Thanks for making this video! I will deferentially take inspiration of these designs and implement them into my desert builds! Looking forward to more build videos!
I was looking forward for this moment you anounced it, and it did not disappoint. Amazing builds, only issue, as you said, might be crafting stations (at the current level of amount of crafting stations in Conan Exiles, almost all of my solo bases seems too small though), and of course, I have to change some things in my versions of those builds (not because they would be lacking, on the contrary, but that way I would at least feel I have some shred of creativity myself xD). I'm looking forward to jungle, another favourite biome of mine.
You could incorporate double sided walls in some builds. Fence foundations can be used as such with somelimitations, but T1 and T2 builds can make use of them for better looking internal walls, especially when combined with the corner-pillar trick.
I touched on that very briefly in an old Building Tips video, though not to the extent I've seen others use the mechanic. I'm not sure how practical it would be to use for a roleplay build, plus weird fence foundation interactions are way more likely to get patched out in the future
@@Eradicati0nn I don't thinmk it is a glitch. Fence foundations snap over each other like they are supposed to do, but you can't place them over walls, frames or door frames. A discrete way to use them is to make walls around a stairwell, enclosing it in a rather elegenat way. I also use them to enclose straight stairs to make them "discrete" on small two-story houses; this gives an extra good looking wall to place decorations, and hides the space below the stairs, and removes the need to use pointless rails. One set that benefits from this is the stables' set. You use the fence foundations as walls for the first floor, using lattice door frames and windows in long vertical sets to allow natural light. Then you use regular walls for the second floor to give the building a composite feel to it. Works wonders for workshops too, as it gives elegent stone walls to the arena floors.
@@Magnus9284 Ah I presumed you meant how fence foundations can be fiddled with to place them at like 1/10th of a foundation away from another, perhaps I misinterpreted. It would be possible to use them to double-layer walls, though the downside is that the outside can really suffer if you don't significantly plan ahead
Thanks for the great ideas! Just a thought, I would also change the Khitan based blueprint with the siptah tier 3 pieces. That makes for a great look too. Also, would love to see how a jungle or tundra blueprints will come up!
Cute homes. I have few questions. 1. How have you been broski? Been a minute since I have seen you on twitch. 2. Why not use foundations instead of pillars and floors? 3. What keeps you on this game?
Ayyy if it isn't the Doctor himself! I'm doing good man. Haven't streamed on Twitch in a while, and tbh I'm not sure if I will. The way the platform is going with those weird ad incentives is really not something I like the look of. I tend to build some houses on pillars and floors so it's easier to make a nicer bottom layer and to use the pillar trick. For the final question, I just really enjoy building, lore etc. It's not as exciting as when new content drops, but I just enjoy it
A lot of RP servers do not allow foundations and require you to use pillars and floors so it's actually a very nice thing that these are showcased in the builds. Plus from a design standpoint I like that you can have an interior floor of, say, wood, with an exterior of stone on your ground floor.
if the roleplay server was shanis benchs most space will be available in all houses, so check your server mod list in case you like design but don't think can get all benchs you need
i have heard that having to many storage containers on a server slows it down and make it lag? can enligthen me if this is tru? i dont have the best pc and would love to build a smal village and have all crafting stations in sepert homes, i ask becuse you seam like you know alot about this game. i only have about 75 hours or so pleace and thank you :)
They probably increase the lag slightly but there's lots of misinformation about what causes lag and what doesn't. It's hard to say outside of the usual "everything causes a little server lag".

Love these cozy little houses

these are really cool builds :D
Build functional forposts, please. 5x5, 3x8 etc.

Glad you enjoyed it! I'll definitely see what I can do for the Jungle and the Tundra :)
With that stairwell in the second home, add walls to close it in an voila. Stability fix
I did consider that, though I chose not to so I didn't divide up an already small space. It could serve as a good workaround though

Can you make a design for a base beside the warmaker dungeon?
From the small bush on top of the hill to the down side of the dungeon
