I'm making a corgi, lol came here to see how you did the mouth opened and wow seeing your process is helping me reconsider my flow for my next project. I got to the same place, but your way seems more streamlined
I saw another tutorial where they used metaballs and sculpted the doggo. Which version do you think would be better ? I'm always doubting myself on wether or not sculpting would be a good idea.
Sculpting can be absolutely amazing but dynatopo makes for really bad topology. So after sculpting it add a new object, and retopologize it while snapping the vertices to the faces of your sculpted object or use the shrink wrap modifier.
