    Willie Mays. Greatest 5 tool player I ever saw. That basket catch was amazing. He said when he catches the ball that way, he’s ready to throw the ball. Saves time. RIP. Great comeback win. Best of the year. Thanks Casey and Coach Holt.

    If everybody keeps contributing like they’ve been the DODGERS will be alright through all the injuries.

    I thought I knew so much about Baseball, since I have been following it every second since 1987, I know every stat, trivia etc. , but Casey n Co. has taught me just as much since I subscribed. Kudos n respect .

    I wanted a lineup change and they came to life in the most expected fashion. Great comeback….Hayward has been a pleasant surprise and Miguel Vargas and Pages are coming to life as Rookies.

    When Betts comes back Ohtani needs to keep leading off with Betts second

      Shohei had to slow down because Betts runs a lot slower. Shohei steals bases much better than Mookie too. It's like having a Ferrari (Shohei) stuck in traffic (Betts).

    • @tocadadj2951
      @tocadadj2951 10 днів тому +2

      It won't happen. Betts wont let it. He loves leading off and won't let anyone else do it. He didn't let Trea Turner lead off even occasionally.
      He wouldn't let Miguel Rojas play short. Both Erick Karros and Orel Hershiser mentioned in on tv. Reason you weren't seeing Rojas at short anymore. Betts is about himself. "The me questions are no bueno"

      The team chemistry seems to be better without Betts. I don't know Mookie just wanted too much control of the team like Lebron does or not. Players/teammates hate those types of players because they are toxic for the locker room.

      I think what you're seeing is the Dodgers initially Circling the Wagons and embracing the sense of urgency of Next Man Up.
      It's still new, we'll see how long it lasts

    Coach is right. The homers were awesome, but the guys on base made those homers impactful. Solo shots wouldn't have won the game.

    Good win but we cant get to ahead of ourselves. This is still Colorado with its thin air. Most hitters look good at this ballpark then go on the road and cant hit a lick

    • @dodgersdaily
      @dodgersdaily  10 днів тому +2

      We all know that about Colorado, but we look ahead quite a bit at the big picture as Dodgers fans . Last night, however, wasn't just a win, it was historic. History was made, and, IMO, we all should stop and Live in the Moment.
      Plus Petersen made his MLB debut.
      Lots of reasons beyond just beating a bad team to savor the greatness of last night.

    45:51 that base runner would've been safe at home , if he didn't look behind him running past 3rd to home! Why? U shorten your locomotion by mid stride, twisting your head n partial torso around. He was out by a good step, but still. There was a change he was safe if he didnt turn.

    Hunter and Sweeney are having great years only to fall on deaf ears. Don’t have a chance with this organization. Trade chips I guess.

    Casey, do the upper management look at all these players on a daily basis in the lower levels like you do. Because to me there are several players that they should consider bringing up and given a shot. What say you.

      Andrew Friedman loves his prospects. Billy Gasparino, Job Adkins etc...are baseball junkies. I promise you they watch their Minor Leagues every night.
      Plus, they're in constant communication with their Minor League managers, coordinators, position coaches etc...
      The zoom meetings are some times daily, The Dodgers system is awell oiled machine that leaves no stone over turned
