Story on Marquis Groves-Killebrew: he spent the entirety of last year at Louisville telling the coaching staff he was hurt, but they either didn't believe him or didn't find the injury. Although recruiting and talent matters, i think the recruiting rankings are bit off alot of times. You have kids that are clear 5 star type of talents, like Derrick Henry, Jamar chase, Nick Chubb, jordan davis, Will Anderson ect for example. But as for the rest its all up to coaches and recruiters to have an eye for talent, and you may have some kids that may be 3 star recruits but may be better than alot of 4 star recruits, just depends on who the people are who rank them. Some people just dont have an eye for talent like other people. What separates elite programs from others is their recruiting, and development, culture, and discipline. You can have an elite recruiting class but that doesn't automatically mean you're winning. You have to have continuity, leadership, great coaching and culture. Know how to see what certain players are good at and utilize their skillset to benefit them and the team in the best way possible. That's why i dont put too much into the thought of recruiting class Rankings, as long as my team is recruiting at a top 25 level, it means that more than likely they will be fine, but I've seen teams full of 3 and 4 stars play elite football.

Of course, the coaches are probably thinking, "Get them on campus, and I can win them over with my unbelievable coaching abilities!"
I really love your content and your other concepts but you should focus on the quality of editing and the scripts of these videos instead of releasing one every day I promise you the subs would prefer 3 great vids a week than 7 ones where a few aren’t finished
Blame that on the mediocre coach and coaching staff.
E.Stew had injury issues- he blames med staff not knowing how to treat his injury, and I’ve heard from others that he didn’t follow rehabilitation guidelines
Lot of these players couldn’t stay off the weed. Sad, but Jimbo looked away
Two things I absolutely hate about college football…..NIL and the transfer portal. Those two things are destroying the sport I love.
Only because it’s unregulated. I didn’t mind the old portal rules where you can transfer once as a undergraduate and once after you graduate but this transferring every year stuff is ruining the sport. A school can give a recruit 1 million $$$ in NIL and then he can just leave after his freshmen year then continue to do this till his 4 years is up?
Now that schools can pay the players directly starting this year they need to start locking them into contracts. I say lay it out as a 2 year contract with a player option for the 3rd and 4th year. If you leave the school after year 2 you have to sign a 2 year contract at your next school to finish out your career.

Yes but you don’t see teams with just 3 and 4 star players win national titles. Michigan is the closest but even they had a few 5 stars
Dang, Texas A&M got all busted green gems.. IYKYK
No explanation for the cut off in the middle of the video? 🤣
“Appeared in 7 games as a true freshman, starting all 5 of them.” This line made me have a stroke trying to make sense of it.
Mark nabou and paolo banchero went to the same high school
What if a player doesn’t play much but then transfers to another school and wins the Heisman like Joe Burrow did , does that mean he was a bust for Ohio State ? Because he couldn’t win the starting job ?
Sometimes players just dont fit the culture or the scheme the team.play
Them stars don’t mean nothing 😂😂😂😂
It's All propaganda and HS politics. IF you can figure out the recruiting algorithm you get the Stars.🤔🤫😎 Dave Campbell's is rag with no credibility.😂
So glad we picked up Stewart!!!!! Go Oregon he should be good for us this year #ScoDucks🦆🦆🦆🦆
As an Oklahoma fan, enjoy Dillon Gabriel
@@elijahoder3667 thanks man. I think Gabriel will be pretty good for us. Was shocked he left y’all because he was good. But I wish well for Oklahoma and wish you the best in the SEC
@@Therealtre nothing but love to you and the Ducks this season. Good luck in the Big 10
Only if he decides to play hard. He rarely got open in single coverage and cost us a game when he ran backwards to avoid contact, costing us a crucial 1st down. D2 transfer from portal was more productive. Not sad to see him go.
@@rolandblock2530Everyone is required to play hard at Oregon.
Our standard is on different level than TAMU.
The class didn’t even know what school they were at if you had asked them
5 star to cc is crazy
You should cover SIU Carbondale somehow
Connor has been a bright spot though to be honest
Lmao Gabriel has time to turn it around but LT Overton a guy who came to college a full class early and who is younger is a bust?????
Donovan Green tore his ACL bro
ESPN should do a "30 for 30". 30 million dollars for 30 recruits.
Good idea for a video
Meanwhile, in Ann Arbor where they stock up on three star talent....
A&M thought they could buy their way for a championship 😂😂😂
You can. Bama did. Five classes in a row like this you’ll win one.
@@AffirmativeAffirMATE difference is they did it through good development, something A&M lacks
Donovan Green would of started, but he tore his acl. Did not sit behind Jake Johnson by any means
You going to talk about how the Razorbacks are going to beat Mizzou this year??
What happened at the end of the vid?
Donovan Green ain’t sit out, he tore his ACL in spring
Demas was before this but damnnn he was good too…
Hated that they didn’t use Jake Johnson well-
Huh? He was second on the team in recv TD’s
@@kg7100 yes he was tied with EStew for 4, Thomas had 5…. 6th for receptions with 24 that’s about 2 per game… I know they struggled but he could’ve been used better. Elko/Klien will use the TE better than Jimbo did IMO
I’d like to see a “where are they now” in 10 years. Some of those top guys would be extra interesting to see how these high rated multi transfer guys end up. Not NFL but are they employed?? These athletes are so coddled in HS they can’t adult in college even with every advantage. Thankfully the kids who studied in the classes they skipped will pay enough taxes to fund their govt assistance. I cannot think of a sadder existence than Peaking at 17/18.
"The difference between American and Swedish Football" American Football in Europe is far more well off than you know. 10 Pro Leagues, and High Schools producing 3-Star and 4-Star recruits.
Instead of calling these guys busts for A&M just say it didn't work there. Bust is a nasty word in the sports world especially football and often times a label that is incredibly hard to shake off. Having lived in CStat I will say the town has a certain energy that easily envelops younger people. It's gotten worse as the years have gone on. A lot of these dudes came here because the money they got for one but knew it wasn't the best personal situation for them.
They went 5-7 in that season
Wtf is up with Texas A&M? Especially at the DL position thats where most of the guys seem to go from 5 and 4*s to being busts?
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh like who? TF are you talking about?
Weigman will still be Him
He looked awful against ND. Like HS backup awful
Sometimes these star ratings ain’t all that correct.
Bro stars have nothing too do with talent it’s based off of potential so basically a popularity contest. So im not shocked that the lowest ranked players are the best always are !
Come November 30th this season the Aggies are gonna get pounded so bad
Some of these aren’t accurate for example Donovan green tore his ACL in fall camp last season
Ya agreed to NIL bs! This is what happens
This be fair most of these players were bust or had off the field problems.
