The 1990 Browns are an overlooked all-time bad team. Yes, they won 3 times (compared to the Patriots' 1), but when they lost, they lost BAD. 42-0 at home against Buffalo in a playoff rematch, 58 points at Houston, 34-0 at Kansas City, 34-13 in a Monday night home game vs. the Bengals, 35-0 at Pittsburgh. Hell, even that infamous 1-15 Patriots team played Miami closer than Cleveland did here. They gave up the most point of any team in the 1990s, and their minus 234(!) scoring differential is even worse than the 1999 expansion Browns or other recent bad Browns team.Their only win after early wins over Pittsburgh/Denver was against Atlanta, when the Falcons were really bad on the road. Heck, even their three wins were by a combined 14 points.
That 1990 Browns team was terrible. After being a perennial playoff team in the 80s, this season set the tone of 30 years of mediocrity that produced only three playoff appearances.
Cleveland's turnover ratio was horrendous. 46 giveaways, including 9 in 1 game, (they turned the ball over at least once every game) and only 22 takeaways. Absolutely pathetic

In 1990 the Dolphins were strong coming back from a 4 year absence in playoffs.Too bad the Bills were just a little better otherwise the Fins might have gone to Super Bowl in 90 and 92

So at the beginning,he says These 2 teams haven't met since a yr ago when Miami knocked cleveland out of the playoffs, then turns right around and says Miami hasnt been to the playoffs in 5 yrs??
I thought the same, lol. I think the "meeting a year ago" was when the 'Phins beat the Browns @ Joe Robbie by maybe a FG? That would have been 1989, maybe October.
Both team’s uniforms were much better back then than they are now.
I LOVED the Dolphins 1990 uniforms!!!!!
@@brandonw.9840 except I never liked the aqua pants they started wearing in the 90s.
Aqua pants 🤮
Light blue now is better than those aqua pants
RIP Todd C.

Wait. If "the dolphins hadn't been in the playoffs in five years" how did they "beat cleveland in the playoffs last year"?
Don criqui and Todd Christensen would commentate a game in 1994. Steelers vs seahawks
