Adding a charging port to 24v electric ride on toy - Peg Perego Polaris RZR 800

Instructions how to add a charging port to a 24V ride on electric toy. Dirt bikes, scooter and go carts. Do at yourself own risk. I’m not an expert and take no responsibility for error in instructions.

The connector for the battery is supposed to run through the slot in the seat base. That way you just lift up the passenger seat and disconnect the battery and plug in your charger. No need to take off the whole seat.

I'm not too familiar with charging ports but want to attempt this mod. My question is why do you have 2 + and 2 - wires coming from the port?
