It's really bittersweet to watch Bo Jackson play in 1990, knowing he just had a few more games before that hip injury destroyed what could have been the most brilliant athletic career ever.
One of the games where the idea of Bo and Marcus came closest to fruition. Both had 17+ carries, taking the load off of Schroeder and controlling the clock.
@@jeremiahrose4681Definitely belongs in the HOF. There’s too many players not in yet. The Buffalo Bills Cornelius Bennett and Steelers James Harrison belong in the HOF. Too many to list.
Dan fouts is in but those guys are not. Seems wrong. So what he threw for a bunch of yards. He never won anything. If he gets in for passing yards then Townsend should be in for sacks alone. @@SuperFuck
It says a lot about the Dolphin’s franchise when I have to go back to the 80’s and 90’s to watch meaningful football games. It’s been a tough 20 years to be a fan of them.
The NFL scheduled so many Raiders road games at night between 1986-94 that KABC became something of a secondary primary station for the Raiders; they had not only broadcast rights to their MNF games, but also ESPN games because of the network's majority ownership by Capital Cities, which also owned ABC at the time. Not sure who simulcast TNT games for LA audiences.
Shula , 91 - 70 in the last 10 years of his career after 1985 season loss to Patriots in AFC championship , lost divisional - 1990 , lost Conference game at home 1992 , lost divisional 1994 , lost Wild card 1995 , Today that would get him fired .
Imagine had the Dolphins beaten the Patriots in that AFC title game. It’d of been the Dolphins vs Bears in Super Bowl XX. The Dolphins had handed the Bears their only loss all year. It’d of been interesting.

I remember watching this game as a kid. Fucking love this team. Still to this day

Greg Townsend is the Raiders all-time sack leader. Solid player and leader from 1983-1993.
HAll of Famer?

These 3 announcers are good, they feed off of each other and just talk football.
THE BEST UNIFORMS IN THE MIAMI DOLPHINS HISTORY...BAR NONE!!!
I didn't watch this game that night. But thanks to you I can watch it now. Thanks again!
Legendary announcers Gifford and al micheals!!

The Dolphins still haven't been able to replace Shula and Marino.
@@KS-xo3oh Maybe but time will tell
@@nymike06 The football gods have been cruel due to the way the organization unceremoniously kicked both HOFers to the curb.
@@ujohnlynch2341 You're so right. The organization could do better. They have had like 2 o3 different owners since Marino retired.
This when Monday night football was still special to watch....I think since goodell took over it's not the same.
Maybe that's why hank Jr told them...see ya....maybe something like that. MNF was special back then.
Thanks for uploading this video , I like rewatching 90s game !

I was at that game with my good friend Scott Uglum from the USS, Dwight D Eisenhower.

Same here.
If you question if you can establish the run with Allen and Bo, you sir, have a problem.
Ikr..art shell was awful with adjustments..not to mention jay Schroeder
To not allow a rushing touchdown over six games is almost unheard of now..
This was a stretch that the Raiders were (7-1) in their last eight games against Don Shula's Dolphins from 1979-1990.
Only loss came against Mike Shanahan. Tom Flores was undefeated against Shula.
@@manuginobilisbaldspot424Tom was a great HC. HOFer.

the NFL is better when the Dolphins matter. Patriots fans will fall off the face of the earth as soon as Brady retires.
WTF does that mean? Even before The Patriots were winning Super Bowls starting in 2001,The Dolphins haven't won one since 1973.
Can't stand them, raiders used to rule and don't like results of todays NFL...
NFL is fixed. CIA is in NFL security. Nuff said.
Just Win Baby!
A 12 win team...nice for the Raiders, imagine if they had a real QB.
He was real bad. Could throw 100mph fastballs but missed wide open receivers over and over and over.
A great game between two playoff that both could have went to Superbowl 25
The Bills thrashed both teams on their way to wide right.
Bo Jackson vs Miami defense
If #81 catches that 3rd down miami wins that game
Different game today, just cannot watch todays rubbish, the whole format is so inferior to this era.

Is it me or do I like Al Michaels work back then more than today...I'm to the point of not liking his work now....he seems pompous.
