My tip after playing. Psy freak have a perk that replenish life on spell damage. Ive made an awesome melee/spell caster. I go full melee and when my life goes down i just spam spells to refill it. You can build a sith stile gameplay. Or even use ranged weapons and use spells to refill your life or do damage while reloading
Thanks for stopping by Carlos! Love the life steal tip for your melee psi freak build. You can even get the "Mind melt" perk too so you do critical hits with your abilities:)
I saw some footage that shows the unarmed melee doing a short stun. A nice early combo would be to blink into a group, pop off some stuns then bounce out with a spark ball to clean up
I will go for a smart charismatic sniper. During character creation focus on Charisma/Intelligence - this lets you solve most persuasions and puzzles without additional investment, also the barter bonus lets you buy better weapons/components earlier and the psi-power buffs are useful later on. I would go for the Rex breed as the health bonus offsets the low Vitality investment and it still gives us a small buff to the Intelligence stats. Ranged damage only scales with crit chance and equipment/crafting, so we focus on leveling up Luck as it is giving us both. We go for light aura to get the Levitate psi-power, we then use our ki energy for levitating while sniping enemies from the sky with our overpowered twohanded snipers (or miniguns/shotguns).
That sounds awesome! Charisma is really underrated, the game focuses on story elements a lot so that is a great take. The levitating sniper idea sounds op, the enemies would already be dead before they spot you! :D Since you also mentioned using psi-powers, do you think there will be like items that can boost your intelligence in the game?(orbs or like amulets like in other games)
@@KaletheRelentless I watched the Fextralife stream yesterday and he said there are no stats on equipment that boost psi-powers. In my build idea i hope the inital intelligence investment and the small boost from Rex breed is enough to make good use of the levitate psi-power. Maybe later I have to invest more into Intelligence for it.
It depends on what playstyle you like, they are all good as all classes have access to all weapons/armors/abilities in the game! In terms of damage output, It would be Deadeye class as they have the potential to do the most damage with one of their exclusive class perk "Sharpshooter" which doubles your damage for your double handed guns!
Thanks for stopping by and yeh luck is such a important stat in the game if you want to do damage haha increases crit chance and even loot chance so you can get legendary armor/weapons!
Don’t know what general perks to get for your build/class? Watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/fTsRRAidX-I/v-deo.html

Psi freak with emphasis on unarmed. Unsure whether strength, intellect or both would buff it since the psi freaks unarmed melee does elecrtic damage
That sounds really interesting! Maybe your melee punches have a chance to paralyze your foe? (since there is a stunned condition in the game)

@@brizzo7504 a clean in and out combo, Nice! The blink ability from the gameplay videos looks like it will be a really good gap closer.
