We went from the 362xp to the 562xp back when they came out. We used them for crane removals. After you finished the cut off and shut the saw off I’d just switch it to high idle right then so next cut I could pull it up by my lanyard and pull it over. It would start one pull every time. Once you did it a few times you never thought about it.
Very nice builds! That 562 is a bad ass running and looking saw! I have a 562xp just muffler modded great little firewood saw! That 6510 sounded like it held its grunt while loaded up great job Boedy!
Man, my buddy owns a tree service and one of his guys bought a 562 mk 2. We've put that saw (stock) up against a stock stihl 362, stihl 400c and my Husky 555 and it crushed them all. I know when ported things change, but for tree service work we usually just use stock saws since a saw that starts and runs cuts better than a hot saw that's temperamental. I've been really impressed with the mk 2.
Sounds like the EFCO might be slowing down just a bit which starts climbing back up the torque curve making it feel stronger where the Husky has enough torque to stay at the upper RPM.
@@novicelumberjack Now you have had a little time with the SOLO/AL-KO/ProRun what's your thoughts on it stock(out of the box)? Think it's worth $360 w/bar/chain (just add fuel/oil)ready 2 cut for the normal firewood cutting/burning home?
@Doc-Cole_Trickle-of-Chainsaws It is still in transit. Don't know where it is exactly. My guess is it's being held up at customs. Not because of any reasons other than simple delays. How did you find that Pro Run saw? That is totally the same saw. Definitely made in China. Crazy... I would never have expected a German/Austrian company to blatantly lie about the origin. You can see all over the website their claims "designed in Germany and built in Austria". Total horseshit.
@@novicelumberjack I didn't know how far your videos were behind real time and wasn't thinking about you shipping it back😕. I was on Amazon looking at big clone saws 4 milling and I recognized the ProRun saw, since I had just seen your vid I recognized it right away. Marketing, guessing not many over there want a Chinese saw so they lied I guess WTF
Did you say you get 200$ a month from us ? God damit I’m going to bump up to the next level. I’m not swinging in money, drowning is probably the better term but I enjoy your channel and it’s not even close to buying you a beer these days. Anyway thanks for your time and effort body! I now that doesn’t help pay for anything in your life but at least you can feel a little better knowing you’re appreciated. Keep it up big dog!!
I like that even though you know shouldn’t, you still take a guess as to which is stronger by feel. Nailed it on this one even if I think you cheated and looked at the video before commenting 😁😉👍🏼👍🏼
The ms400 is a bigger saw then the 562. If you want to compare like saws then get a ms362 to compare to the 562. Cause the ms 362 and the 562 are the same cc and saw class. where the ms 400 is a higher cc then the 362 which gives it more power right off the bat, then you ported it.
The Husky is impressive for its class. The ms400 should out cut the 562. It has more cc's. Not alot more but enough you should notice a difference. With that said the ms400 does punch well above its class.
562 might be outrunning that chain too. Seems like the mk2 is just doing the exact same thing the mk1 did as far as hotstart. Dont know how much id worry about figuring out what you did to make it not start.

Cool video. Good to see a saw cutting that is not very common.
Both of em are very nice saws and both run stellar!!!

Damn Boedy. If it is pretty much keeping up with a ported 562 you did a good job on it. Especially for the first time porting one.
Thanks. Basic port work. All the shit some folks do only slows saws down. And it is actually a really good saw. I'm impressed by it.

Great job on both👍🏻 the Efco is holding it's own, but that 562 is slick!
562 does look Ephin🆒⚠
I rattle canned my OE 372 the same but damn that 362 looks good. Thanks

Look at how straight that cookie log is.
Nice work!
Don't really care who is faster all that matters is who will finish the job at the end of the day with less problems or no problems at all.

I really like that 562. I wonder what hp number it is putting out.
