Wish I had thought about the rain sensor before installing mine, I'd suggest sticking on some tape or thin cardboard over the shape of the sensor face, install sticker over this then you have an obvious place to cut. I did mine by trial and error, think I might be getting a second one next order and doing it right first time! Awesome bit of kit, really helps with the sun down under, and looks great, cheers!
@@DarksideDevelopments hiya I wanted to know what you used to cut it as I was worried about using a Stanley but in the end my strip was just above the sensors anyway! Your video was very helpful Thankyou :)
@DarksideDevelopments Thankyou for your reply 😊 I have ordered one, fingers crossed 🤞 one thing I've noticed is a Saab windscreen, or where it meets the roof, seems more curved than other vehicles 🤷♀️
The one in the video is the old design with a cutout logo that a few people had some issues with fitting, new design is just one solid piece with our logo printed on it
Hello something different here. I want to order a downpipe for a f10 520d MY 2013 from your side. Does anyone has bought it and can tell me how the fitment is?
Haven't bought it but have bought a 1.9 tdi downpipe, in general their downpipes can be a little bit more difficult to fit but flow better and are made better than any of the competitors, go for it you won't be disappointed bro
What’s going on with the chap who’s also called DARKSIDE bodyshop who is repairing all Calvins car diaries motors?…… surely he can’t be trading under the same name

I put mine on wet like window tint, it was hard but looks epic
Thank you, will be ordering one after payday 😀👍🏻
More details on how you cut the rain sensor out please!
Place something circular where the rain sensor is and cut out the shape once the strip has been applied

Typical Ryan 2 days after a fit a sun trip dry to my car 😂 now you upload a how to haha
Need to get this done after you’ve tuned my A5 👀
Mission passed ! +50bhp ! 😂👌🏽
Serously… Simple mod, but it make his little effect !
I need some darkside decals even for my petrol car! Maybe not one that big tho!
Would sensors work through a tinted sun strip or would they still need a section cut out?
You'd have to cut the section still

Thank you
Is this a deeper one?
Just fitted a custom one for my Saab, not from you guys, but it's not deep enough in the middle
It's 1500mm x 250mm and can be trimmed if needed

Sorry but we won't!
online it says it’s matte or gloss black with a grey logo but this one in the video doesn’t have a grey logo so which one is it?

Do the wipers mess it up?
And for any ceramic coated owners out there DO NOT spray iso on a dirty car and wipe it wash the car then wipe the area with iso
Proper job ✌🏻
