I love how Robert has such a variety of pianos lately, and here he includes the most popular console model, and plays it with his fantastic musicianship. I love the variety.
This looks very similar to my piano. Mine is a Yamaha "Silent Series" model, which I bought in early 1990's. It had just arrived in the warehouse, still in the shipping container, when we drove from the store to see it. The Silent Series can be played acoustically, but also has a feature that allows the player to plug in headphones and therefore not disturb family or neighbors. The electronics are actually recorded from a concert grand piano.
The U1 was the first “professional” upright I ever played, and the first upright I played whose sound I thought was satisfying to play/listen to and could compete with a baby grand in terms of beauty/quality. The specific U1 is in a classroom in the music building at the college I went to. (Tennessee Tech) I always enjoyed playing on it before class, or in the evenings when nobody was in that particular room.
Robert, your playing continues to get better each year that goes by. Keep it up! You are playing so well!
It’s like one definition of infinity, going halfway again and again to perfection without ever reaching it. That’s what keeps me practicing!

Your playing is wonderful!
Thank you!
I love the 48" uprights. They have basically the sound a baby grand, without the footprint.
Or the price tag, by the looks of it.

@@LivingPianosVideos Thank you, but I wasn't criticising it Robert. Quite the opposite.

That piano sounds really bad Robert
Since it was against the wall, the microphones were placed badly. It's actually a really nice sounding piano!
