A band i have preformed with took a photo of the band without the bassist present. The bassist was a black guy with a bigger afro than Phil Lynott so they drew him awkwardly as a bad stick figure with a bad black marker. It was hilarious seeing the posters.

About that second band- I actually started laughing when you said “maybe they lost one of their members” because that’s my dad in the red and he actually died of cancer in 2015. I laughed because I’ve got kind of a morbid sense of humor I now use as a coping mechanism. My dad was always promoting that band in the most cringey ways. 😂

My dad was good at his instrument but his vocals were a bit over the top 😂 No for real though, the one on the very left was a drummer for a Rush cover band before we knew him.

the "official" thing is because sometimes the name is taken by other band/company/what ever and it's just to keep the same name but have a different "fan" page.
I think they touched on that because the band only had like 200 views, just seems a little pretentious or unnecessary.
I love how when you comment on other peoples cringe or embarrassments or mistakes, you also include your own. Makes me not feel so bad about my own knowing others went through it to.

The "Untitled Song 1, etc" comment reminded me of the first like 3 years of my first (serious) bands existence. We were from South Mississippi, and there are aren't a lot of qualified metal vocalists around so we didn't have any lyrics for several years so the songs were titled 1-XX from their chronological creation. It got weird after you have like 3 albums worth of music and the songs are titled as numbers...

I was in a band called "Breakdown to Silence" back in the day. My city is not that big but there was a band called "Two Inches Silence" at the same time in that city. People booking us always got confused. Sometimes they've got things wrong and either my band or the other was falsly booked. But we were doing punk/hardcore and the other one did metalcore 😅 So sometimes you've had punk at a metal show or the other way around 😂
