  • I intentionally drove this 2024 Subaru Impreza 2.0L on my commute home to see if it's worth buying. It might be a bit a little boring, but it's the only hatchback you can buy with AWD at this price. So, is it worth buying?

FYI correct torque figure is 196Nm NOT 296Nm as displayed. Sorry :/

Drop the price by $2k, delete the CVT and replace it with a 6 speed manual, and it might be worth thinking about. I'd also be happy to delete the driver recognition feature. Of course, it will never happen... as I am in the minority of drivers, who actually like to drive the car, rather than sitting in it while it drives itself...

    296Nm. Don’t think so!

Video should’ve ended after those horrible fuel economy figures. Completely renders it useless at what it’s trying to be, which is an economical way to get from a to b. My hybrid Corolla easily averages below 4.3l/100km.

Yep, horrendous fuel economy at virtually 11 litres /100k , my 4litre falcon uses less than that. You're laughing at as all with your miserly 4.3l/100.

That infotainment pisses me off... So big on the wrong axis
