- Power window switch / button not working or working intermittently on Dodge G. Caravan minivan? This is a common problem, especially if power window does not go up, only goes down. In this video I am showing how to replace / remove / change the power window regulator switch assembly on front driver door on Dodge Grand Caravan ( 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | SE | CVP | AMP | SXT | LIMITED | CREW | VALUE PACKAGE | EXPRESS ).

In this case you have two solutions. Either remove the power window switch assembly, take it apart and try to clean the motherboard and all the connections, or just replace the power window assembly.
Definitely easier to replace the assembly. It is not expensive and literally takes less than five minutes. Easy DIY project.

I have my 2008 Grand caravan since 2012 with now almost 200 000 km and so far never had an issue with any door window button.

So I have my replacement switch and was wondering if I have to unhook my battery to replace this switch?
It is always recommended to disconnect the battery when replacing electrical parts. Nothing will happen if you don't, but if you want to be 100% sure you don't burn a fuse then disconnect it

How do you know that this is the problem? My driver’s side window will only go up 3/4 of the way. Tried closing it while shutting door, tried pulling on it while pushing button and tried locking & unlocking the door (got scared for short time car wouldn’t unlock when doing this but did after I shut car off and restarted). I can’t afford to fix this right now but don’t know how to figure out cause. Thanks
If the door switch moves the window up to 3/4 of the way, then the switch is good. Could be a weak power window motor or window itself got out of tracks. You will have to take off the door panel and see what's happening
My electrical connector release is different and won’t come out! Help! Yes just one place to push
Try spraying it with electrical contact cleaner. It will loosen it up
Mine won’t go up at all ? When you push the button you can hear something inside running but the window will not come up . Is that a switch problem?
Hi, I don't think it will be a switch problem. If you hear noise inside the door panel then it is either failed power window motor or possibly cables on the regulator broke. Door panel will have to be removed and then see what is happening
