Ordering Ak-203 assault rifles at a unit cost more than the unit cost of the SiG-716, especially when Indian companies (both DPSU and private) can manufacture much better quality Ak derivative rifles chambered in any caliber except the new 6.8. 3.) Sabotaging Indian tank programs one after the other while releasing RFI like FRCV which fit only imported tanks (Armata in this case). . I agree that we can't manufacture everything. But this is not the 2010s anymore. We do manufacture quite a lot. But Army is not doing itself any favours by not taking ownership of weapons programs like the Navy does. And first point itself shows that the Army has completely misplaced priorities. Because having a night blind infantry can lose you a war but just six Apache won't win you more than a battle.

Its a grouping between Japan India USA Australia which firmly believes that there should be free and open and inclusive Indo Pacific directly counterring china about there hardcore stance in South China Sea. Yes the new terms are causing problems to the students that were working hard to be in the Indian Army, (my solution was to announce these terms now and apply them after 2 years so that students can choose if they want to work for it), but these terms are very beneficial for future.

The exports to China from India are majorly Iron ores which are raw materials which is not good in the long run, while we import majorly finished goods and machineries! So China is building their infrastructure while we buy their factories product! The real wargame is played out behind close doors and on a much higher level than what the general public believes in!
Military threat is no doubt a very big threat but we all must agree that both nations being nuclear powers would never resort to indulge in direct military confrontation! So we must not get too over excited about what we see and hear from the media! Both the governments are trying to keep their public under the impression that they have the upper hand in military strategy while both of them know that it is not the deciding factor!!

I just said that there is a different wargame being fought on the economic front and we need to strengthen there!! Coming to China and Russia, China imports 11.8 million barrel everyday and Russia exports 8.7 million! So first thing is that Russia alone cannot full fill the demand and moreover no nation would export all its oil to another nation! That would make Russia heavily dependent on China to buy its oil! So at the end of the day, China stills needs those shipping routes!!

Not that simple. BJP can do noting if the previous governments didn't pay attention to military acquisitions and allowed the CAPEX to shrink. There are ways in which previous governments have weakened Indian military that mere 10 years of BJP rule can't fix. And then to top it all of, you have the Army that wastes money on importing stuff. Its not as simple as "BJP = India will win war".

1.) Ordering a mere six Apache-64E for the same cost that could have bought the entire Indian infantry some high quality 3rd gen, binocular Night Vision Devices. Or could have equipped the entire Para Special Forces with equipment comparable to Western SOF.
2.) Ordering Ak-203 assault rifles at a unit cost more than the unit cost of the SiG-716, especially when Indian companies (both DPSU and private) can manufacture much better quality Ak derivative rifles chambered in any caliber except the new 6.8.
3.) Sabotaging Indian tank programs one after the other while releasing RFI like FRCV which fit only imported tanks (Armata in this case).

I agree that we can't manufacture everything. But this is not the 2010s anymore. We do manufacture quite a lot. But Army is not doing itself any favours by not taking ownership of weapons programs like the Navy does. And first point itself shows that the Army has completely misplaced priorities. Because having a night blind infantry can lose you a war but just six Apache won't win you more than a battle.

u should look up more about the QUAD. Its a grouping between Japan India USA Australia which firmly believes that there should be free and open and inclusive Indo Pacific directly counterring china about there hardcore stance in South China Sea. QUAD was sleeping sometime but got active soon after Donald Trump and Shinjio abe (former japanese PM) is known as the architect of QUAD.
QUAD is not a military grouping but yes they do counter Chinese expansionism in Indian Ocean.
