First he said that he didn't want to separate from his family to go into a man's shelter and the kids and wife go to a female/kids shelter. That is total BS because they would only be apart at night. Clean clothes? There are laundromats all over the place. At the end, the man says if you could just help my wife and kids, I can be homeless. So what is it? Your family has to be together because they only feel safe with you or have the donors only take care of your wife and kids. Scammer big time. He and his wife use their money for drugs which is why none of his family will let him stay with them or even let them do their laundry and take showers in their homes because they don't want to be robbed by these druggies.

People are in these straits for a reason. I go to church. I have been a Habitat For Humanity volunteer for 27 yrs. I belong to a veteran's organization that does charity work. I am known as a good friend, and honest as well as a hard worker. I took in my wife's grandmother, her mother, her sister, my brother and at various times and most recently my adult son . I got in a motorcycle accident and was badly hurt. I was embraced by all my friends, family and organizations where I volunteer. Everyone wanted to help me. My whole church was concerned with me and let me know they were there for me. I am a proud man and other than kind words and prayers I didn't accept any help but it was good to know how much I meant to all the people my life touched. I had savings and planned for contingencies. These are people who lived selfishly, made poor life choices and want everyone else to pay for it. They love the churches and charities when they need something but are never are contributors.
This story broke my heart AT FIRST but some of the things he said about getting paid and how much didn't add up when he said the least amount he brought home a mth then he said he had only been working I believe 2-3 wks so I stopped the video and and something told me to read the comments and dang it I got the answer to what I thought seemed shady :( I love the idea of what you doing and this should catch on and maybe shed light on some family's that truly need it!!!! Those parents are not on drugs. They are keeping their family together. Their problem is poverty. Stop misjudging people because of their circumstances. Put yourself in their position. I salute them.
Someone should call Child Protective Services (CPS) on them. Those innocent children should not be living in the woods with their children. His father can drive him to work but not allow them to live with him. Something is quite odd about that.

I was nervous. I felt such a heavy burden of responsibility to get their story out there. I was trying and succeeded in getting people's attention to get them helped. I was just overwhelmed by those thoughts.
We had NO Family help since our house burned down on Jan. 30, 2011. We moved even farther up north in Wisconsin to get support, and we have none from anyone. God Bless this Family, and Us, and ALL of the homeless people. America can do so much better to help house and feed people in distress. We are not all drunks and druggies. A homeless dog (and we do have 3 dogs), gets more help than a homeless person in this Country. People feel that the government helps people, but they do not help enough to get back on your feet.

I get what you're doing here, and I admire you for it. Yes, bring awareness to city, state and government agencies that can help. However, when you allow your followers to open their home to strangers; only to be ripped off, verbally abused and threatened with bodily harm - that's where I draw the line. No, these people weren't the worst that you've interviewed. I've been following your videos for quite a while now, and mostly everyone that you've come across has been this way. The majority of these people need to get clean and sober first before they can make any changes in their lives. Don't you see they don't want to do that ‼️ You should be reporting these people with kids to CPS, because you know the dire conditions that they're living under - not just being homeless, but witnessing the only adults they have to protect them do drugs and alcohol around then. You should be working with child welfare agencies to get these kids taken away - because they are the true victims in this situation. That's who you should be helping‼️🇺🇸😠🇺🇸😠
The children are the victims here and my heart aches for them. I suspect that the oldest son may have head lice, as he continues to scratch his head multiple times during the interview. The father exhibits methamphetamine use and I just don't believe his story.

If they get food stamps, they should be getting $500-600 on food stamps unless they sell them for drugs..the state will not let them be homeless unless he has a criminal record
Jacob PLEASE read the description and comment by Brooke Rodenbough. These people turned out to be horrible. Some of it could be helped other things were complicated by the fact that the "Husband" had a head injury himself when he was 8 months old. Because of that he had impulse control issues. He jumped to conclusions and the "wife" was a person we thought could be reasonable and help calm Chris and explain things to him but she would not. They both turned out to be heavy into drugs as well. I don't have a problem with that when someone who is being helped for the homelessness comes out and says "Oh by the way we have a drug problem too can you help?". We asked them up front and offered to help with that as well. It was the lying and the traumatic brain injury suffered as a child that made helping them impossible. I'm just a one man show. I was approached by at least 100 people within 36 hours of publishing this video with REAL help. Diapers and clothes etc., etc it was too much for me to coordinate but fortunately I had professional level help with these issues as well. (People who had work exp. with charities came forward). I will put a link up of the family who deserved every bit of help they got and more. They were the same good honest people on and off camera and a local family took them in until the county and charities got their act together to help them. Homeless In Titusville I'm the owner of backwoods moonshine. Here in the heart of the Appalachian mountains I myself and Lowe's hardware along with Wal-Mart and great churches help families in need. But we won't help if drugs are involved. How ever these children deserve a better life. Cps needs to be involved. It's sad that this can happen to the kids

The children are the victims here and my heart aches for them. I suspect that the oldest son may have head lice, as he continues to scratch his head multiple times during the interview. The father exhibits methamphetamine use and I just don't believe his story.

I can't for the life of me understand how a father/husband & mom/wife could ever turn down a WOMAN/CHILDREN'S shelter bc they were fearful of the kind of people that would be around them bc the mom knew no one around the area yet they are completely ok with the kids staying in a tent in the damn woods????? Jacob PLEASE read the description and comment by Brooke Rodenbough. These people turned out to be horrible. Some of it could be helped other things were complicated by the fact that the "Husband" had a head injury himself when he was 8 months old. Because of that he had impulse control issues. He jumped to conclusions and the "wife" was a person we thought could be reasonable and help calm Chris and explain things to him but she would not. They both turned out to be heavy into drugs as well. I don't have a problem with that when someone who is being helped for the homelessness comes out and says "Oh by the way we have a drug problem too can you help?". We asked them up front and offered to help with that as well. It was the lying and the traumatic brain injury suffered as a child that made helping them impossible. I'm just a one man show. I was approached by at least 100 people within 36 hours of publishing this video with REAL help. Diapers and clothes etc., etc it was too much for me to coordinate but fortunately I had professional level help with these issues as well. (People who had work exp. with charities came forward). I will put a link up of the family who deserved every bit of help they got and more. They were the same good honest people on and off camera and a local family took them in until the county and charities got their act together to help them. Homeless In Titusville I'm the owner of backwoods moonshine. Here in the heart of the Appalachian mountains I myself and Lowe's hardware along with Wal-Mart and great churches help families in need. But we won't help if drugs are involved. How ever these children deserve a better life. Cps needs to be involved. It's sad that this can happen to the kids

There family wants to help i am sure they have but i am sure that they not the kids the parents have screwed over there familys one two many times. Man my heart breaks for them kids. I knew a family like this but they had a house to sleep in there parents old rental and they trashed it, is was nasty inside and then i felt bad cause they had 2 kids. The parents were really bad in drugs they would sell there stuff , steal stuff , sell there foodstamps just so they could get high makes me sick.
