- Former British Spy, Trent Kort (David Dayan Fisher), is on the run! NCIS, FBI, and MI6 continue an international manhunt for Kort as he targets current and former agents. One of those agents happens to be Ziva David. Just as Kort thinks he has outsmarted everyone, the NCIS team finds him, and Tony (Michael Weatherly) gets the revenge he desperately wanted.

For those saying Kort didn’t deserve this with Ziva being alive in the end keep in mind Tent Kort made the team’s lives hell since he showed up. Tried to kill Tony in season 5, had a hand in creating the port to port killer in season 8 who killed many including Mike Franks, and prior to this scene he personally killed several agency officials from different agencies including the original NCIS director he also tried to kill Fornell for being a witness. He may not have killed Ziva but Kort is not worth anyone’s tears.

I'm certain that Ducky was disappointed he was only required to remove a few dozen bullets from the late Trent Kort.
I’m sure he let them know who got the most hits and which bullet killed Kort
His final report listed suicide as the cause of death. The body was 3 bullets short of calling it self-defence.

Love that McGee takes the chance to say he cared as well even though the focus was on DiNozzo
I appreciate while they made Ziva’s “death” really personal for the entire team, not just Tony, McGee gets to be the one to say it’s personal, showing he really loved and cared about Ziva.

some time back, i binged through fifteen seasons of NCIS. Came to see every single character as my own family. Cried when one died, rejoiced when revenge or justice was served. still tear up over remembering how Ziva died... then jumping for joy when it turned out she hadn't.. (spoiler alert if you haven't watched it all).
i still think the latter was a stupid move by 'directors'

Pistol shooting uphill at an angle from 10 yards away sounds simple. It's not. Only Tony and Gibbs were on the same level ground as Kort.

Looking at the positions people were in, I’d say it was actually Tony and he was aiming for Korts middle (the greatest body mass and less chance of missing and hitting the others.
If you look he’s only kind of aiming (hip fire) so not 100% accurate.

Lots of people forgot bullets can go through humans especially at close range. Yes the car got shot, because the bullets went through Kort and into the car.

Trent was a dead man whether he went for his gun or not.
It won't be good on their conscience if he surrendered and they still shot him.
It would be hard for them to write a report if it's plain murder and not a shootout. (Going for the gun, I already considered that as PART of a shootout)
After the Season 13 finale, I love every single episode of Seasons 14 and 15 because we meet and get to know more about Alexandra Quinn, Nicholas Torres, Clayton Reeves, and Jack Sloane.
I like the fact that Tony didn't go in full-on "raging bull" - the shots he fired we basically like an act of catharsis - he already knew Kort wasn't getting out of this alive, and everyone else unloading their mags at Kort was already enough for him.
Love how they worked really hard to empty those magazines 😂😂
That feels like an instant IA investigation, the whole team firing on a guy responsible for the death of one of their coworkers.
Kort finally had his day in court. Satisfying.

So, the scenarists made him dumb near the end out of nowhere to justify he tried to shoot, against a whole crew pointing guns at him all direction, and the whole team had a "valuable reason" to respond fire and kill him... Sure.
You know, i would ask, how would have they done, if the bad guy wouldn't have done that?

Ziva would've been so proud of them to know she's that beloved and I would've had McGee say to hell it's not personal it's Ziva it's family and she'd be doing the same thing if it had been Tony in that farm house instead of her and Tony should've known that Ziva would've never gone out like she did she would've gone out fighting to get herself and Tali to safety but to this bastard it was just business I always hated his character
It's implied in season 17 when she returns that Tony guessed the truth early on, since he later found her in Egypt. Also, will be interesting to see what these two get up to in the spin off show.

@@harryboyes2812they are trained agents and in the video the guy getting shot is at the back of the car yet there are shots hitting the driver's side window. There is a whole back door in between the guy and where some shots are hitting and they weren't even that far away. Yes from that range I definitely could do better.

Kort was definitely outnumbered and outgunned here. Not only by Gibbs, DiNozzo, McGee, and Bishop, but also by FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe and MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves.
They really need to spend some time at the range. At that range, they shouldn't have missed and certainly not by a couple feet.

Classic case of death by cop. He knew they had him, he didn't want to face sever consequences so instigated his own death.
And from a legal point of view they won't face any consequences, as he reached for his gun.

That all checks out. Guy reaches for his gun with 6 agents pointing weapons at him. What exactly was his plan? He did not seem suicidal in the scene. They wanted everyone to have a chance to shoot him, but the writers didn’t quite have the nerve to let them commit murder, so they decided to leave it to your imagination that maybe they would have murdered him if he didn’t reach for his gun. All and all, pretty silly scene.
And here I thought you had to actually be able to shoot to be an NCIS agent.

It's satisfying closure, but it seems out of character for Kort to indulge in suicide by cop.

I remember this episode they pumped a whole lot of bullets into that guy tony took personal because tony loved ziva plus they had a child together and I don't blame him if I was in his shoes I would have done the same thing

Mark Harmon chose to leave. He stated after 19 years, he wanted to do other things.
I hate he left too, but can't fault him for leaving. He did give us 19 long years. Plus, his character is still alive so you never know when he'll show up unexpectedly. Gibbs would be in his 70s now anyway. Dude has earned and deserves his retirement

Someone wanted to see if the RoboCop program could be made a reality. Their aim truly sucked though, because at that range, they all should have been on target and on point. The only one with a reason for their aim to be off is the dude that got hit with the rock.

No, he realized after he learned he and Ziva had a daughter that he couldn't be an Agent anymore. He never had any regrets for killing Kort, especially since Kort was a cold-blooded assassin.
