For those with an older lexus or toyota (mines a 1999 for reference) there's a small nob located under the steering wheel, for my 1999 lexus, it was un labeled, but that nob adjusted the beep volume.

Sucks that the 2016 Toyota Prius c doesn’t come with this function. It doesn’t make any sound when unlocking/locking, and there’s no setting to change that. The only option is feedback lights.
Hey Steve, Led lights don't flash when I use keyfob to lock the car. It makes a sound but no lights. They are turned on. Also I don't have turn signal lights on my dash or outside mirror even though the turn signals are working. I have a 2021 Avalon hybrid. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I used your tutorial to turn off the beep on my keyless entry 2022 4runner, however now I am unable to lock or unlock the truck using my key fob. I can only lock an unlock by touching the drivers door handle. I am unable to use the "door lock settings" to make my key fob to operate the lock/unlock. Any ideas?
@Steven Welch not the battery, the fob led lights up when buttons are pressed and the spare fob does the same thing. Again, i can still lock and unlock using drivers door handle while possessing the fob, but the remote function of locking and unlocking the doors will not operate. I've gone back to the stock settings, but still the same issue.

Your speculation is correct. I have a 2023 sienna with the aftermarket KARR system. You’ll have to download their app and turn ‘silent alarm’ from their app.
Where can I find this 9 step process? I use a 2022 highlander for work and I am constantly in and out with engine running and the beeps are non stop. Some of the areas where I work I can’t have this happening. Any help is appreciated.

Where does the audible sound come from? My wifes 2013 Corolla doesn't do the beeping. The 2013 should have it. There is no aftermarket start or alarm.

This doesn't seem to work if you have a third party alarm system, e.g. KARR, installed. It is that alarm system setting that seem to take control.

That is possible. Toyota does not reccomend aftermarket remote starts

Still beeping when I step out to check the mail. I get 8 beeps which is obnoxious and disturbs the neighbors.
The way to stop that is a 9 step process they shuts off the smart key system. The beeps are to remind you the car is running

It's likely the speaker that makes the sound is damaged or disconnected
