@createxcolors is W118 Fluorescent White permanently out of production? Everywhere I've been able to find it online says it's sold out

But what is the difference between the Wicked Flos & Standard ones? Say for tshirt application, do you recommend anything for wash fastness and when you mention decay... How long are we talking... Again using tshirts as a substrate? Cheers!

Chris help me out. I’m being told that you guys discontinued 7030 SSR Clear, and that’s kind of important when it comes to UV Reactive chroma. I’m being advised to use 4030, which I knew wasn’t going to work because of the UV blocker. I did try it though, and it made my fluorescents hazy and pastel-like. You guys had to replace 7030 with something else. What is it? =) Trying to find a clear coat WITHOUT a UV blocker on Google is a nightmare when it comes to search strings.

SSR 7030 Gloss Clear (now called 7030 SSR Gloss Clear) is still available, for top-coating colors in blacklight, createxcolors.com/reducers-additives/speciality-products. Thank you.

What colors would you recommend to make color keyed sealers for all of the fluorescent colors?

    • @CreatexColors

AutoBorne Sealer, www.autoborne.com. You may wish to tone down the sealer by using 6001 Sealer White as the base and tinting with another sealer, with the idea being the underlying sealer tint is lighter than the fluorescent applied over it. However, for outdoor conditions, you may wish to use the sealer color closer to its true hue so as to better hide the eventual fade of the fluorescent pigment. Another technique is to mix the fluorescent with the color-keyed sealer to make a better match. There's a few ways to do it, but the idea is that a color-keyed base allows for improved coverage and helps hide any fading of the fluorescent color. Thank you.

Can I use this paint to spray my motor? it hovers in the 180 220° how would it hold up?

Yes, in the Wicked Colors have long been used to paint engine parts, with such paintjobs starting with a 2k epoxy primer. A Fluorescent color is a dye, not a pigment-based color; it will not have as long a color-life compared to other Wicked Colors (and could have color issues after prolonged heat exposure, don't know, never used a fluorescent for a part such as a vale cover). For more about automotive painting with Createx paints, please refer to the Automotive & hard-Surface Application Guide, available at visit www.creatextech.com. Thank you.
