Only 3 minutes in, and now I know how a plug spinner works. Never seen anyone else demonstrate one on youtube. Thanks mate. Edit: (another southpaw lockpicker here too)
Dude, this is an incredibly helpful video, especially the spool pins guide. Many people are like me, "stuck" on a lock that they _see_ bypassed with proficiency that's practically foreign to them. What makes this so helpful for me is how methodological you are _in practice._ Especially with the American lock, never backing up, no I would say the way you overcame the security pins is always an expected step (lateral progress anyway). I've been stuck on that lock since dropping the practice several months ago, but damn, tonight I picked my American lock *first try* after watching this. It's your approach, your confidence that did it! I had just assumed until I learned to never pick a false set I wasn't going to bypass that kind of lock security other than blind luck. So thanks, good sir knight!
Thank you for the kind words, I am happy the video helped! I try my best to make the videos easy to follow along. For me, open is open, and I like to follow this approach in the real world setting.

There's a small exception to the direction in which you should turn a deadbolt - Kwikset 816 Series Tenant/Landlord locks have two cores, one on top and one on bottom. The landlord core needs to be turned toward the frame to unlock it because it's on the opposite side of the bolt.

HelpfulLockPicker Thanx bro! I'm sure you know but the key is using a rubber ring so you can "machine gun" it.... even can bump Best padlocks that way....may take a few hundred hits....lol....but it will work.
HelpfulLockPicker hey I been out of Locksport a few months..... what are the best picks out now....was looking at multipick..... I was always a Peterson or Sparrows man.....
Locks are all different. Some are simple like the one you showed. You need to disassemble the loch to show the biting. Which is the biggest deterrent to picking..
My mouth felt open too see that you crack them so easily. Well here we have mostly German / Swedish or UK lockwork. I myself work in the construction and I wanna secure my tools and goods and I was wondering witch kind of lock would do the job. But when I saw you picking them I thought to myself " I hope them thieves are dumb and don't know this knowledge " but I consider that naive... what about these: www.veiligheids-sloten.nl/M-C_Color_pro_4x?gclid=CjwKCAiAj53SBRBcEiwAT-3A2BVY7vBcyg2yG7NeQd9Epy84aXPN4idzDl-aiXNnMZWjtA_9fPzBsRoCIxUQAvD_BwE they consider these as top notch stuff. And I acutely think that even you can't crack them ;)
14TK Longshot I can't read it but are those just dimple locks? They shouldn't be too hard. You always want physical resistance more than pick resistance. Picking a lock in the field is much harder than at a desk. Also, most criminals do destructive entry because it is fast and takes no skill. You should be good with most locks. Adding security pins help prevent raking and bumping
@@HelpfulLockPicker .... Agreed! Makes me think: why the heck did I pay a locksmith $75 bucks on two separate occasions to drill into the door knob... He robbed me from seeing the awesome art of actual lock picking.
It is sort of just poking around inside the lock without any care of what you are doing. It can work pretty well on cheaper locks. I am not sure if this answers your question.
@@HelpfulLockPicker So, instead of statistically working your way down the pins its done in a random process with no particular care to which pins. Just a random process. I have kind of done this myself but going up and down the stack continually back and forth. Thanks for thee answer, I will try this method on done locks to see how it goes. Many Thanks.

I've bumped open many American Locks full of security pins!
Nice work on the opens!
HelpfulLockPicker Thanx bro! I'm sure you know but the key is using a rubber ring so you can "machine gun" it.... even can bump Best padlocks that way....may take a few hundred hits....lol....but it will work.
Bumping is a lot of fun!
HelpfulLockPicker yeah when you don't hit tour fingers! Lol
HelpfulLockPicker hey I been out of Locksport a few months..... what are the best picks out now....was looking at multipick..... I was always a Peterson or Sparrows man.....
Thank you Master for the video
Thanks for checking it out! I hope it helps :)
Are you a prof locksmith?
i have a lock system in my door like the blue one and i cannot get it open hard AF
Light cyclic torque is a surgical new picking concept
Thank you for sharing
Do you just feel to know how many pins are in the lock?
You can count them with your pick
Lubing it up also helps me to pick the lock faster?
It can help because it keeps all the pins moving and helps you discern feedback easier.
Can you use personal lube lol
I used the raking tectneek and it worked
Thanks for sharing!
"Technique" mate
Too cool for school dude🦹
Thanks for checking it out
Locks are all different. Some are simple like the one you showed. You need to disassemble the loch to show the biting. Which is the biggest deterrent to picking..
Thank you for checking out the video! I agree, good bitting can often make lesser skilled attacks much more difficult.
I really love your work! Kind regards from Holland
14TK Longshot thank you for the kind words. What kind of locks do you have in Holland?
Great videos!
Thank you for the kind words!
Perfect video!

Leon's lockpad thanks for checking it out! I think I might be getting your Toy Story lock down the road, I'm looking forward to that:)
A very good video 👏👏👏
Stephen Stone Thank you for the kind words:)
I don't know why I find this stuff so interesting... Must be because Ocean's Eleven is a favorite movie of mine...
That was a pretty good movie :-) there is something very satisfying when you rake or bump a lock open
@@HelpfulLockPicker .... Agreed! Makes me think: why the heck did I pay a locksmith $75 bucks on two separate occasions to drill into the door knob... He robbed me from seeing the awesome art of actual lock picking.
Very nice video thanks
BlackDolphin90 thank you for the kind words!
Good video
Thank you for the kind words!
Could you explain what 'Bitch Picking is? I haven't heard of that.
@phil erup That sounds like a more respectable way of putting it.
