I have never understood why anyone thought that was a good one-liner. If I recall the situation correctly, the Lion had just tried to blame Guilliman for letting Curze into Sanguinius's throne room. Guilliman responded by basically telling the Lion that he was the "Warmaster", and that the job of protecting Sanguinius was his, which it absolutely was. So in response the Lion threatened to hit him. That's not only ridiculous but incredibly childish, especially for someone who is supposed to have a superhuman intellect. On top of that, the insult doesn't make sense. You can't theoretically punch someone, and the phrase "practical face" doesn't mean anything. The whole thing seems like the author clumsily tried to make the Lion seem badass by turning a phrase Guilliman liked to use. I for one think it made the Lion look like a douche. edit spelling

As someone who discovered WH40K by borrowing the original angels of death codex back in middle school and fell in LOVE with the dark angels......these two videos, especially the ending to this one, are possibly one of the single best tellings of a Primarchs story I have ever witnessed. The reunification of Lion and BOTH the fallen and the unforgiven has me in tears....Because of this video I will definitely be breaking my old vows and probably buying the first official games workshop box set I have purchased in probably like 13 or so years (the Lion figure, of course). A vow I made because they priced me out of collecting years ago. These videos will make me break it. Thank you....
The Lion's journey from the wilds of Caliban to reuniting with his legion after 10,000 years is such an awesome story and great character development for Johnson. You and everyone else involved in the voice acting did a spectacular job with this. I'm definitely gonna be rewatching both videos this weekend.
Thank you for the final few minutes of decompression with just background music. They help the story linger some more and the sentences and images to echo in our brains. What a story! Some of the voice acting this time truly touched some chords. Especially that moment where the lion was alone in the cell looking at the empty manacles. Wow.
I love Curze, I don’t know why the Night Lords don’t get more novel love. Talos and company made them human. I don’t know if it was just my experience in the military but coming to terms with your own nature was a really hard thing for me to do.

You are something else. The Oratory skills you possess are second to none. I don’t remember what the technical term for the way you overlap your previous statements after time or voice change but I love it. I love reading stories like that but listening to them is so beautiful. Psychologists say we are learn different but there is a common thread. You read it, you hear it, and you do it. In this case, we get to hear it twice. That second overlap is always more important than the first. If anyone is reading this, it is done on purpose. Like a math equation, the solving inside parenthesis come first before you can move on, but you can move things around before you solve. The second hit is the parenthesis being solved paving way for the solution. I’m not gifted in the arts. I wish I was but I don’t know if I would enjoy them as much if they came so easy to me. I was blessed with physical talent and honed my skills in the military. You guys are the real hero’s. You make me feel my emotions again. That is priceless…

The thing I like most about these Lore vids is that this isnt a historic chronicle of events. Its a bard telling the story. No other Warhammer lore vids or channels ever get me legit teary eyed. The weight of these tales is palpable, especially when paired with the music and visuals. That effect is why i showed the Saul and Lucius vid to my gf as her first introduction to 40k. She has now borrowed my copy of Horus rising. Keep up the great work dude.

The Dark Angels were already my favorite Legion and The Lion was already my favorite Primarch but holy cow this just makes me like them sooooooo much more now. I am completely in and cannot wait for more.
The Lion and Sanguinius interactions are so well written and he has grown so much in character. Glad to have the Lion back in the setting as the Imperium needs him. Thanks Amber King for the phenomenal Lion videos. Also i wish they would do something with Madail he was the Only Greater Deamon to match not 1 but 3 Primarch's and not lose but a stalemate.

I love the Lion's character so much and I appreciate how in this two parter-voyage you have encapsulated everything regarding the Lion. For too long I think people have been led to have a certain negative interpretation of Jonson hence, I love how you and the amazing crew (shout out to all of them) have shown the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Lion and how you framed how 40k Lion is very different from 30k Lion. Jonson for me is a loyal son, but he has made mistakes and I love how GW are taking his story beats now with his Risen. It will be interesting to see the dynamics of the Unforgiven with the Risen and Jonson from here on out. I also feel Jonson being the protector he is now, may finish what he started at Thramas and wipe out all remaining Night Lords. @Sean Michael Moreno, thank you fro brining to life the voice of my favorite primarch!
Imperium Secundas was a good idea in concept. With Guilliman running the government and logistics, the Lion over military and security, and Sanguineous being the figurehead and the outside opinion between the two other Primarchs. And Curze almost ended all three with focused madness and insane determination.

The thing I like most about these Lore vids is that this isnt a historic chronicle of events. Its a bard telling the story.
No other Warhammer lore vids or channels ever get me legit teary eyed. The weight of these tales is palpable, especially when paired with the music and visuals.
That effect is why i showed the Saul and Lucius vid to my gf as her first introduction to 40k. She has now borrowed my copy of Horus rising.

The Dark Angels were already my favorite Legion and The Lion was already my favorite Primarch but holy cow this just makes me like them sooooooo much more now. I am completely in and cannot wait for more.
The Lion and Sanguinius interactions are so well written and he has grown so much in character. Glad to have the Lion back in the setting as the Imperium needs him. Thanks Amber King for the phenomenal Lion videos.
Also i wish they would do something with Madail he was the Only Greater Deamon to match not 1 but 3 Primarch's and not lose but a stalemate.

I love the Lion's character so much and I appreciate how in this two parter-voyage you have encapsulated everything regarding the Lion. For too long I think people have been led to have a certain negative interpretation of Jonson hence, I love how you and the amazing crew (shout out to all of them) have shown the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Lion and how you framed how 40k Lion is very different from 30k Lion.
Jonson for me is a loyal son, but he has made mistakes and I love how GW are taking his story beats now with his Risen. It will be interesting to see the dynamics of the Unforgiven with the Risen and Jonson from here on out. I also feel Jonson being the protector he is now, may finish what he started at Thramas and wipe out all remaining Night Lords.

Imperium Secundas was a good idea in concept. With Guilliman running the government and logistics, the Lion over military and security, and Sanguineous being the figurehead and the outside opinion between the two other Primarchs. And Curze almost ended all three with focused madness and insane determination.
