As a tip, strip the bed of linens and lean the mattress and box spring against the wall at a 45 degree angle. Talk all drawers out of the furniture and have them leaning against the wall at 45 degrees. All clothes and linens should be put in garbage bags and taken to a laundromat and run through the dryers on high for at least an hour or more per load.
Treating with heat don’t work, they go into the walls and bed into the Installation they stay there till the room cools down and they come back out. You will only kill the ones that may be on the furniture or on the floor. They live in your walls and if walls are getting heated they go in to your Insulation and that keeps them from getting hot and killing them.
As someone who has done hundreds of heat treatments in ten years in the industry heat is the BEST method. There is a REASON why you cook a room for six hours, so the walls and the spaces behind the walls heat up.

The checklist I got included removing musical instruments. How does the heat affect them?

I was told they have to toss clothes all over the floor basically mess up the house by throwing clothes and shoes in the middle of the floor

So windows won't crack due to excessive heat?

Will propane heaters work?
We 100% do not recommend using recreational propane heaters. They will leave a nasty smell in the room and have a very high chance of causing a fire.
