So not accurate. I have a Lexus LX570 same infotainment, I just use it for music and for maps I use google maps on my phone. You can get the lc500 with apple car play so there is no issue.
I felt the same at first, but have been daily driving my LC500 Since 2019 and it takes about 3 months and you get used to it. Not only that, it actually works very very well once you know where to go and learn the shortcuts.
You get used to the info system eventually, I have and it works fine but using map for directions feels like too many steps (based on UK postcode lookup)
I own a 2022 and absolutely love the infotainment system ! No fingerprints and easy to operate if you want to learn !! Took me 1/2 hour and figured it all out
I own the 2021 alongside a 2024 Atlas with the all touch screen and all the “modern infortainment” whistles, and I couldn’t agree more with you. You can tell most reviewers didn’t put anytime understanding it. Its a great system.
It’s really not that bad. Iam used to it now and have had the car one month. The climate controls are on the dash, I rarely have to change the seat settings. The radio controls are external as well. Everything else is done on my phone including navigation or music etc. I like the lack of fingerprints and the sleek look of the dash.
I agree!! The infotainment system is cumbersome, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I bought a 2021 Convertible, and I love every second I’m in it. Infotainment system? Whatever. I’ve already gotten used to it.
I own the 2021 alongside a 2024 Atlas with the all touch screen and all the “modern infortainment” whistles, and I prefer my LC’s screen setup. Once you have it setup, its a breeze. Most reviewers didn’t put anytime understanding it. Its a great system.
I like the infotainment system. Trackpad reminds me of old school video games. Works for me I don’t understand the hate. I don’t want to touch the screen. Too lazy. Too many fingerprints.
Nope. I bought a new LC 500 convertible and after 2 months with it, the infotainment is better for me than my wife's s560 infotainment system.. It is very easy to use. Also, the comfort concierge is the bees knees. What no one mentions is you have buttons to adjust the a/c as well on the fly. This car is the best car I have ever driven and I've driven them all except pagani, or koneggsigg. Not a fast car but quick and sounds like a GTP car, insane.
Totally agree with you, it's the pits. Didn't stop me buying one though, I just added a secondary screen for Apple Car Play/Andoid Auto (the latest LC's have this as standard anyway) and it is then 100%. Did you mention the non-existant rear seat room? Ooops.....
I love the infotainment system. I have to problem using it. All functions I need are dialed in, and works perfectly. Once you setup your presets, ie., audio system, phone, heated and cool seat temperature, you don’t have to worry about adjustment. If you are driving your eyes should be on the road.
as a car weeb i know what you mean but its a daily luxury driver/cruiser that gives you the feeling of a sports car with a switch of a button. its not a full track car, this car is too heavy and luxurious to have the performance. im also a lexus fanboy. but thats also the truth
The infotainment isn't a deal breaker. The LC500 is like a piece of art
I agree
Ok I don’t care about the infotainment system. I’d drive this LC500. Driving is my interest in the car.

Absolutely
Literally every purchaser of this vehicle does not care lol. Plug in Apple CarPlay and you’re good to go.
Exactly!
At least it comes with Apple Carplay which makes up for the horrendous native infotainment system!
I felt the same at first, but have been daily driving my LC500 Since 2019 and it takes about 3 months and you get used to it. Not only that, it actually works very very well once you know where to go and learn the shortcuts.

Best all around car out there! Hands down with no apologies!
No one uses that. Apple Play works like a charm.
The infotainment system is not a huge deal. You can talk to the car, and use apple car play. Done.
Needs a sequential and a supercharger
The problem I have with my LC 500 is my wife gets jealous.
You guys make too much of the infotainment system. Get over it.
Or just don't use it 🤣

road and track the need for speed 2 2022 pls😊
THIS IS BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED! once you drive it you are hooked. The 2024 screen is too big and takes away from the lines of the dash.
I agree!! The infotainment system is cumbersome, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I bought a 2021 Convertible, and I love every second I’m in it. Infotainment system? Whatever. I’ve already gotten used to it.
Upload. That's a beautiful car
I want it anyway.
I'll never be able to afford it anyway.
So , basically, nothing changes for me. :)
yes you can if you try hard enough
@@nostalgic_pokemon_memories I was joking. I had good cars, because I was a motorhead. Now I have other priorities.

The infotainment system really isn't that bad. It's not ideal but you get used to it after a while and it's no problem.
Does that year head unit integrate with Android Auto? Does it play media from a flash drive?

If your decision to buy this car is based upon the infotainment system, you're definitely missing the point.
2:23 PS2 menu sounds lol
I have an LC500 coupe. I can’t remember the last time I used anything besides CarPlay. It’s a non-issue.
I don't like seeing fingerprints on my screen so this is a plus for me
Infotainment isn't as bad as they say. Most reviewers dont have the car for more than 1 day
Lovely spec
2024 model has a touch screen

Only 1 cupholder
I think the suspension and the road noise is the downside
You have obviously had an LC500, how come nobody else has ever mentioned that?
I love the touch pad

The fact that you can't get a manual transmission is also another downer...

@@kendall9758 Exactly, this is a GT, longer distance cruiser. if you want a full sport car, get the Porsche GT3 or AMG GT or Cayman GTS.

The rear needs to be re designed

I agree, it’s awkward
The grill is by far the worst part of the car. Nobody cares about infotainment on a weekend car.
The problem is “is a Lexus”
