Once again this piano sounds so much better ( to my ear ) than when you have the mic too near to the strings. Distanced mics capture the resonance of the casing much better . This recording is totally fault free in my opinion .
Yes but these " beautiful instruments " are expensive but some are not. Just compare this recording with the rendition of " la Mare " played on a Yamaha B1. Could you honestly tell which was which in a blind test ? Most people could not ! I use a Yamaha DGX650 for recording and many people confuse it with a bona fida concert grand !! It costs all of £700.00 "
@@scabbycatcat4202 Over years of playing piano i learned that the only way you can really improve your technique is through playing on an acoustic. Yes its pricey and yes theres a lot of maintenance but its really worth it when you want to go a step further.
our local music store just opened up again recently, and we decided on buying a U1 and it sounds so amazing, im in love w/ it too. best wishes on your's if youre still gonna be buying it!
Yes this piano sounds good .. Not all do.. It's the same pianist who played the August Forster 170 . Same key F major...at time the Bb 0 + Bb 1 is played together ... Yes he plays well
what do call this sound???? I describe is bright, airy, chourussy , but i do not how to describe this sound to people, this there a name for this type of sound in the piano world?
@@ZeusSoloElite Here's a link to a place where you can buy the sheet music for what I believe to be the same song :) www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0062699
I know it's a nice piano but we have such a good player here!!
Beautiful arrangement and playing of a great song. Yamaha has a gorgeous tone. This arrangement lets the piano sing in all registers.
Same emotion here.

Thank you :)
Cannot imagine a piano not sounding good when played by Alan Robert. Thanks for those videos (4K makes them even greater).
Beautiful instruments like this should be affordable, the world then would certainly be a much better place!
Agreed
Second hand pianos can be very reasonable
Raw material cost is too high for it to be affordable
