messy platter of meat, potatoes, and peas. No separation of anything. Like his mom's the one person who can present a sloppy plate of food and he's happy.

This is going to be a turning point for Josh, Mythical Kitchen, and the handoff that Rhett said he eventually wanted. Getting bigger names like Tom Hanks & Margaret Cho is the sign for other big celebrities to want to join in, and turn Last Meals into the next Hot Ones. We all already know Josh is capable of that depth.
And the topic/format of Last Meals is just set up to be that much deeper than Hot Ones.

You can really see why Rhett & Link are friends after this. Link is the type of person we all know, wants that validation and wants to always have the wheel to get there. He said himself that leaves you scared to make big choices because your afraid of being wrong. Rhett has such a sense of adventure that he is willing to jump headlong into that unknown or controversy. Those two sides make a better team and friendship

This is why I forced my grandpa to write down my favorite of his recipes a few years ago, so they wouldn’t die with him. He passed in September and I’m so glad I did. I haven’t tried to make any. I can’t cook or bake, but the possibility exists to try now. Though I missed some. Bless grandma’s heart, she tried to recreate some Christmas cookies of his. They were hard as rocks, but I ate some anyway.

Rhett’s last meal was full of a lot more deep thought and Link was just here to eat food from Josh he actually likes. But it makes me appreciate not only Link as an individual but everyone else that doesn’t think in the same pattern as I do. We all analyze life differently and that’s important to how we grow as a species.

It brought tears to my eyes when Link talked about his nanny’s fried chicken and how he can never taste it again because it made me think of my grandma’s rice and her chuchitos which are like little tamales we make in Guatemala and how I will never taste that food again because it went with her. I wish I could’ve asked her or seen her make them so that I had an idea but now it is just a memory of some of the best I had or will ever have. Thank you link because although it hurt to realize this it also takes me back to the joy of that day when we ate with my grandma and how we all wanted more but there weren’t any left, just a smile on her face.
