You've done great job with sunstrip, looks excellent, I need to replace my sunstrip too as looking a bit tired, I've already replaced the drip moulding you lifted for making it easier for you measuring everything, I did though also buy new moulding for top of windscreen, and for rear windscreen, but have not fitted as of yet, had for months, due to while getting a windscreen fitted in my works van by the "windscreen man" 🤣 being told by him the moulding on my V would be bonded to the windscreen and i may crack windscreen trying to remove it!!! so had been searching for answers on lancerregister etc, and found none, nothing anywhere.............UNTIL NOW 👍😍😁......your videos really are helpful, and so happy I now have a definitive answer, really enjoy your videos, you present brilliantly, with so much attention to detail, and detail is needed, as nothing straight forward. Brilliant and thanks 👍👍👍
@@SoloLap yeah 100% helped, I was concerned due to shape of profile on the rubbers at top of windscreen, thought they could've possibly been bonded under windscreen, I take it it just squeezes off and back on, with no silicon requirement etc, as I believe the rubbers are apparently quite often cosmetic, as many new vehicles like my van don't have them. Look forward to you coming evo videos, still got few to watch I think, I, really interested in your intercooler and air filter ones, as got new intercooler, hardpipes, rubber couplings etc, but a wee bit of a mismatch in terms of the products as all slightly different and believe will require some modification to get to fit, along with removing sas system from manifold, like yours has ......if i can't get it all to fit, I'll just to buy complete new kit, find often with the evos, there can be lot of trial and error, along with double buying same type of thing lol, got new hks filter with hard pipe kit too to fit, but I'm now I'm thinking about whether or not I can keep that in original position, or change it behind headlight, then there's battery relocation etc....your miles ahead of me 🤣, mines was standard from Japan 2017, but concentrated on body up till last few months, now getting into awkwardish stuff, but will persevere, and I've got back up.....your videos 🤣, look forward to the new ones too 👍👍👍
how good should the foil width be from the end down to the window 9 or 10 Inc. no, you need approval for the foil, I don't think it is necessary, I'm a beginner, thank you very much
@@ciprianionutapetroaie7314 ah okay! If you use a little dish detergent and have the windscreen wet, you can move it around a lot to get it right, then push out the water in the middle when you are ready to hold it into place.
I'm very torn on sunstrips. I like them on some cars, dislike them on others 😆 Guess the proportions are important as well, what you did on the Evo looks good!

Fantastic Bryan, glad I can be of help with some of the things I do. Lots more Evo stuff planned, just waiting for things to arrive now!

Excellent job Mythical Mark 😃👍. It looks perfect on your Evo5. Well done 😃👍
Thanks Salvatore!

I don't understand your question?
@@SoloLap how did you make the adjustment when you put the foil on the windshield, but anyway for the answer

@@SoloLap thanks, 👍👍
Just a question bro love the look but why not put it in the inside ?
It's much easier to fit and remove on the outside 😇 I would tint the inside though if I had gone that route instead!
Good job! At least in older cars don't have to deal with making holes for various sensors like in modern ones!
Oh god yes...the m3 was fun. Also the windscreen on the evo was like new so no bobbles and crap under the strip.

I'm the same, what I like is the narrowed vision, makes it feel more dramatic?
@@SoloLap Yep, a bit less to concentrate on, you can be more focused!
6thank you with all my heart
Unwatchable slow down ffs
Do you mean the fact I speed up the footage is hard to follow Neil? Or me cuttting out the dead space when I'm talking?
