I never get tired of hearing this solo, in fact I often have it on constant repeat it is just soooo goooood. Also it is good to compare the same solo on different instruments so that they can be compared favorably. Keep it up, love it!
Miki Santamaria has a very clean style, and execution in what he plays. He is very articulate. His slap and tap technique are very distinct, and not a jumbled sounding mess as many other players. Great video Miki Santamaria!!!

It's weird. I never care for Yamaha after they discontinued the old BB series (the Japanese models) but I like tone of the new trbx series. Your playing really brought out the tone in those basses.😊🎸

That bass sounds awesome for the price! My only grip is that it’s all active. But the tones were unbelievable! I turned it into a tenor bass tuned A-D-G-C. That bass ain’t going NOWHERE!😌❤️🎶👍🏾

I'm just getting back into the bass after Not playing At All since I came home from VN in 1970.... just bought (2 wks ago - Nov.2019) a very slightly used Music Man (Fender) "Sub" bass, a new Acoustic B100C combo amp, case, strap, Super Snark2 clip-on Tuner, 45 - 105 flat wounds, etc, etc.... and a Hohner "Marine Band" Harmonica (in C) - all from Guitar Center..... am 70 years "young". I haven't played in a band since before "Nam" - 1967...... it's never too late - let the "good times" roll again! : ) lol

Hi, I noticed that my bass has an excessive consumption of the battery in both active and passive. Basically I can play for a maximum of about 5 hours. The battery will discharge too quickly even if it sounds only passively. Of course when I do not use it I unplug the cord. What can it depend on? It does not seem normal to me. I would be grateful if you give me some info about it

Sounds pretty good, but if you go listen to this solo played on a Wal bass, you can hear why that bass costs so much more.
