I went to Gulf Port to help serve my fellow man two weeks after...my friend and I snuck in as they were still not allowing people in and out of the streets. Rolls of barbed wire at the railroad tracks and the smell of death still lingering. We went through the town of Wiggins and there was so much damage there too, 50 miles away the smaller tornado cells finished the job. People there were as distraught as if it was in their back yard too. We went into all the neighborhoods we could carrying medical supplies, diapers women's needs and some snack foods. We even went to the "richer" neighborhoods. Some people cried because they were thought of also. We all become one thing regardless of who we are in the community. We are all one people. I will never forget the love we all shared for each other's commitment to come back from it all. It changes people. It really does change us forever. Glad you survived to testify the experience. If you don't have this tragedy going on in your life, life is pretty good.

I'm praying for all of you at ground zero. I was in Joplin years ago a week after their horrific tornado that took out a 4x8 mile radius through the center of town. A frame on a screen or even a video does not capture the true nature of the devastation. It is not uncommon for those that are there to help go through their own PTSD. The feeling of being helpless never leaves you. It is hard to phantom and impossible for anyone one to bring it back to where it once was. Just know that and pray for everyone. God bless and may his guidance let us all to being the right thing.
The idea of not only losing everything material including your mementos and car, your shed and trees and plants, really everything above ground, and ditto everyone on your street and in your neighborhood, of losing your hospital, fire station, police station, utilities, every business--everything--your whole *community*, is utterly terrifying. Add to that loved ones and acquaintances, pets, and livestock; it just sounds unbearable. My heart goes out to those affected by such catastrophes. 💙 P.S. For anyone who is interested, the expression is "hard to fathom," from sailors checking the depth of the water before engines existed. Shakespeare wrote "full fathom five" in his play _The Tempest_. One fathom is the longest an adult could measure by stretching out their arms, roughly six feet.
These tornadoes show no mercy when they're on the ground. I remember the Joplin tornado and it was horrible. I hope when people see these tornadoes and know they are getting worse that they build storm shelters. Mississippi always gets bad weather so do many other states.
The worst part about losing everything is that sometimes on the most difficult days, you always tend to remember what you've had. It's definitely not easy.
I noticed on Fox News that they said that Rolling Fork was without power. But but they should have said is Rolling Fork doesn't have electric power poles anymore. 😢
Blessing in disguise. Great opportunity to rebuild and reconnect with the community members. Slow down and get in touch with the people in the area, help each other out, and recieve support from the world.
I wish all the people living in tornado alley had access to storm shelters. Too bad the building codes do not require an adequate size storm shelter for every house, apartment building, hotel and motel that is built to replace buildings destroyed by tornadoes. It seems to me it is better to have a storm shelter than to have a garage.
My condolences to all the families and friends of those who lost their lives and to those who lost everything they own, just know that, day by day, things will get better. Time does heal wounds even if it leaves a scar. Just remember to make every day count and you will have a full life. God bless!

This tornado and the destruction has an effect on all our lives whether we were there or not. Everything is gone, all the material stuff is gone. But many survived to build a new Rollings Fork. Today is Sunday my prayers are being said for you all that God gives you the strength to move forward. This was a horrific event, but the people of Rollings Fork can and will pull through this for today through the pain and feeling helpless it will make you stronger. Stay warm, safe, and Blessings to all of you.
Shouts to the family in Anguilla and Rolling...GOD be with you..

Not when you are that poor. Most people don't understand the level of poverty these areas of Mississippi exist with. We ALL can give something to these people that need it most. They truly only have their lives and the clothes they have on. Come on America, let's ALL help our Brothers and Sisters out now, PLEASE 💔 🇺🇸 💕🪻🦋

This tornado and the destruction has an effect on all our lives whether we were there or not. For some it brings back memories of an event in their lives that was destruction of property and all possessions were lost. But it made us stronger than before and that is what God wants from us to be strong. So blessings upon all.
Scary stuff
Being alive after enduring those Tornadoes is a blessing. Material things come and go. Being a survivor is a blessing. Keep up the faith in God and Jesus.
Praying!
